The introduction of the internet has revolutionized the dissemination and assessment of research outputs with renewed emphasis on the impact of scholarly publications. The purpose of this study was to measure scholarly presence and citation impact of research scientists of the Building and Road Research Institute (CSIR-BRRI) on the internet. Bibliometrics was employed as a quantitative research method for this study using Google Scholar. The results showed that majority (77.5%) of scientists had at least one scholarly reference on the internet. It also found that, almost all (96.5%) scientists who had scholarly works online showed affiliation to the CSIR-BRRI. Again, it was observed that most mentions/hits were journal publications (59%) followed by thesis (35%). However, the study found that there was a weak positive relationship between number of journal articles and citations online, a clear indication that a web presence does not automatically reflect the usefulness of a scholarly output. It is recommended that scientists identify and research into globally relevant topics and also publish in reputable journals to enhance their visibility.

This research was conducted at the Culinary Hawkers that located on Highway Sukapura, Dayeuhkolot, Bandung. This study examines the Entrepreneurial behaviour which resulted in increased sales volumes. Almost all Culinary Hawkers on Highway Sukapura doesn’t yet have the entrepreneurial behavior in accordance with the characteristics - traits mentioned by Suryana, Confident, Own initiative, Have achievement motive, Having leadership, and Dare to take risks with the full calculation. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of entrepreneurial behavior to the merchant's sales volume culinary pavement on Highway Sukapura, Dayeuhkolot, Bandung.Researchers used quantitative research methods. The population in this study was 63 Merchants Culinary Street on Highway Sukapura. Samples are 63 street vendors in JalanSukapura. Data were analyzed using simple regression analysis.The results showed that entrepreneurial behavior affect the sales volume of culinary street traders in Highway Sukapura. Based on the calculation coefficient of determination (R2) can be seen the effect of entrepreneurial behavior variables (X) on sales volume (Y) is approximately 94%. While the remaining 6% are influenced by other factors such as competence, performance, and motivation.

Abstract Half a century after the “Second Great Debate” in international relations (IR) started, scholars still perceive the qualitative versus quantitative division as their principal divide, and yet we do not have a good grasp of the impact of this divide. My research explores how the divide shaped the incentives and behaviors of scholars and influenced the organization of our academic communities and knowledge production. The impact of the divide expressed itself in the distribution of research among methodologies in terms of relative quantity and impact. Less obviously, and yet more importantly, the divide influenced the distribution of quantitative research among different institution types, across fields and journals, and with respect to policy engagement. Using the TRIP database of 7,792 IR articles in twelve top journals from 1980 to 2014, I classify journal articles into three categories—quantitative-only, qualitative-only, and mixed-methods—and categorize author institutions into similar types—publishing quantitative research only, producing nonquantitative work only, and publishing various proportions of quantitative research. Notably, qualitative and quantitative works switched positions over time in terms of relative quantity and impact, with quantitative research more likely published but only slightly more cited in the recent decade. More importantly, the divide produced other less obvious but more serious outcomes. Among 1,111 institutions that ever published IR research in twelve top journals over thirty-five years, two-thirds published nonquantitative research only; fifty-three institutions published more than half of all quantitative articles; institutions publishing quantitative-only or nonquantitative-only research constituted two modal categories. Political science journals published more quantitative research, persistently and with growing convergence; IR journals also evolved toward publishing more quantitative research though with persistent divergence and forming two clusters. Quantitative articles and political science journals were significantly less engaged in providing policy prescriptions than qualitative articles and IR journals. To overcome this lasting and self-perpetuating divide, we must better understand its impact, learn to appreciate alternative approaches, and change the way we train future scholars.

The development of communication and information technology (ICT) has been developed by the government since the 1980s. This development has contributed to the increasing use of the internet as a new medium for the purpose of partnership, business and knowledge. This socio-cultural change, based on the new media, has led to the receipt of information and forming a new environment in all aspects including religious life. The development of the internet in Malaysia has given a direct impression on the development of Islamic da'wah. Today's society gains exposure to Islam easily through social media such as facebook, newsgroups, e-groups and others. Therefore, this article aims to examine the impact of the new media toward Islamic da'wah. Data was obtained on library research through secondary data such as journal articles, government reports, books etc. Analysis shows that the flooding of Islamic information in the new media has affected the da’wah among internet users especially in the acceptance of Islamic understanding in aqidah, ibadah and akhlak

PurposeWhereas traditional book and journal publishing remain the gold standard for many post-secondary institutions, nontraditional publishing is just as prolific at the flagship university in Maine. The university has strong land and sea grant missions that drive a broad research agenda, with an emphasis on community outreach and engagement. However, the impact of researchers’ contributions outside of academe is unlikely to be accurately reflected in promotion, tenure or review processes. Thus, the authors designed a series of altmetrics workshops aimed at seeding conversations around novel ways to track the impact of researchers’ diverse scholarly and creative outputs. Design/methodology/approachThis paper presents a case study of the instructional approach taken at the University of Maine library to facilitate discussions of alternative impact assessments that reach beyond traditional publications. FindingsEvaluations revealed an increased awareness of, and interest in, impact tracking tools that capture both traditional scholarship, like journal articles, and nontraditional scholarly and creative outputs, such as videos, podcasts and newsletters. The authors learned that altmetrics provides an entry point into a broader conversation about scholarly impact, and was best received by those whose scholarly output is not always captured by traditional metrics. Practical implications Scholars are equipped with novel methods for describing the value of their work and discovering a broader audience for their research. Future initiatives will target the needs identified through initial conversations around altmetrics. Originality/valueAltmetrics workshops provide spaces to explore the potential for new tools that capture a range of previously unconsidered measures of impact, and to discuss the implications of those measures.

AbstrakGenap satu tahun pandemi COVID-19 terjadi dan salah satunya berdampak secara signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental bagi orang tua dan anak, mempengaruhi perubahan fungsi keluarga, dan menimbulkan risiko posttraumatic sindrom. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gap dan novelty terkait dampak pandemic COVID-19 terhadap kesehatan mental orang tua dan anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian literature review dengan mengunakan diagram alir model PRISMA. Strategi pencarian artikel menggunakan aplikasi publish or perlish. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan 1 Maret- 7 April 2021. Hasil penelusuran artikel melalui aplikasi publish or perlish dengan pencarian melalui tiga database yaitu crossef, google scholar, dan pubmed didapatkan 1216 data yang berupa artikel penelitian, buku, surat untuk editor, dan lembar review artikel. Sedangkan pencarian data melalui registers, peneliti menggunakan register sciencedirect dan didapatkan 339 data yang berupa artikel ilmiah, dan surat untuk editor. Dari ketiga tahap proses pencarian data base didapatkan hasil akhir 15 artikel dari 30 arttikel yang direview. Hasil review metodologi dari 15 artikel didapatkan hasil hampir seluruh artikel menggunakan metode kuantitatif sejumlah 14 artikel dan 1 artikel dengan metode Mixmetod . dari hasil review isi hasil penelitian didapatkan tiga kategori besar berupa perubahan prilaku, perubahan emosi dan psikologis, serta dampak kesehatan. Dari semua artikel yang didapat hampir semunya menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif sehingga peneliti menyarankan kepada peneliti selanjutkan untuk menggunakan metode kualitatif atau mixed metode. Jika ingin menggunakan metode peneliti menyarankan menggunakan design kuasi ekperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi dan mencegah terjadi PTSD. Kata kunci: Stres orang tua, Psikologis anak, Pandemi COVID-19, Mental health AbstractEven one year, the COVID-19 pandemic has occurred. One of them has a significant impact on mental health for parents and children, affects changes in family function, and raises the risk of the posttraumatic syndrome. This study aims to find gaps and novelty related to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of parents and children. This study is a literature review was conducted on March 1 - April 7, 2021, with the PRISMA model flow chart. The researcher uses a publish or perish application for search article. The search for articles through the publish or perish application by searching through three databases, namely crossref, google scholar, and PubMed, obtained 1216 data in the form of research articles, books, letters to editors, and review sheets article. While searching for data through registers, the researcher used a directly registered record and obtained 339 data in scientific papers and letters to editors. The final results were 15 articles from the 30 articles reviewed from the three stages of the database search process. The methodological review of 15 articles showed that almost all articles used the quantitative method, including 14 articles and 1 article using the Mix method. From the assessment of the contents of the research results, there are three major categories: behavioural changes, emotional and psychological changes, and health impacts. Of all the articles obtained, almost all of them use quantitative research, so researchers suggest that further researchers use qualitative or mixed methods. Researchers recommend using a quasi-experimental design that aims to overcome and prevent PTSD from occurring if you want to use the technique. Keywords: Parental stress, Child psychology, COVID-19 pandemic, Mental health

The proliferation of the internet of things will open up new opportunities for implementing the digital transformation of businesses. Available data is expected to rise in unprecedented levels of quantity with the IoT playing an important role towards that end. Data analytics techniques will provide businesses with refined pieces of information in almost all aspects in both B2C and B2B context, thus refining services design and customization with more flexibility and options that focus right at the heart of consumers' needs. Digital marketing depends on these developments. This chapter aims at proposing a framework for analyzing the implications of data analytics and IoT on digital marketing.

Background: Open access (OA) publishing is rapidly emerging in almost all disciplines, with variable intensity and effect on the discipline itself. The move toward OA is also observed in the field of respiratory and pulmonology, where both OA data repositories and OA journals are rapidly emerging. Objective: we aim to study the open-access status of respiratory and pulmonology journals and the impact of the open-access status on journal indices. Methods: We collected journal’s data from Scopus Source List on 1st of November 2018. We filtered the list for respiratory and pulmonology journals. Open Access Journals covered by Scopus are recognized as Open Access if the journal is listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and/or the Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resources (ROAD). For each journal, we used several metrics to measure its strength, and then we compared these metrics between OA and non- OA journals. Results: There were 125 respiratory and pulmonology journals, a number that has increased by 12.6% since 2011. Moreover, the percentage of OA journals has increased from 21.6% to 26.4% during the same period. Non-OA journals have significantly higher scholarly output (p= 0.033), but OA journals have significantly higher percentage of citation (p= 0.05). Conclusion: Publishing in OA journals will yield a higher citation percentage compared to non-OA journals. Although this should not be the only reason to publish in an OA journal, it is still an important factor to decide where to publish.

Internet addiction has become a significant problem that primarily affects young people. It has an essential effect on the individual’s self-perception and assessment of their competencies. This study aimed to reveal whether there is a significant relationship between the level of internet addiction of university students and their age and self-esteem. For this purpose, internet addiction and self-esteem scales were used in addition to questions such as age, gender, the purpose of internet use, and internet daily usage time. We used a quantitative research method to obtain cross-sectional data from 400 Turkish young people using online surveys. Correlation, regression, mediation, and moderation analyses were performed using SPSS and the PROCESS macro plugin for data analysis. Internet addiction was significantly associated with self-esteem, gender, age, and daily internet usage. In addition, we discovered that self-esteem and daily usage time played a mediation role in the effect of the age variable on internet addiction. Moreover, the moderation roles of social networks, gender, and location in the impact of self-esteem on internet addiction were determined. With this study, we understood that as age increases, self-esteem triggers the decrease of internet addiction. In this sense, policies should be developed to increase self-esteem among young people to ensure the conscious use of the internet.

The presence of small and medium-sized enterprises on the Internet in the era of increasing global competition has become a necessity. These entities have begun to notice the benefits that can be obtained by using modern IT tools in various areas of their operations. The aim of the paper is to analyse and evaluate the impact of the use of IT tools in various areas of SMEs’ operations on creating their entrepreneurial orientation. The implementation of such a goal required, on the one hand, a literature review and an analysis of current research on the IT tools used by small and medium-sized enterprises in the context of creating their entrepreneurial orientation, and on the other hand, conducting the author’s own research among small companies. Quantitative research was carried out from December 2017 to January 2018 among 400 small enterprises in Poland by means of a survey questionnaire using the CATI technique.

Reklama online niewątpliwie oddziałuje na przedstawicieli pokoleń X, Y i Z, które wyodrębnia się w literaturze ze względu na odmienne cechy charakteru, poglądy, zachowania, a także stosunek do nowych technologii. W pracy wykorzystano wycinek pierwotnych badań ilościowych autorki, przeprowadzonych na przełomie roku 2017 i 2018 na próbie respondentów w Polsce 487 i Wielkiej Brytanii 173. Generations X, Y and Z towards online advertisingIn the last 20 years the two decades of the 21st century, there have been visible changes in the behavior of buyers under the influence of the Internet. Virtual communication has become widespread, which has significantly changed the structure of advertising expenditures — the share of online advertising in the advertising pie is constantly increasing. Online advertising undoubtedly affects the representatives of generations X, Y and Z, which are distinguished in the literature due to different character traits, views,  behaviors, as well as the attitude to new technologies. The aim of the considerations is to recognize the impact of online advertising on the purchasing behavior of representatives of generations X, Y and Z in Poland. Two research hypotheses were formulated. First of all, online advertising affects the purchases of all the generations analysed. Secondly, the generations Y and Z most commonly  tend to be inclined to purchase by advertisements posted on social networks. To achieve the goal a section of the author’s original quantitative research was used, which was carried out at the turn of 2017 and 2018 on a sample of 660 respondents in Poland 487 and Great Britain 173.
