The most important determinant of organizational effectiveness is the ability to attract, hire, and develop capable talent. The ability to attract and retain superior employees can lead to sustained competitive advantage for organizations. This is difficult due to the shrinking availability of qualified labor. The use of recruitment agency (RA) or employment agency allows human resource departments to target and identify quality candidates with more efficiency. RA, kind of consultancy, is normally understood as third party recruiter that finds jobs for people seeking them and finds people to fill particular jobs3 . Some RA focus their efforts on executive, managerial, and professional positions (white and yellow collar workers). These firms are split into two groups: (1) contingency firms that charge a fee only after a candidate has been hired by a client company and (2) retainer firms that charge a client a set fee whether or not the contracted search is successful. Most of RA in Vietnam apply contingency basis. Majority of foreign and big local companies use RA as one of the key recruitment sources to attract middle to senior level employees despite there is maybe higher expenses of this source than using other recruitment sources in some extents below: • The job vacancy is top confidential and recruiter cannot launch the public recruitment • The vacancy requires very short time to fill • The limited staffing resources of recruiting department or • The limited candidate pool in some industries or function which may cause very long time to fill the vacancy or to find out the right candidate.

Talent attraction is one of the major challenges for HR managers. With the rise of online recruitment channels, the number of applicants for a given job vacancy have increased substantially. In addition, the time taken in finding the right talent from the huge pool of applications has increased significantly, adding up to the hiring cycle. In today’s competitive labour market, employers need to highlight their brand image to prospective job-seekers, so that there is higher chance of recruiting the best talent that fits their manpower requirement. In this paper, an attempt is made in investigating that to what extent web 2.0 technologies such as podcasts, blogs and online employee testimonials may enhance the employer's brand value in the eyes of employed professionals. A multi-group moderated mediation analysis is conducted with 361 working professionals who are active online recruitment platform users. The analysis helps establish the effect of the perceived quality and credibility of career websites on job-seekers’ perception about the employer and on their subsequent application intention. The findings reveal positive effect of video podcasts and realistic employee testimonials presented through third party blogs on job-seekers’ perceived quality and credibility of the job advertisement. This phenomenon is reflected in their heightened attraction for the employer and eventual intention to apply for jobs at the firm.

In pandemic era, almost everyone struggles for their life. College students are such example. They have difficulty in paying tuition fee to continue their study. Based on this problematic situation, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia grants the students who have good academic performance with tuition fee aid program. Many variables used for determining the grant made it hard to make a decision in a short time or even takes very long time. To make it easier for management to decide who is the right student to get grant, it needs classification model. The purpose of this study is the classification of grant recipients by using decision tree C4.5 algorithm. That can determine whether a potential student can be accepted as an awardee or not. Then, the results of the classification are validated with ten-fold cross validation with an accuracy, precision and recall with the score of 87 % for all part. It means the model perform quite well to be implemented into system.

Actio Pauliana is the right given to a creditor to cancel the debtor’s agreement with a third party. The purpose of this actio pauliana is to avoid losses from its creditors, by requesting the court to cancel the debtor’s legal action which is deemed to be detrimental to his creditors. Actio Pauliana provisions apart from being regulated in the Civil Code, are also regulated in Law No. 37 of 2004 concerning Bankruptcy and Suspension of Debt Repayment Obligation (UUKPKPU). However, the two rules have several diff erences. In this paper, the author wants to explain about Actio Pauliana which is regulated in the Civil Code and Actio Pauliana which is regulated in UUKPKPU in order to provide protection for creditors. This writing gives the result that Actio Pauliana’s lawsuit which is regulated in the Civil Code is submitted to the District Court and cannot be justifi ed and can take a long time. Unlike the case with Actio Pauliana which is regulated in the UUPKPU, the fi ling of a lawsuit is made to the Commercial Court and can be proven simply so that it can provide more protection for creditors.

The most important factor to be determined before calculating the work done by the heart is the quantity of blood forced from the ventricles at each systole. Most of the efforts to determine this quantity have been based either upon faulty observations upon the dead heart, or upon the uncertain data obtained by estimating the mean velocity of the stream of blood in the aorta. Professor Martin accordingly suggested to us that we should attempt to measure it directly on the isolated Dog’s heart. The work thus undertaken was carried on during the greater part of the university session, 1881-82, and the results obtained are given in the following pages. The method of isolating the heart was essentially that described in Professor Martin’s paper (Phil. Trans., 1883, p. 663). In the course of this work many unexpected difficulties arose, necessitating changes in the apparatus and the method of operating, and preventing us for a long time from obtaining any successful results. In our experiments it was necessary not only that the heart should live and beat, but that it should be in the best possible physiological condition, and any marked pulmonary œdema made an experiment nearly valueless. This most frequent cause of failure was mainly owing to the fact that, on account of the large quantity of blood required for an experiment, we were obliged to use Calf’s blood obtained from the butcher; very often this blood, as Professor Martin states in his paper, will bring about œdema of the lungs in a short time; large quantities of exuded serum pour out of the tracheal cannula, the air-passages in the lungs become choked up with liquid, and the circulation from the right to the left side of the heart is greatly impeded. We have succeeded, however, in making a considerable number of experiments in which all the conditions were favourable, the œdema of the lungs not occurring to any marked extent until after many observations had been made.

The right and appropriate system of receiving and transferring goods is needed by the company. In the process of receiving and transferring goods from the central warehouse to the branch warehouse at PDAM Tirta Kerta Raharja, Tangerang Regency, which is currently done manually is still ineffective and inaccurate because the Head of Subdivision uses receipt documents, namely PPBP and mutation of goods, namely MPPW in the form of paper as a submission media. The Head of Subdivision enters the data of receipt and mutation of goods manually and requires a relatively long time because at the time of demand for the transfer of goods the Head of Subdivision must check the inventory of goods in the central warehouse first. Therefore, it is necessary to hold a design of information systems for the receipt and transfer of goods from the central warehouse to a web-based branch warehouse that is already database so that it is more effective, efficient and accurate. With the web-based system of receiving and transferring goods that are already datatabed, it can facilitate the Head of Subdivision in inputing data on the receipt and transfer of goods and control of stock inventory so that the Sub Head of Subdivision can do it periodically to make it more effective, efficient and accurate. The method of data collection is done by observing, interviewing and studying literature from various previous studies, while the system analysis method uses the Waterfall method which aims to solve a problem and uses design methods with visual modeling that is object oriented with UML while programming using PHP and MySQL as a database.

Background: Although DC Bead has been useful in treatment of multiple and large hepatocellular carcinoma, loading time of doxorubicin into the DC Bead takes a long time of 30-120 minutes. Epirubicin is also used as an antitumor agent together with DC Bead, but its loading efficiency was not sufficiently elucidated. Methods: To shorten loading time of epirubicin into DC Bead (100-300µm, 300-500µm, 500-700µm), we examined the following three methods after mixing the drug: (a) let stand in room temperature, (b) agitated for 30 seconds with Vortex mixer, and (c) sonicated for 30 seconds with ultrasonic cleaner. After loading of epirubicin by each method, supernatant concentration for epirubicin was assayed at 5, 10, 30, 60, and 120 minutes. Results: Epirubicin loading rates for small bead (100-300µm) at 5 minutes were 82.9 % in group a, 93.8% in group b, and 79.9 % in group c. Similarly, medium bead (300-500µm), 40.1% in group a, 65.7% in group b and 45.5% in group c, respectively. In large-sized bead (500-700µm), loaded rates of epirubicin were 38.8% in group a, 59.0% in group b and 48.0% in group c. Agitation of mixture of epirubicin and DC Bead with Vortex mixer significantly shortened the loading time, but sonication did not affect the time required. Microscopic examination did not lead to any morphological change of microspheres in all the methods. Conclusions: Short time of agitation with Vortex mixer reduced the necessary time for loading of epirubicin in every standard of DC Bead.

Abstract Compared with space parts, consumer parts are highly functional, low cost, compact and lightweight. Therefore, their increased usage in space applications is expected. Prior testing and evaluation on space applicability are necessary because consumer parts do not have quality guarantees for space application [1]. However, in the conventional reliability evaluation method, the test takes a long time, and the problem is that the robustness of the target sample can’t be evaluated in a short time. In this report, we apply to the latest TSOP PEM (Thin Small Outline Package Plastic Encapsulated Microcircuit) an evaluation method that combines preconditioning and HALT (Highly Accelerated Limit Test), which is a test method that causes failures in a short time under very severe environmental conditions. We show that this method can evaluate the robustness of TSOP PEMs including solder connections in a short time. In addition, the validity of this evaluation method for TSOP PEM is shown by comparing with the evaluation results of thermal shock test and life test, which are conventional reliability evaluation methods.

It is generally agreed that both the landfill option, or the civil techniques option for the final disposal of contaminated harbour sludge involves the isolation of the sludge from the environment. For short time scales, engineered barriers such as a bentonite screen, plastic sheets, pumping strategies etc. can be used. However for long time scales the effectiveness of such measures cannot be counted upon. It is thus necessary to be able to predict the long term environmenttal spread of contaminants from a mature landfill. A model is presented that considers diffusion and adsorption in the landfill site and convection and adsorption in the underlaying aquifer. From a parameter analysis starting form practical values it is shown that the adsorption behaviour and the molecular diffusion coefficient of the sludge, are the key parameters involved in the near field. The dilution effects of the far field migration patterns are also illustrated.

This chapter examines the position of third party beneficiaries in Chinese law. Article 64 of the Chinese Contract Law states that where a contract for the benefit of a third party is breached, the debtor is liable to the creditor. The author regards this as leaving unanswered the question of whether the thirdparty has a right of direct action against the debtor. One view regards the third party as having the right to sue for the benefit although this right was ultimately excluded from the law. Another view, supported by the Supreme People’s Court, is that Article 64 does not provide a right of action for a third party and merely prescribes performance in ‘incidental’ third party contracts. The third view is that there is a third party right of action in cases of ‘genuine’ third party contracts but courts are unlikely to recognize a third party action where the contract merely purports to confer a benefit on the third party.
