Sport represents a core content within of the Spanish Secondary Physical Education curriculum. Thus, perceptional and decisional processes should be pivotal elements to be take into consideration when successfully tackling the design and planning the sport teaching and learning process in the context of secondary school Physical Education. More particularly, the MATE game may be a suitable strategy to be implemented by physical educators in enhancing both processes and, consequently, providing students with a quality teaching for any sport. Therefore, the present study aims to show a curricular implementation proposal that, based on secondary Physical Education curriculum, helps students improve the perceptual and decisional process involved in teaching of sport through the game of MATE. To do this, a 13-lesson teaching unit is shown, considering the progression of this game as a main instructional strategy in terms of managing to increase the cognitive and decisional complexity for the student through the introduction of new rules and materials, such as mats (and their disposition) or increasing the number of balls that intervened during the game. Thus, this study aims to provide an integrated learning proposal, in which students understand the internal logic of the game and, consequently improve their participation and performance in it. Resumen. El deporte representa un contenido central dentro del currículum de Educación Física en Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. De esta manera, los procesos de carácter tanto perceptivo como decisional deben tenerse en cuenta elementos calve a la hora de planificar y diseñar con éxito el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en educación física. Más particularmente, el juego del mate puede ser una estrategia adecuada a ser usada por el profesorado de educación física a la hora de mejorar ambos procesos y, consecuentemente, ofrecer al alumnado una enseñanza de calidad para cualquier deporte. Por tanto, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo presentar una propuesta de implementación curricular que, fundamentada en el currículum de Educación Física en Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, ayude al estudiantado a mejorar el proceso perceptivo y decisional implicado en la enseñanza del deporte mediante el juego del mate. Para ello, se presenta una unidad didáctica de 13 sesiones, teniendo en cuenta la progresión de este juego como principal estrategia didáctica en cuanto a la gestión del aumento de la complejidad cognitivo y decisional del estudiante por medio de la introducción de nuevas reglas y materiales tales como el número de casas (y su disposición) o el incremento del número de balones que intervienen en el juego. De este modo, este estudio pretende ofrecer una propuesta de aprendizaje integrada, en la cual el alumnado comprende la lógica interna del juego y, como consecuencia, mejora su participación y rendimiento en este juego.

LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in English; abstract also in Chinese.In many countries, a major rationale for curriculum design in physical education is that it promotes a physically active lifestyle among the youths and provides a basis for the development of fundamental sports skills. Access to physical education and sport is not only a fundamental human right but it also promotes health, desirable social attitudes and values. Based on the above rationale physical education was introduced to Botswana secondary schools in 1999. In this study, the Botswana secondary school physical education curriculum was analysed regarding its potential role in sports development in the country. Structured interviews were carried out with Principals of selected public secondary schools in which physical education is a teaching subject and the curriculum development unit in the Ministry of Education. Results were discussed in the following specific areas: curriculum content analysis, implementation problems, time allocation, provision of teaching and learning resources, funding, personnel, opportunities for competitive sport participation and assessment procedures. Problems affecting the teaching of physical education in Botswana were also discussed and possible solutions proffered. Finally, analysis of implications of the physical education curriculum for sport development in Botswana was presented.體育運動對學童成長過程非常重要,本文旨在探討非洲波斯尼亞中學體育課程,從多方面分析體育課程與體育運動發展的關係,透過與校長及敎育部長面談,了解影響體育運動發展的原因。

Introduction. Question of estimating the pupils' achievements was one should to the hottest discussed in present didactics. Is the control and estimating the pupil it once of the teacher's the most difficult actions in process of teaching and learning, in this also with physical education. The superior task resting on teacher this qualification of aims of control and opinion as well as reliable and unambiguous criterions. In paper is presented styles it is possible communicating to accept that the most desirable and positive instrumental style is on the job teacher's professional, in this the teacher of physical education also.Aim. It was the aim of work the qualification of relationships setting between chosen components estimating the pupils' achievements and the represented by studied teachers of physical education styles of didactic transport.Material and method. It investigations were subjected was the teachers of physical education (woman – N = 282; men – N = 298) with professional full qualifications working at elementary schools, secondary-school and secondary in Poznań (N = 204), Wrocław (N = 171) and Łódź (N = 205). It totality was has given an examination was 580 teachers.Results. It the conducted analysis of results of investigations on the ground was affirmed was that the of didactic transport represented by teachers of physical education style has on chosen components of action multiple influence control - estimating.Conclusions. Teachers, regardless of the subject represented and the style of communication, should take into account emotional, intellectual and physical predispositions in assessing students' achievements. The surveyed physical education teachers mainly take into account physical predispositions, unfortunately they are much less likely to take into account in assessing the emotional and intellectual state of pupils.

  Ante situaciones de emergencia que obligan al conjunto de la población – en especial a los adolescentes – a permanecer en casa, la Educación Física (EF) representa una buena estrategia para contribuir a mantener los niveles de actividad física diarios desde casa. Por tanto, el objetivo de este trabajo fue mostrar una propuesta didáctica que, basada en el currículum de Educación Física de educación secundaria obligatoria, contribuya a promocionar la actividad física en casa. Para ello, esta propuesta se fundamenta en un enfoque competencial, incluyendo tanto tecnologías de la información y la comunicación como el establecimiento de retos, con la finalidad de abordar los diferentes contenidos curriculares relacionados con la calidad de vida y salud, condición física y motriz, juegos y deportes, expresión corporal y actividades físicas en el medio natural. La evaluación se plantea mediante una serie de instrumentos (rúbrica, diario, portafolio, hoja de observación y cuestionario) que permitan conocer el grado de consecución de los criterios de evaluación. Después de todo, esta propuesta abre nuevas vías para que el profesorado de EF desarrolle otras propuestas didácticas que faciliten no sólo seguir con las clases de educación física, sino la realización de actividad física en casa. Abstract. In emergency situations that force the whole population – particularly adolescents – to stay at home, Physical Education represents an optimal strategy to contribute to adolescents’ physical activity at their home. Therefore, this study aims at showing a didactic proposal that, based on Middle Secondary School Physical Education curriculum, promotes adolescents’ physical activity at home. For this end, this proposal relies on a competence approach, including both communication and information technologies and the establishment of challenging activities, in order to tackle the different curricular contents related to health and quality of life, physical and motor fitness, games and sports, body expression and physical activities in natural environment. Assessment focuses on a series of instruments (rubric, diary, portfolio, observation sheets, and questionnaire) allowing to evaluate the degree of accomplishment for each assessment criterion. Finally, this proposal offers new avenues for Physical Education teachers to develop other didactic proposals facilitating not only Physical Education classes, but also physical activity at home.

This study examined Dynamism of instructional aids on teaching of Physical Education among secondary school in Kogi State, Nigeria. Descriptive research design of survey type was used. The population for this study consist all Secondary School students within the study area. Purposive and random sampling techniques were used to select 394 respondents. Researcher–structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The instrument was validated by three lectures in the department of Human Kinetics Education, University of Ilorin and tested for reliability. A correlation coefficient of 0.85 was obtained. The administration of the instrument was done by the researchers. The data collected were analysed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) and percentage count. The results revealed that, there was a significant relationship between behavioural benefits and cognitive benefits of instructional aids on teaching of Physical Education among Secondary Schools. The study concluded that uses of instructional aids are significant to quality teaching of physical education in schools. The study recommends that effective uses of instructional aids plays a significant role in teaching and learning of Physical Education in schools which also enhance the behavioural and cognitive benefits of the students.

The purpose of this study was to determine how physical education students’ cardiovascular responses as determined by mean heart rate, standard deviation of heart rate, and percentage of time in target heart rate zone varied according to student characteristics. Participants were 505 students in Grades 3 through 12. The Polar Accurex Plus heart rate telemetry system was used to measure the physiological load on the cardiovascular system. Three-way ANOVA results suggested that heart rate patterns in physical education varied according to gender, grade, and activity. For example, secondary school girls were more active in individual activities while secondary school boys were more active in team sport activities. Elementary students were the most active group and had the most variability in their heart rate patterns.

Change is a vital matter connecting to key educational concerns of teaching and learning and also involves questions of ethics. By deploying a feminist posthumanist framework, this paper elaborates change together with the notions of boundaries and responsibility. This is done by exploring moments from a collaborative research project conducted in a Swedish upper secondary school concerning a teaching unit focusing on equality and norms. The questions guiding the paper are: How is change enacted within the teaching? And, how to unfold the responsibilities the teaching entails? By working within the interplay of empirical enquiry and theoretical elaboration, the paper addresses how a multitude of encounters become involved in enactments of change.  Further, it unfolds how change entails both unpredictability and responsibility for teaching and learning. In the concluding notes the ambiguities of change are stressed addressing the call within posthuman ethics of how to expand the boundaries.

                                                  ABSTRAK            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan proses belajar mengajar tenis meja pada servis forehand dan backhand melalui media dinding pada mahasiswa penjas. Penelitian dilakukan pada jam belajar mata kuliah pilihan semester tiga mahasiswa penjas. Metode  penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), penelitian ini secara obyektif atau apa adanya dengan subyek mahasiswa penjas mata kuliah pilihan tenis meja berjumlah 30 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu : (1) pendahuluan, (2) Inti (3) Penutup . Jenis data  yang dikumpulkan proses belajar – mengajar berlangsung. Adapun hasil pengamatan terhadap mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar pada servis forehand dan backhand melalui media dinding permainan tenis meja pada siklus I adalah sebesar 55% dari keseluruhan pengamatan terhadap proses belajar mengajar. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 85%. Sedangkan hasil pengamatan  terhadap dosen pada siklus I sebesar 65% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 90%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya peningkatan yang sangat berarti dalam penerapan pembelajaran servis forehand dan backhand melalui media dinding pada mahasiswa penjas.Kata Kunci : Penerapan Media Dinding, Service Forehand Backhand, Tenis Meja. AbstractThis study aims to determine the improvement in the learning process of table tennis on forehand and backhand service through the wall media for Physical Education students. The study was conducted on the hours of learning elective courses of the third semester Physical Education students. The research method used was classroom action research (CAR), this study objectively or as it is with the subject physical education students in elective courses table tennis, amounting to 30 people. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 stages: (1) introduction, (2) Core (3) Closing. The type of data collected in the teaching and learning process. As for the results of observations of students in the teaching and learning process in the forehand and backhand service through the table tennis wall media in the first cycle were 55% of all observations of the teaching and learning process. In the second cycle increased to 85%. While the observations of lecturers in the first cycle were 65% and increased in the second cycle to 90%. So it can be concluded that there was a very significant increase in the application of learning forehand and backhand services through wall media on Physical Education students.Keywords: Application of Wall Media, Forehand Backhand Service, Table Tennis.
