Abstract Bell is certainly no stranger to education. In general, the bell still uses human power to ring it. It is still rare in the world of education to use an automatic bell that can work alone according to a predetermined time in the teaching and learning process. The purpose of the design of automatic bells at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar is to facilitate the work of picket officers and optimize the time for teaching and learning. The work process of this tool is to input the predetermined lesson time into the Arduino Uno Microcontroller using C language in the Arduino IDE Software. After that the microcontroller will read the program schedule hours that have been inputted into the microcontroller. If the program inputted matches the time schedule of today's lesson hours, the bell will automatically output the output in the form of an information notification sound. This tool also has a 16x2 Keypad Shield for setting the manual in the test mode that is matched in the time of the ongoing test and automatically produces notification sound output, where the automatic bell is fully controlled with the Arduino Uno Microcontroller command and the time setting that has been set into the RTC ( Real Time Clock) as a time saver.   Keywords: Arduino Uno, RTC, Keypad Shield 16x2, STIKOM Tunas Bangsa

AbstractNowadays, the innovation and production of prayer seats can widely be seen around the world particularly in a nation or region with a majority of Muslim population. Demands on this assistive device are everywhere in order to ease and help disabled Muslims to conduct their daily prayers. Most of the existing devices consist of basic systems and sometimes do not accurately meet disabled Muslims’ requirement. The main objective of this research is to design and develop a Solah chair using electronic sensor to assist disabled Muslims to perform Solah and other ritual activities comfortably. This research uses four types of electrical and electronic systems namely the ultrasonic system, DF player system, counter system and IR sensor system to assist disabled Muslims to perform Solah and other ritual activities such as zikir and listening to Quran recitation. Arduino Uno is used to integrate these four subsystems. Arduino as the main micro-controller for this system is chosen for its convenience and capabilities to read and run C-language. It is also a simple platform which is suitable for many IT projects in general.

The subject of alignment is not new to the world of education. Today however, it has come to mean different things and to have a heuristic value in education according to research in different areas, not least for neuroscience, and to attention to skills and to the alternation framework. This paper, after looking at the classic references that already attributed an important role to alignment in education processes, looks at the strategic role of alignment in the current context, outlining the shared construction processes and focusing on some of the ways in which this is put into effect.Alignment is part of a participatory, enactive approach that gives a central role to the interaction between teaching and learning, avoiding the limits of behaviourism, which has a greater bias towards teaching, and cognitivism/constructivism, which focus their attention on learning and in any case, on that which separates a teacher preparing the environment and a student working in it.

Palabra clave: Pedagogía, Administración, Éxito universitarioABSTRACT When reading the measurements made in the world of college performances, it is remarkable, questionable and unpleasant that only a Public University ranks 900 in the world and 30th in Latin America, the others are listed neither the post 1500 globally nor 75 in Latin America. Something is happening to the Peruvian university system that does not stand any comparison with its counterparts in the region or the world. Facing the reality that rankings show repeatedly, it will not be intemperate to accept that   global university requires rigorous  effort and variables: • High quality contents that impact daily life.• Flexibility to select and deepen knowledge.• Easy and unlimited access to information.• Many simulation and interactivity with the real environment.• Well recognized and prestigious teachers.• Entrepreneurship promotion and creative view.• Widespread social networks worldwide.• Significant support of information technology and communication.• Endeavour and tutoring to student.• Research linked to national and local development.• Permanent linking mechanisms with graduated students.• Existence of an advisory body of the productive world.•  Consistent administrative support.• Quality of  the results accreditation. In that scenario, the Public University System must change and, in the new form of performance that is demanded, assuming some changes and having a real harmony between pedagogy and administration, will emerge the success it deserves, as both have to start nurturing and supporting for the teaching and learning process . Keyword: Pedagogy, Management,  College Success

This chapter aligns the tenets of critical pedagogy with current practices of assessment in the United States. The author posits that critical pedagogy is an appropriate lens through which to view assessment, and argues against the hegemonic practices that support marginalization of students. Grounded in critical theory and based on Marxist ideals, the content supports the notion of teaching and learning as a partnership where the desire to empower and transform the learner, and open possibilities for the learner to view the world and themselves in that world, are primary goals. Political mandates to evaluate teacher performance and student learning are presented and discussed. In addition to the formative and summative assessments that teachers routinely do to students, the author suggests integrative assessment, where students with the teacher reflect together on the learning experience and its outcomes. The chapter includes specific examples from the author’s own teaching that operationalize the ideas presented.

Teaching and learning process is an integral in the achievement of human resources who have the skills in the field in accordance with the goals of a college. Students who undergo the study other than he get the knowledge in the field that he studied, will also be given the learning experience given the task by the lecturer supervisor of the course and then the results are feasible for the percentage of campus forums with tools and complete electronic media. Nowadays, the percentage becomes the obstacle by students to get the perfect score, because the percentage is related to the presentation slide which is interesting and easy to understand by the audience. The percentage slide also becomes an assessment at the moment of presentation in front of the class forum, the student is not yet understand how to make an interesting and effective presentation so that the idea is well conveyed. In addition, students also difficult to make a presentation with a combination of images and writing because it has not got the skills to design the slide so much the results of the presentation of what is with a fairly satisfactory percentage value. In today's digital age, it can be said that any profession of someone in the world of organization, both business world and academic world can not be separated from the necessity to do the exposure to explain the purpose of a problem or information. The human-centric nature of environmental thinking is a highly successful adaptation, which has biological, historical, cultural origins. The dichotomy of anthropocentrism and ecocentrism are what ultimately determine ecological attitudes. This nationally representative study presents how students in Hungarian environmental education bachelor programs view the human’s taxonomic position in the world (hierarchies, kinship), throughout evolution (determining possible directions, distancing from other organisms), the role of human power, and our rights of intervention in the environment. It shows what kind of knowledge students arrive with from public education, how they think about handling confl icts, and what impact their acquired knowledge during university years has on their environmental attitudes. It was found that at least two-thirds of students evaluated natural environmental processes, problemsand their consequences with anthropocentric preferences – in contrast to scientifi cally accepted theses.

Abstract In education, several terms such as strategy, approach, model and method are often used to describe the teaching and learning situation. And these terms are often inconsistent and often overlapping occurs in their use. To differentiate  and clarify each of these terms, it needs to be reviewed and discussed contextually and comprehensively. This needs to be done in order to avoid confusion and misunderstanding the meaning of each of these terms. This paper will specifically try to describe the four terms because the four terms are most widely used and referred to by practitioners in the field of education. Clarification of these terms will help to explain the ambiguity of understanding meaning in the world of education and literacy.
