This study aims at identifying the level of anxiety from online examination in the blended learning for middle stage studants in Palestine " Hitten primary school as a study case" . This sample consists of 272 students from this school chosen simply and randomly based on ascale of online examination anxiety prepared by Mr.Atiyya Abu Al-sheikh . Some significant results came out from this study: First, there is a big level of anxiety when sitting for online exams during the process of blended learning. Second, there is statistical significance when considering the class variable . Thirdly, it is noticed that there is also statistical significance when considering the device used. Some necessary recommendations are given and the most important one is to adopt a councelling supporting blended program to reduce the level of stress and anxiety.

This study aims to describe the implementation of multimedia learning in blended learning in mathematics in grade 4 elementary schools on the topic of fractions. Articulated storyline is an effective medium for elementary school students that is easily developed as one of the multimedia blended learning used in the blended learning method. In our research we examined how the impact of implementation blended learning using multimedia articulated storylines, In this case, it is also discussed how the influence of multimedia articulation storylines as one of the multimedia that can be developed easily to help teachers in distance learning, especially mathematics learning in schools. Primary school related to fraction learning. In this research, students are taught how to interpret the understanding of the concept of fraction problems and proof in life related to mathematics learning problems, so that they can describe mathematical problems and can understand the concept of fractions using logical reasoning so that they are able to prove reasoning about fraction problems according to their abilities. The use of reasoning is needed to determine the concepts that have been made based on the understanding of the concept of fractions that the students have. This study was designed to see the effect of blended learning which is applied as a learning model used to teach logical reasoning in mathematics learning, especially about fraction problems, and how the effect of the application of blended learning on learning outcomes of primary school students at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Pangkalpinang

What is the role of play in learning? What ways can we as educators leverage our students' extracurricular digital lives in meaningful ways in our digital and physical learning environments? What roles can the elements of game mechanics and game thinking serve towards these ends, especially in a blended learning environment? These are some of the initial questions that guided my action research at the American Community Schools, Athens (ACS). My project considers the efficacy of employing gamification strategies within a blended learning environment. This chapter in turn provides a brief narrative account of my research experience, focusing on an entrepreneur simulation in the ACS Academy (High School), and a series of gamified interventions done with ACS middle school students. It closes with a brief gamification toolset, a series of practical considerations drawn from this field experience and relevant research that may be helpful for teachers and administrators interested in exploring ways to gamify their own digital and physical learning communities or spaces.

Background. The aim of this study was to examine the breakfast habits, nutritional status and their relationship with academic performance in primary school students in Tehran, Iran.Method. In this cross-sectional study 829 primary school children were included. Child Body Mass Index (BMI) was calculated based on the objective measures of height and weight as well as adjusted for age and gender. Data on Breakfast habits and academic performance were collected by a valid checklist. For data analysis we used Chi-squared and Fisher's exact test using SPSS software, version 11.5; statistical significance was assumed if p-value is below the 0.05Results. The average breakfast consumption per week was 5.5 times (days) with a standard deviation of 2.9. Based on the results, 30.9 % of participants did not consume full breakfast (six times or less) and 69.1 % had a complete one. In terms of academic grade level, 88.4 % of the participants were in a high level, 10.3 % in appropriate conditions and only 1.3 % of the respondents required more effort (inappropriate).There was no significant correlation between breakfast consumption and academic status (p=0.73), nutritional status of the participants according to the academic performance status Individuals showed no statistically significant relationship (P=0.9).Conclusion. Unlike previous studies, this study revealed no correlation between the academic grade level of elementary students with nutritional status and breakfast habits. It is suggested that according to the qualitative school scoring method, future studies are needed to assessing the students' academic performance. Other parameters will be considered in addition to the average in order to provide a better perspective of students' academic performance.

The present study aimed to explore the effectiveness of a proposed program titled (creativity lamp) in improving students’ thinking skills and academic achievement and promoting creativity among them in Kuwait. This program involves several enrichment activities. The experimental group consists from 26 students. The control group consists from 25 students. Those students were randomly selected from a school named Al-Ma’moun Primary School. The proposed program is based on extracurricular activities. The teacher was trained about the way of implementing the program. The program was implemented throughout the semester. Through using the Torrance test of creative thinking-figural, it was found that the proposed program has a statistically significant impact –at the statistical significance of (a=0.001)- on the students’ academic achievement and creativity. The researchers recommend adding enrichment activities to the curricula of primary school students in Kuwait.

The aim of this study was to compare the X-ray diagnosis with a non-invasive method for spine alignment assessment adopting a visual scan analysis with a plumb line and simetograph in middle-school students. The sample of this study was composed of 31 males and 50 females with an average age of 14.23 (± 3.11) years. The visual scan analysis was assessed at a school; whereas, the X-ray was performed in a hospital. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to assess the differences between methods and scoliosis classifications (non-accentuated <10º and scoliosis >10º), and the Kappa was used to assess the agreement between methods. The comparisons between the methods revealed non-significant differences (z = −0.577; p = 0.564), with almost perfect agreement between tests (K = 0.821; p < 0.001). Moreover, no statistical significance was observed between methods by the scoliosis classification (z = −1.000; p = 0.317), with almost perfect agreement between tests (K = 0.888; p < 0.001). This research supports the conclusion that there are no significant differences between the two methods. Therefore, it should be highlighted that this field test should be used by physical education teachers in their classes, or in a school context, in order to determine misalignments or scoliosis prevalence among middle-school students.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the rating assessment of the activity of a primary school student. The article analyzes modern systems for assessing the student's educational activity, identifies the advantages and disadvantages of the five-point control system. The transition from an evaluation-free system to an evaluation system is described in detail. The rating assessment technology was tested in a number of schools in Ulyanovsk (8 schools) and in the Ulyanovsk region (4 schools). The schoolchildren participating in the experiment were trained in classes of the same age, but according to different educational and methodological complexes. The breadth of the experimental base helped to test the effectiveness of our chosen approach to assessing primary school students. In addition, a survey was conducted of 20 primary school teachers regarding their viewpoint to the assessment system. Based on the survey, the authors revealed characteristic features of the rating control system and described in detail its advantages and disadvantages, as well as the prospects for use in primary grades. A pedagogical experiment has shown that the use of a rating assessment reduces psychological stress before assessment, which contributes to a more successful assimilation of curricula by students, an increase in the level of their knowledge, abilities and skills. The use of a rating assessment develops the logical creativity, thinking of the child, increases his interest in learning, and contributes to the development of his outlook. In addition to the obvious advantages, the rating control system has disadvantages. The survey participants emphasized that the shortcomings of the rating system for assessing the learning activity of primary school students are the lack of didactic material, as well as low stimulation of active learning activity throughout the school time. To overcome this shortcoming of the rating control system, it is advisable to use, together with rating assessment, personal-comparative pre-rating, aimed at fixing the dynamics of the student's personal development. In addition, the article discusses the features of the application of the rating assessment technology in the conditions of level differentiation and blended learning of younger students.
