Aktivitas putar balik arah pada beberapa bukaan median yang tersedia di sepanjang ruas Jalan Letjen Hertasning disinyalir sebagai pemicu kemacetan lalu lintas sebab pergerakan ini dapat menghambat pergerakan kendaraan pada kedua arah lalu lintas saat kendaraan memerlukan ruang manuver tambahan untuk menyelesaikan gerakan putar balik arah secara penuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pergerakan putar balik arah terhadap kinerja ruas jalan pada Jalan Letjen Hertasning Kota Makassar. Survei lalu lintas dilakukan pada lima pos pengamatan yang dipilih pada lima bukaan median pertama Jalan Letjen Hertasning yang berbatasan langsung dengan Jl. AP Pettarani selama tiga hari untuk segmen jam puncak pagi, siang, dan sore hari. Kinerja ruas jalan dianalisis mengikuti prosedur pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antrian kendaraan saat bermanuver untuk memutar arah khususnya pada jam puncak setara dengan panjang 9 kendaraan atau sepanjang 36 m. Antrian ini menyebabkan kapasitas ruas jalan berkurang sebesar 2,5-10% dari kapasitas sesungguhnya yang menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan kecepatan, peningkatan derajat kejenuhan, dan penurunan tingkat pelayanan ruas jalan Letjen Hertasning. The U-turn movement activities at several median openings available along the Letjen Hertasning road arguably is one of the triggering factors for the occurrence of traffic congestion on that road section because this movement creates hindrances to traffic flow in the same lane and the contra flow when the vehicle requires additional space to complete the movement. The purpose of this study is to reveal the consequence caused by the U-turn movement to the traffic performance of Letjen Hertasning road in Makassar City. The traffic surveys were conducted at five selected observation points at the first five median openings of Jalan Letjen Hertasning which is directly adjacent to Jl. AP Pettarani for three days at three peak hours segment which are in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The analysis of road performance follows the procedures in the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual. Research result shown that the length of vehicles queuing to finish the U-turn movement during the peak hours reached 9 vehicles with a queue length of 36 m. This queue causes the capacity of the road to decrease by 2.5-10% of the actual capacity which causes a decrease in speed, an increase in the degree of saturation, and a reduction in the level of service of the road.

This research was conducted to determine the peak traffic volume, road capacity, degree of saturation, analyze traffic performance, find out the prediction of the next 5 years, and to evaluate the traffic performance around the Hypermart shopping center that occurs in the real situation. The method used is by library research, looking for references from previous research and direct observation. The peak traffic volume is 1469 SMP / hour for the first location and 1104.4 SMP / hour for the second location. The capacity of the road section is 4699.73 SMP / hour. For the analysis of the degree of saturation of the first location of 0.31 SMP / hour and 0.23 SMP / hour in the second location. For the next 5 years prediction in that region, it is predicted to increase by 8.93% so that the volume of vehicles will rise to 2124.76 SMP / hour, and for the degree of saturation of 0.45, which means that the traffic service in this region is included in class C in 2024.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui volume puncak lalu lintas, kapasitas jalan,derajat kejenuhan,  menganalisis kinerja lalu lintas, mengetahui prediksi 5 tahun ke depan serta untuk mengevaluasi kinerja lalu lintas di sekitar pusat perbelanjaan Hypermart yang terjadi disituasi rill. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan cara studi pustaka, mencari referensi dari penelitian terdahulu serta melakukan observasi langsung. Volume puncak lalu lintas didapatkan nilai 1469 smp/jam untuk lokasi pertama dan 1104.4 smp/jam untuk lokasi kedua.Kapasitas ruas jalan sebesar 4699.73 smp/jam.Untuk analisa derajat kejenuhan lokasi pertama sebesar 0.31 smp/jam dan 0.23 smp/jam pada lokasi kedua.Untuk prediksi 5 tahun kedepan pada wilayah tersebut diprediksi akan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 8.93% sehingga volume kendaraan akan naik menjadi 2124.76 smp/jam, dan untuk nilai derajat kejenuhan sebesar 0.45 yang artinya pelayanan lalu lintas wilayah ini termasuk ke dalam kelas C pada tahun 2024.

Traffic performance have been measured based on degree of saturation, velocity, travel time, and delays. However, they weren’t enough to measure the traffic fluctuation that happen on normal days. This study aims to develop some modified analysis about traffic congestion based on the degree of saturation (DS) and travel time ratio (TTR). The travel time ratio is defined as a ratio between the travel time at peak hour and the travel time at off-peak hour in a certain road section. Traffic congestion conditions are classified into 4 categories: Peak-hour Congestion, Lengthy Congestion, Momentary Congestion, and Smooth Traffic. Based on survey results on road sections in Palembang, Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Surakarta, it can be concluded that peak-hour congestion occurs when TTR > 1,40 and DS > 0,75, lengthy congestion occurs when TTR < 1,40 and DS > 0,75, momentary congestion occurs when TTR > 1,40 and DS < 0,75, and smooth traffic when TTR < 1,40 and DS < 0,75.

Along with the increasing number of the population of Sidoarjo, this has an i mpact on traffic volume, it occurs on the road of Gedangan roads to Buduran, therefore carried out the transfer of road access to the East Ring Road with specialized for heavy vehicles, due to the transfer of the road, it is necessary to perform the analysis of the East circumference road performance. The research aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of heavy vehicle volumes on the road performance of the East Ring road. The performance Of the east circumference traffic by counting the Level Of Service (LOS) and calculating the volume Of the vehicle compared to the road capacity (degree Of saturation). Traffic volume Data surveyed for 2 days (6 and 10 August 2020), for 6 hours per day at 06.00 – 08.00, 12.00 – 14.00, and 16.00 – 18.00. The analysis of road performance is using the Manual road Capacity (MKJI) method with a degree of saturation (DS) as the main indicator of road performance. The results of the analysis showed the performance of the road on the condition of the excitation point 1 the value of saturation of 0.61 and in point 2 of the value of saturation 0.97 and the result of service level of roadway 1 is C (steady current speed and motion-controlled vehicles) and in point 2 is E (current unstable speed sometimes stalled close request of capacity).

Klampis Jaya Road, Surabaya City, has a fairly heavy traffic flow, especially during working hours. This resulted in congestion on Klampis Jaya Road and not a few motorists who violated traffic regulations such as turning around Mleto Road. This study aimed to determine the current traffic flow performance and in 2024 at the intersection on Klampis Jaya Road, Surabaya City, predicted the traffic flow performance around the road and intersection on Klampis Jaya Road Surabaya City. The research method used was non-signalized intersection analysis using the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual. The calculation of the traffic performance of the four intersections in Klampis Jaya showed the Degree of Saturation (DS) and Service Level (TP) of each intersection. Traffic performance for the four intersections in 2021 was DS = 0.752 and TP = C (Enough), with the characteristics of stable traffic flow, was restricted movement. The traffic performance for the four intersections in 2024 was DS = 0.95 and TP = D (Less), with the characteristics of traffic flow stable movement being limited.

Abstract The Meulaboh - Tapak Tuan road is the main access road linking several districts, Aceh Barat, Aceh Barat Daya, Aceh Selatan, and Aceh Tengah. After the earthquake and tsunami hit Aceh, its economies experienced rapid growth. This greatly influences the distribution of traffic volume on specific road segments, including the increasingly congested Meulaboh - Tapak Tuan roads. As a result, the number of private vehicles is increasing. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the performance of roads in the area based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual, as well as to analyze the level of road services at present and in the future. The analysis of the road performance can be measure by several indicators such as traffic flow (Q), capacity (C), degree of saturation (DS), free flow velocity (FV), and level of service on the road section. The calculations were obtained from 3 days direct observation in the field from 07:00 to 19:00 with Monday and Thursday representing workdays and Saturday representing weekend. The highest conversion value of traffic flow in 2020 was 1357 pcu/hour for (Q), 2654 pcu/hour for the actual capacity value (C), and 0.51 for the degree of saturation (DS). The analysis results show that the degree of saturation < 0.75. According to Marga (1997), it is considered in good condition with smooth traffic flow at the service level of C. The road performance analysis for the next five years for traffic flow was 2093 pcu/hour for Q and 0.79 for the degree of saturation (DS). The service level is categorized as level D. It is necessary to find solutions and alternatives to reduce the degree of saturation (DS) value by increasing the value of capacity. Pasca gempa dan tsunami menerjang, pertumbuhan ekonomi pada Provinsi Aceh mengalami kemajuan yang cukup pesat. Hal ini sangat mempengaruhi penyebaran volume lalu lintas pada ruas-ruas jalan tertentu termasuk ruas jalan lintas Meulaboh – Tapak Tuan semakin padat. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan evaluasi kinerja terhadap ruas jalan pada kawasan tersebut berdasarkan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia, dan menganalisis tingkat pelayanan jalan pada saat ini maupun di masa yang akan datang. Dalam menganalisis kinerja ruas jalan indikator kinerja yang dibutuhkan yaitu arus lalu lintas (Q), kapasitas (C), derajat Kejenuhan (DS), Kecepatan arus bebas (FV) dan tingkat pelayanan pada raus jalan tersebut. Hasil perhitungan yang di dapat selama 3 hari pengamatan langsung di lapangan dari pukul 07.00-19.00 wib yaitu hari senin dan kamis mewakili hari kerja, hari sabtu mewakili hari libur. Didapat nilai konversi tertinggi arus lalu lintas pada Tahun 2020 (Q) sebesar 1357 smp/jam, nilai kapasitas aktual (C) sebesar 2654 smp/jam, derajat kejenuhan (DS) sebesar 0,51. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat derajat kejenuhan < 0,75 (Marga, 1997) dianggap dalam kondisi baik, arus stabil, kecepatan dipengaruhi oleh lalu lintas dengan tingkat pelayanan C. Perhitungan analisis kinerja jalan pada 5 tahun mendatang yaitu untuk arus lalu lintas Tahun 2025 (Q) sebesar 2093 smp/jam derajat kejenuhan (DS) sebesar 0,79 tingkat pelayanannya dikategorikan tingkat D. Hal tersebut dapat dicari solusi terbaik sehingga dapat menurunkan nilai derajat kejenuhan (DS) dengan cara meningkatkan nilai kapasitas. Nowadays, the development of road capacity and vehicle quantity and the lack of optimal traffic infrastructure operations are the main problems in the Nambak-Ngulungkulon Craken-Ngulungkulon road section. This road is the object of observation because the road is an integrated system of the Nambak-Ngulungkulon Craken-Ngulungkulon road network. It is necessary to analyze how the performance and the thickness of the flexible pavement layer needed. To analyze road performance and calculate pavement thickness, the writer uses the Bina Marga 2017 method with ACL material at STA 0.00 - 13,345. The results of the analysis and calculation for the geometric planning of the Nambak-Ngulungkulon  Craken-Ngulungkulon road section obtained the value of surface course with the 2017 Bina Marga method of 13 cm. Overlay work on the planning age is carried out in the 15 the year with an additional layer thickness with the Bina Marga 2017 method of 3 cm. And the traffic growth rate increased by 28.65% for 10 years y.a.d.Saat ini pengembangan kapasitas jalan dan kuantitas kendaraan dan kurangnya operasi infrastruktur lalu lintas yang optimal adalah masalah utama di ruas jalan Nambak-Ngulungkulon Craken-Ngulungkulon. Jalan ini adalah objek pengamatan karena jalan tersebut merupakan sistem yang terintegrasi dari jaringan jalan Nambak-Ngulungkulon Craken-Ngulungkulon. Perlu untuk menganalisis bagaimana kinerja dan ketebalan lapisan perkerasan lentur yang dibutuhkan. Untuk menganalisis kinerja jalan dan menghitung tebal perkerasan, penulis menggunakan metode Bina Marga 2017 dengan material ACL di STA 0,00 - 13,345. Hasil analisis dan perhitungan untuk perencanaan geometrik ruas jalan Nambak-Ngulungkulon Craken-Ngulungkulon diperoleh nilai permukaan jalan dengan metode Bina Marga 2017 13 cm. Pekerjaan overlay pada usia perencanaan dilakukan pada tahun ke-15 dengan tambahan ketebalan lapisan dengan metode Bina Marga 2017 3 cm. Dan tingkat pertumbuhan lalu lintas meningkat sebesar 28,65% selama 10 tahun y.a.d.

ABSTRACT The Pacitan-Ngadirojo road section is one of the East Java Province Roads located in Pacitan District, which includes cross-district roads. The condition of the Pacitan-Ngadirojo road segment is generally a flat road that has several bends, inclines and derivatives along the link. Passing through a number of sub-districts and villages in the Pacitan Regency area which has right and left sides, there are settlements, agricultural land, plantations, gardens, rice fields, and traditional shopping places.To analyze road performance, the writer uses the method Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI, 1997), while to calculate the thickness of road pavement, we use the method Bina Marga (1987).From the results of the road performance analysis, data were obtained as follows: Degree of Saturation (DS) on the Pacitan-Ngadirojo road segment beginning in 2011 amounted to 0.047 while the performance analysis for the next 10 years obtained a DS of 0,078. This means that the level of road services on the road segment has not yet taken into account traffic actions or management, which in this case is road widening.For the calculation of pavement thickness with the Bina Marga Method the flexible pavement thickness on the Pacitan-Ngadirojo road section is 7,5 cm. Key words : Road Improvement Planing, Pavement Thickness, Degree of Saturation

This research contains an analysis of the traffic performance by dint of on-street parking, afterward the results are compared with the traffic performance if a scenario is made that there is no on-street parking activity. The purposes of this research are to determine the impact of on-street parking to road performance also to perceive the road level of service. The method used in this research is a quantitive method by direct field research. The results of this research are on-street parking activity around Jaya Ciracas Market affected the traffic performance with a difference in road capacity about 39,03%. The value of the road level of service when there is on-street parking activity is D, while when on-street parking is abolished, the road level of service can increase to C.

The equivalent value of light vehicles (elv) is influenced by the size and speed of the vehicle, the greater the vehicle the equivalent value of light vehicles (elv) the higher, the higher the vehicle speed the equivalent value of light vehicles (elv) will be lower. The purpose of this study is to determine the equivalent value of light vehicles (elv) for motor tricycles vehicle (mtv) as part of the traffic and the performance of the Arif Rahman Hakim Road and Gorontalo City Manggis Road. The location of the study was conducted on Jalan Arif Rahman Hakim and Manggis Street. Primary data collected is data of traffic flow volume. The analysis was carried out using the simple linear regression analysis method and the 2014 Indonesian road capacity guidelines. From the calculation results obtained an equivalent value of light vehicles (elv) for motor  tricycles vehicle (mtv) on the Arif Rahman Hakim Road section of 0.55 and on the Manggis Road section obtained an equivalent value of light vehicles (elv) of 0.46. Then do the calculations to analyze the performance of the Arif Rahman Hakim and Manggis Roads obtained the degree of saturation (DS) <0.85. The DS scores show that both locations are very suitable to serve the flow of traffic during peak hours.Keywords—elv, motor tricycles vehicle , linear regression, road performance

The position of Ki Hadjar Dewantara road is strategic location, where as an education center, office and residential center are often happened to increase in vehicle volume, especially during peak hour, consequently, this condition makes congestion on this road. There are ideas for road widening, moved side barriers and one.way traffic management, which are purposing to know traffic performance currently and generating a recommendation of traffic systems. By observations on traffic surveys were carried out on the road at 06.00 to 18.00 WIT. Traffic performance analysis is based on the 1997 Indonesia Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). The results of the Ki Hajar Dewantara road analysis showed a high level of side resistance with a value of degree of saturation (DS) in segment 1, which was 0.78, free flow speed of 31.2 km / hour, road capacity of 1953 pcu / hour. Furthermore, as an alternative solution the application of a one way system on the road section that showed a better performance with DS = 0.32 for west to east and DS = 0.22 east to west with a service level B category with stable current, speed slightly limited by traffic, the driver has enough freedom to choose a speed. The design for implementing this one-way system is good for solving problems.
