The purpose of this research was to determine the optimal technological parameters for the purification of extraction phosphoric acid based on phosphorites of Central Kyzylkum from fluorine by precipitation with sodium salts. The influence of the norm of sodium silicate and the total norm of sodium carbonate and sodium metasilicate salts on the chemical composition and degree of precipitation of sodium silicofluoride was research. It is shown that the optimal norm of sodium metasilicate is the stoichiometric norm for binding fluorine present in the extraction phosphoric acid to silicofluoride and the total norm of sodium salts is 120-140%, the temperature is 70°C. Separation of the liquid and solid phases by settling is preferably carried out at a temperature of 30°C and a process duration of 120 minutes.

The paper investigates technological parameters of the quality of low-alkaloid lupin of five cultivars selected and grown in the Republic of Belarus during the years from 2007 to 2017. Prospects for the use of the obtained seeds have been studied. This study reveals great influence of cultivar and climatic conditions during growth of lupin seeds on correlation of anatomic parts in seeds as well as on their physical properties. Cultivar of lupin seeds Jan is recommended for whole grain flour and graded flour production based on its anatomic composition, uniformity and physical properties. A comparative analysis of chemical composition, quality parameters and technological properties of lupin flour has been done. The chemical composition of lupin flour, of whole grain lupin flour, in particular, has been found to be relatively low in starch, high in protein, food fibers, minerals and organic acids. As a result, whole grain lupin flour has been proved to have higher food value when compared to traditional wheat flour. This paper demonstrates the difference between lupin flour characteristics and those of wheat flour in terms of color, acidity, enzymatic activity and adsorbing properties. This study reveals the possibility of use of lupin flour in bakery products by substituting traditional types of flour with lupin flour at 10-30% levels, as well as by replacing egg products with lupin flour at 25-50% levels. The work highlights the use of lupin flour at the stages of dough kneading, dough preparation, foam and emulsion production mainly by using rapid dough making methods.Practical applicationsRecommendations have been made on the usage of lupin flour in the technological process of bakery products manufacturing, macaroni and flour confectionery products production.

In the paper, a model basing on solute conservative in every unit is developed for solving the solute diffusion equation during solidification. The model includes time-dependent calculations for temperature distribution, solute redistribution in the liquid and solid phases. Three-dimensional computations are performed for Al-Cu dendritic growth into an adiabatic and highly supersaturated liquid phase. A numerical algorithm was developed to explicitly track the sharp solid/liquid (S/L) interface on a fixed Cartesian grid. Three-dimensional mesoscopic calculations were performed to simulate the evolution of equiaxed dendritic morphologies.

When apatites and phosphorites are processed, up to 30% of rare earth metals are converted into wet-process phosphoric acid. Wet-process phosphoric acid from the phosphorite treatment process differs from apatite one by impurity composition, i.e. the iron content is by 3.5 times, and calcium is by 5.0 times more. The complex composition of the wet-process phosphoric acid from the phosphorite treatment process requires additional researches to select optimal ion exchangers and technological parameters of sorption. Various aspects of sorption have been studied to select the optimal ion exchangers and technological parameters, and technological modes for desorption of rare earth metals from a cation exchanger to obtain a concentrate of rare earth metals have been completed. The method enables to extract rare earth metals without changing the composition of commercial wet-process phosphoric acid directly in the production process of the enterprises engaged in the phosphorite treatment process.

Experimental research of the kinetics of the decomposition process of Kovdorsky apatite with a size = 0.16 mm with sulfuric acid in a 1 dm3 batch reactor. Phosphoric acid with the concentration of 68.6 % wt and the sulfuric acid with the concentration of 12.3% wt in stoichiometric amount was introduces at the beginning of the process. The process was carried out at a ratio of liquid and solid phases 2.5:1 respectively at the boiling point of the mixture equal to 136 °C. The observing the progress was carried out according to the method of joint designation of sulfuric and phosphoric acids by titrimetric analysis. With methyl orange and then phenolphthalein 2 titration jumps were recorded, the first of which corresponded to the neutralization of sulfuric acid to Na2SO4 and phosphoric acid to NaH2PO4, the second to the neutralization of NaH2PO4 to Na2HPO4. The change in temperature of the reaction mixture was fixed during the process using a mercury thermometer. In the analysis of the derived experimental values of specified parameters that the boiling point decreases from 136 to 133.1 оС within 50 minutes during the process. A comparison of the reported values with the concentration values of sulfuric and phosphoric acids measured during the process shows that the change in boiling point of the reaction mixture is proportional to the change in the concentrations of sulfuric and phosphoric acids. This model is a closed system that provides thermal insulation and no loss of material balance. Thus, the kinetics of the decomposition of apatite with sulfuric acid at the boiling point can be monitored by the temperature change under specified conditions.

The environmental problems of the production of extraction phosphoric acid and the effect of fluorine on the human body are discussed in the article. The creation of the industry of phosphoric fertilizers on the basis of processing of fluorine-containing phosphate raw materials and fluorine-containing compounds, the development of their application require the study of environmental consequences arising from this, because fluorine is characterized by high mobility in the biological cycle of metabolism. For the purification of phosphoric acid from fluorine was used carbon adsorbents such as active charcoal brand BAU, natural graphite deposits Kyshtymsky, P514 soot, charcoal. Experiments on the purification was carried out on non-evaporated half-hydrated extraction phosphoric acid which was produced by joint stock company «Apatit» in Cherepovets city in Russia. The following analyses were carried out: IR-Fourier spectrometry, research of acid–base properties of carbon materials by potentiometric titration, potentiometric method of fluorine determination in extraction phosphoric acid. It is mentioned that the carbon black P514 is the most efficient adsorbent for purification of extraction phosphoric acid. The total number of functional groups on its surface is 0.62 mmol/g, the degree of purification from fluorine compounds is 94.8%.
