ResumoEste artigo analisa o processo de expansão urbana recente em Altamira – PA, de modo a verificar as novas tendências de crescimento a partir da instalação da usina hidrelétrica de Belo Monte. São utilizados como bases teóricas os conceitos ligados à morfologia urbana e à produção social do espaço urbano. A expansão urbana recente se constitui a partir de fatores articulados ao processo de instalação da usina hidrelétrica, onde se verifica um crescimento acelerado da malha urbana em várias direções, respeitando o sentido das vias estruturantes. Tal crescimento chega a ultrapassar 50% e se dá a partir de novas instalações urbanas para habitação e uso coletivo, públicas e privadas, que alteram o desenho da cidade, sua paisagem e estrutura urbana. Nesse novo cenário, cabe destaque ao papel dos agentes imobiliários e do poder público, bem como da empresa Norte Energia S.A como indutora de processos e agente ordenador do território.Palavras Chave: Expansão urbana, morfologia, Altamira, Belo Monte.  AbstractThis article analyzes the process of recent urban expansion in Altamira, Pará State, in order to check for new growth trends after the implementation of the hydroelectric plant of Belo Monte. The concepts related to urban morphology and social production of urban space are used as theoretical basis to this study. The recent urban expansion is composed by factors related to the hydroelectric plant implementation process, which shows a rapid growth of the urban mesh in several directions, respecting the way of structuring roads. Such growth exceeds 50% and it happens by means of public and private new urban facilities for housing and collective use that alter the design of the city, its landscape and urban infrastructure. In this new scenario, it is highlighted the real estate agents’, government’s, and  Norte Energia corporation’s roles, being the former one considered an originator territory agent and responsible for  inducing this processes.Keywords: urban expansion, morphology, Altamira, Belo Monte.  ResumenEn este artículo se analiza el proceso de reciente expansión urbana en Altamira-PA, con el fin de comprobar si hay nuevas tendencias de crecimiento después de la instalación de la central hidroeléctrica de Belo Monte. Se utilizan como base teórica los conceptos relacionados con la morfología urbana y la producción social del espacio urbano. La reciente expansión urbana se constituye a partir de factores relacionados con el proceso de instalación de la planta hidroeléctrica, donde hay un rápido crecimiento de la red urbana en varias direcciones, respetando el modo de estructuración de las carreteras. Este crecimiento es superior al 50% y se produce a partir de nuevos equipamientos urbanos para viviendas y uso colectivo, públicos y privados, que alteren el diseño de la ciudad, su paisaje y la estructura urbana . En este nuevo escenario, hay que destacar el papel de los agentes de bienes raíces, el gobierno y también del Norte Energia S.A , que induce procesos y articula el territorio .Palavras Chave: expansión urbana, morfología, Altamira, Belo Monte.

The Turkish economy faced its worst financial crisis in 2001. The crisis started in the public sector and soon spread into the financial sector and finally led to major problems in the real estate sector. Following this crisis, which caused many banks to shut down and go into bankruptcy, many reforms took place. Thanks to these reforms, the Turkish economy has been growing steadily since 2003, except for the year 2008, despite conflicts in the neighboring states, and fluctuations in the global energy prices. Turkey owes this success to public and private sector reform and regulation and to its decisiveness in the implementation process. This chapter aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the economic reform process in Turkey since the 2001 financial crisis as well as reflections of this reform process on the Turkish economy.

BELO MONTE HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT AND THE ROLE OF AGENTS IN RESTRUCTURING OF THE CITY OF ALTAMIRA-PAUSINA HIDROELÉCTRICA DE BELO MONTE Y EL PAPEL DE LOS AGENTES EN LA REESTRUCTURACIÓN DE LA CIUDAD DE ALTAMIRA-PARESUMOEste artigo tem como objetivo analisar o papel dos agentes produtores do espaço urbano na cidade de Altamira-PA após a instalação da Usina Hidrelétrica de Belo Monte. O trabalho se propõe a estudar as mudanças nas localizações dos espaços que compõem a cidade, como o centro urbano e novas áreas residenciais produzidas na periferia, resultando em um processo de reestruturação da cidade. Portanto, busca-se evidenciar como as empresas, o Estado, os agentes fundiários, os grupos imobiliários e a população excluída agem para a obtenção de seus objetivos. O método utilizado é o materialismo histórico e dialético e a fonte de dados foi obtida com base em trabalhos de campo, relatórios da Norte Energia S.A e fontes de organizações sociais como FVPP. Como resultados, evidencia-se o impacto da instalação desse empreendimento de grande porte em Altamira-PA, produzindo redefinições que estão baseadas na relação entre diferentes agentes públicos e privados. A reestruturação da cidade a partir da instalação da hidrelétrica gerou como consequência a expansão imobiliária e novas infraestruturas que pouco favorecem à população atingida e os mais pobres da cidade.Palavras-chave: Hidrelétrica de Belo Monte; Agentes Produtores do Espaço Urbano; Localizações Residenciais.ABSTRACTThis article aims to analyze the role of urban space producing agents in the city of Altamira-PA after the installation of the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Plant. The work aims to study the changes in the locations of the spaces that make up the city, such as the urban center and new residential areas produced in the periphery, resulting in a process of restructuring the city. Therefore, it seeks to show how companies, the State, land agents, real estate groups and the excluded population act to achieve their goals. The method used is historical and dialectical materialism and the data source was obtained based on fieldwork, reports by Norte Energia S.A and sources from social organizations such as FVPP. As a result, the impact of installing this large undertaking in Altamira-PA is evident, producing redefinitions that are based on the relationship between different public and private agents. The restructuring of the city after the installation of the Hydroelectric Power Plant resulted in the expansion of real estate and new infrastructures that do little to favor the affected population and the poorest population of the city.Keywords: Belo Monte Hydroelectric; Urban Space Producing Agents; Residential Locations.RESUMENEste artículo tiene como objetivo analizar el papel de los agentes productores de espacio urbano en la ciudad de Altamira-PA tras la instalación de la Central Hidroeléctrica de Belo Monte. El trabajo tiene como objetivo estudiar los cambios en la ubicación de los espacios que componen la ciudad, como el centro urbano y las nuevas áreas residenciales que se producen en la periferia, resultando en un proceso de reestructuración de la ciudad. Por ello, busca mostrar cómo las empresas, el Estado, los agentes inmobiliarios, los grupos inmobiliarios y la población excluida actúan para lograr sus objetivos. El método utilizado es el materialismo histórico y dialéctico y la fuente de datos se obtuvo en base a trabajo de campo, informes de Norte Energia S.A y fuentes de organizaciones sociales como FVPP. Como resultado, el impacto de la instalación de este gran emprendimiento en Altamira-PA es evidente, produciendo redefiniciones que se basan en la relación entre diferentes agentes públicos y privados. Resumo: Renda fundiária urbana é uma categoria pouco explorada pela maioria dos estudos mais recentes sobre o urbano. Porém, essa categoria oferece uma possibilidade de abordagem do urbano que permite a análise de fenômenos importantes, como a hierarquização dos usos do solo, o papel do setor imobiliário para a acumulação do capital e para a reprodução das relações de produção capitalistas, além de ser importante para o entendimento do processo de segregação sócio-espacial e fragmentação do espaço no urbano. Assim, levando-se em consideração os estudos passados e as dificuldades que ainda hoje permanecem, a questão da renda fundiária é retomada no presente artigo. Como forma de viabilização da análise da questão da renda fundiária urbana foi realizado um estudo de caso sobre uma modalidade de intervenção no urbano por parte do setor imobiliário em aliança com o mercado financeiro no município de São Paulo: os Fundos de Investimento Imobiliário e a Securitização de Recebíveis Imobiliários.  THE URBAN LAND RENT: A CATEGORY OF ANALYSIS STILL VALID Abstract: Urban land rent is a category little explored by most recent urban studies. However, this category offers a possible approach for urban space that allows the analysis of relevant phenomena, like hierarchy in land use, the role of the real estate industry for capital accumulation and for reproduction of relationships in capitalist production, besides its importance in understanding the socio-spatial segregation and fragmentation process. In this sense, taking into account earlier studies and difficulties that still remain, this article aims to analyse the problem of land rent. To make this analysis possible, we present a case study about a kind of urban intervention by real estate agents in association with the finance market in the city of São Paulo: Real Estate Investment Funds and Real Estate Bonus. Abstract Background Effective implementation processes play a central role in health care organizations and affect the care of patients. Managers are pivotal in facilitating the use of new practices, but their experience and how it affects the implementation outcome are still largely unknown. In the field of disability health care in particular, managers experiences have scarcely been investigated. Therefore, the aim of this study is to explore managers’ experiences of the implementation process when transferring new practices into disability health care settings. Methods Semi-structured individual telephone interviews were conducted with managers at disability health care organizations in four administrative regions in central Sweden. A total of 23 managers with formal managerial responsibility from both public and private health care were strategically selected to be interviewed. The interviews were analysed using reflexive thematic analysis with an inductive approach. Results The analysis resulted in two themes about factors influencing the implementation process: firstly, Contextual factors set the agenda for what can be achieved, which highlighted aspects that hinder or enable the implementation process, such as internal and external conditions, the workplace culture, the employees and managers’ attitudes and openness to change: secondly, Leadership in the winds of change, which described the challenges of balancing managerial tasks with leading the change, and the importance of a leadership that involves the participation of the employees. Conclusions This study explored how and to what extent managers address and manage the implementation process and the many associated challenges. The findings highlight the importance of leadership support and organizational structure in order to transfer new practices into the work setting, and to encourage an organizational culture for leading change that promotes positive outcomes. We suggest that identifying strategies by focusing on contextual factors and on aspects of leadership will facilitate implementation processes. The scope and coverage of the Brazilian Immunization Program can be compared with those in developed countries because it provides a large number of vaccines and has a considerable coverage. The increasing complexity of the program brings challenges regarding its development, high coverage levels, access equality, and safety. The Immunization Information System, with nominal data, is an innovative tool that can more accurately monitor these indicators and allows the evaluation of the impact of new vaccination strategies. The main difficulties for such a system are in its implementation process, training of professionals, mastering its use, its constant maintenance needs and ensuring the information contained remain confidential. Therefore, encouraging the development of this tool should be part of public health policies and should also be involved in the three spheres of government as well as the public and private vaccination services.

Eduard Herriot 98. 06200 Nice E-mail: [email protected], [email protected] Keywords: French Riviera, Urban Fabrics, Urban Form Recognition, Geoprocessing Conference topics and scale: Tools of analysis in urban morphology     Recent metropolitan growth produces new kinds of urban fabric, revealing different logics in the organization of urban space, but coexisting with more traditional urban fabrics in central cities and older suburbs. Having an overall view of the spatial patterns of urban fabrics in a vast metropolitan area is paramount for understanding the emerging spatial organization of the contemporary metropolis. The French Riviera is a polycentric metropolitan area of more than 1200 km2 structured around the old coastal cities of Nice, Cannes, Antibes and Monaco. XIX century and early XX century urban growth is now complemented by modern developments and more recent suburban areas. A large-scale analysis of urban fabrics can only be carried out through a new geoprocessing protocol, combining indicators of spatial relations within urban fabrics, geo-statistical analysis and Bayesian data-mining. Applied to the French Riviera, nine families of urban fabrics are identified and correlated to the historical periods of their production. Central cities are thus characterized by the combination of different families of pre-modern, dense, continuous built-up fabrics, as well as by modern discontinuous forms. More interestingly, fringe-belts in Nice and Cannes, as well as the techno-park of Sophia-Antipolis, combine a spinal cord of connective artificial fabrics having sparse specialized buildings, with the already mentioned discontinuous fabrics of modern urbanism. Further forms are identified in the suburban and “rurban” spaces around central cities. The proposed geoprocessing procedure is not intended to supersede traditional expert-base analysis of urban fabric. Rather, it should be considered as a complementary tool for large urban space analysis and as an input for studying urban form relation to socioeconomic phenomena.
