The term integrated manufacturing is currently vogue and yet because of its poor definitation it is a concept which is difficult to apply. A strategic levell view of integrated manufacturing can provide a framework and some tools will be useful to the operating manager in thinking about integration. Meanwhile another way explaining the TQM revolution is to say that it focusses attention once new sense of time and relationship. Doing job right the first time requires investing resources in understanding system and enabling people to improve processes continually. TQM asks to focus an increasing quality of what is produced. The result of this different sense of time is usually a larger qualy and better quality. The new  same of time goes hand in hand wuth a rethinking most important in organizations first and fore most, the relationship with employees must be rethought. Employees, according to TQM want responsibility, want to learn and improve and to demonstrate self-mastery and achievement. This is a far cry from treating employees as than who need to be helped and motivated to produce quality goods and services.

This study sought for the first time to identify the extent to which autistic people are pursuing careers in the performing arts, and to determine the nature of the relationship between individuals’ autistic traits and their reported wellbeing. To address these aims, we recruited a self-selecting, community-based sample of individuals working in the performing arts and invited them to complete an online survey. A total of 1,427 respondents took part. We collected responses on participants’ backgrounds, including diagnostic history as well as measures assessing their level of autistic traits, perceived occupational self-efficacy, quality of life, and mental health. They were also asked open-ended questions about support needed, received, or desired in their workplace. Eleven of the 1,427 professionals (1%) reported a clinical diagnosis of autism. Correlational analyses demonstrated that higher levels of autistic traits were significantly associated with lower levels of quality of life, lower levels of occupational self-efficacy and greater severity of mental health conditions. Almost half the sample of professionals (N = 621; 44%) reported a desire for more employment-based support, and autistic traits were significantly higher in those participants who wanted greater support. Within the community of those working in the performing arts, there are a minority of individuals who are autistic or who have high levels of autistic traits. We have demonstrated for the first time that these individuals may be especially vulnerable to lower wellbeing.

In this study a comparison of the topography of BiFeO3 (BFO) thin films deposited on tantalum pentoxide substrates of different thicknesses is provided. The Ta2O5 substrates had a roughness increasing with the film thickness. The relationship between substrates of different topography but the same composition with the quality of the growing bismuth ferrite film is estimated. For the first time the topography estimation of BFO on Ta2O5 is presented. The difference in temperature expansion coefficients leads to intensive evaporation of bismuth ferrite from the surface during annealing. XPS analysis is provided for asdeposited and annealed BFO layers.

In Malaysia, the goods and services tax (GST) was implemented in 2015 as part of a tax reform program to generate a stable source of revenue. This study explores human behaviour towards GST, a week post-implementation. The partial least square (PLS) modelling was used to establish the relationship between acceptance, knowledge and feelings towards GST as well as the quality of life. There is a positive relationship between the antecedents and the quality of life. Acceptance of GST exerts a significant relationship towards feelings and quality of life in the future. Keywords: GST, acceptance, knowledge, quality of lifeeISSN 2398-4279 © 2018. The Authors. This introductory chapter provides an overview of Spanish Hebrew poetry. The revival of Hebrew poetry was a direct consequence of two factors: the residence of the Jews in Muslim lands, and the Jews’ reappraisal of the Hebrew Bible. The Jews of Spain followed their Arabic masters in much of their poetic subject-matter, but they often transmuted it into specifically Jewish material. One encounters often their awareness of the passing of time, of the futility of life, and of the precious quality of the immortal soul. And, above all, one experiences with them their search for the knowledge of God, their sense of dependence on him as the Creator of the world, their consciousness of the relationship between God and the Jewish people, their desire to serve him with all their being, their remorse at their own iniquity, and their torment and their bewilderment at the sufferings of their people. The Spanish period not only saw the efflorescence for the first time since the ‘song of Songs’ of secular Hebrew poetry. It also provided for the first time the framework for the professional Jewish poet.

Vascular dementia (VD), a cerebrovascular disease which causes cognitive impairment, is one of the significant factors that affects the quality of senectitude. Atherosclerosis (AS) is a chronic inflammatory syndrome and closely associated with VD. Analyzing the role of AS in VD contribute greatly to its early detection and prevention, but their relationship has not been integrated into a complete network. This review summarizes AS biomarkers as VD predictors for the first time and describes the direct mechanisms of AS causing VD from five aspects: vascular morphogenesis, hemodynamic change, neurovascular unit damage (NVU), oxidative stress, and microRNA (miRNA). Finally, it discriminates the relationship between AS and VD in common risk factors which can be disease or some molecules. In particular, these data imply that the role of AS in VD is not only a pathogenic factor but also a comorbidity in VD. This review aims to bring new ideas for the prediction and treatment of VD.

It is a well-known fact that inner ear diseases are often caused by microcirculatory disorders, and the recent literature is oriented towards investigations into the relationship between the cardiovascular system and cochleovestibular illness with related classical symptoms: tinnitus, hearing loss, and vertigo or instability. These symptoms, and particularly the vertigo, may be the alarm signal of microcirculatory disorders of the labyrinth or vertebrobasilar circulation so as to represent a possible symptom of posterior circulation stroke. The treatment aimed at correcting the haemodynamic and metabolic imbalance, generated by the cochleovestibular microcirculatory disorders, with drugs that act on the vessel wall being very useful, both alone and in combination with other treatment protocols. This is a multicenter retrospective observational study conducted in 40 neurootological laboratories with 873 patients with cardiovascular risk factors suffering from tinnitus, instability or peripheral vertigo alone or in combination with one another treated for the first time with mesoglycan. The data collected showed that the treatment with mesoglycan, irrespective of the type of vascular risk factor, is not only well tolerated but also significantly and objectively improves the cochleovestibular symptoms and the quality of life of patients suffering from tinnitus, peripheral vertigo and instability.

An assessment of a relationship between aggregated and partial indicators of the tourist sector development on one hand and other sectors of economy and society on other hand are investigated in the paper. Indicators are expressed in both direct monetary terms and rating scales. The study covers 149 countries in 2016. The results of the study indicate a positive relationship between the development of the tourist sector and the level of economic welfare of the country. This is explained by fact that tourist goods and services are subject of a second necessity and demand for they increases significantly with growth of income level. Found that there is a positive correlation between indicators of tourism sector development and indicators of quality of socio-economic environment. This may be due to fact that, on one hand, high quality socioeconomic environment stimulates visits to country; on other hand, travels stimulate growth of economy and welfare of citizens who live in territory that visited. Further analysis of aggregate of countries, divided into 4 groups by income, showed mixed results. Thus, a stronger correlation between all analyzed indicators is observed in low and high-income countries, weakening in transition to averages by a sample of values. However, such a weak relationship for some countries may be a consequence of a small share of the tourism sector in the economy. This paper differs from previous researches by focusing on a large sample of countries and reveals the relationship between tourism sector development indicators and socioeconomic environment indicators. One can speak of objectivity of results obtained, since they are confirmed both using Spearman’s correlation coefficient and Kendall’s Tau correlation.

The article deals with general theoretical and constitutional-legal issues of the formation and implementation of the constitutional-legal responsibility of the President of Ukraine. The relationship between the institution of constitutional and legal responsibility of the President of Ukraine and the problems of implementation of the Constitution and constitutional legislation, the formation of constitutionalism and the implementation of constitutional reform in Ukraine is investigated. The article analyzes modern legislative initiatives in the field of regulation of the institution of impeachment of the President of Ukraine. It is concluded that the correct understanding of the essential and functional-teleological characteristics of the constitutional and legal responsibility of the President of Ukraine depends on its functionality and efficiency. In general, positively assessing the adoption of a special Law of Ukraine "On the special procedure for removal of the President of Ukraine from office (impeachment)", we can conclude that it legalized for the first time at the legislative level the institution of constitutional and legal responsibility (by defining the concept of constitutional responsibility) and some legal features, principles, functions, features of the subject-object composition, revealing its essence and content as a type of legal responsibility, purpose in society and the state, as well as its place in the system of protection of the Constitution and constitutional order. On the other hand, attention should be paid to the overly complicated impeachment procedure, which in fact makes it impossible to implement the appropriate form of constitutional liability in practice. The procedural component of this Law, as well as many other legislative acts, which enshrine the relationship of constitutional and legal responsibility, is a significant shortcoming of native constitutional law. After all, the functionality and effectiveness of constitutional and legal responsibility in general, and such a subject of constitutional law as the President, depends not only on a proper understanding of its essential and substantive characteristics, but also primarily the quality of procedural and procedural support for its application.

AbstractCustomer satisfaction is an important factor to businesses, because it causes customers to constantly return to use the service. Customer satisfaction is also related to the quality of service received by the customer of the companys’ products or services. The problem of OC’s call center service quality happened at the first time a customer contacts the call center where waste of customer’s waiting time is detected. Service quality improvement methods used in the analysis of the waste of customers’ waiting time is the DMAIC and lean approach. Results showed that improvement is seen at the sigma level. The tools used are SIPOC, pareto diagram, CTQ, two proportion test, DOE, p-chart, and minitab-16. Service blueprint analysis is used to analyze and discuss the relationship between service quality improvement using DMAIC in service process, points of contact with customers, and the evidence seen by the customer serviceKeywords: service quality, lean, DMAIC, service blueprint, sigma level

Purpose This paper aims to examine the influence of shared leadership on team performance in terms of quantity and quality and in addition the moderating effect of task complexity on this relationship. Design/methodology/approach Data was gathered from 26 teams of students from a major university in Germany who completed a laboratory team decision-making exercise. Findings The results suggest that teams sharing leadership showed better team performance and made fewer errors. They achieved higher levels of quality of performance. In addition, if the team members viewed the task as highly complex then the quality of their performance was increased. Practical implications Therefore for organizations to optimize team performance shared leadership should be promoted, the SNA should be used to develop interventions and training and influencing perceptions of task complexity should be considered as an important strategy to stimulate shared leadership in teams. Originality/value This paper has an original approach by testing for the first time how perceived task complexity moderates the relationship between shared leadership and team performance and by developing an original team task to investigate shared leadership.
