Purpose: The purpose of this study is to check the impact of technological advancement on employee performance in banking sector.Methodology: This paper was completed with the help of extensive literature on technological advancement and employee performance available on the databases and websites. Primary data has been used in this paper to check the impact of technological advancement on employee performance. SPSS 16 software package is used to analyze the employee responses and statistical technique Regression analysis is used to check the impact of technological advancement on employee performance.Findings: Total of 140 questionnaires has been distributed among different banks and out of which 100 were get completed and returned. After analyzing the data very efficiently, we find that technological advancement has significant impact on motivation and training of employees. Motivation has significant impact on employee performance but training has no significant impact on employee performance. Moreover as the concerned for technological advancement and employee performance, there is significant relationship among them.Research limitations / Implications: More research will be require on this theory “impact of technological advancement on employee performance in banking sector”

In the present world, smartphones play an important role in the daily life of people. Technological advancement has made smartphones as devices where mobile users can make money transactions or payment by using applications installed on the smartphone. It’s no secret that people today are digital natives. In this technology-driven society, paying for a cappuccino using a pay-and-go method or buying a sweatshirt with a one-click model, has become the norm. Backing away from cash, they drive innovation in the digital payments industry. That’s the reason digital-driven payments become one of the trends ripe in this digital push era.The research is an attempt at analyzing the impact of demographic factors on consumer selection of the mode of payment along with an understanding of what people think about the idea of paying online and up to what extent they find it more convenient. It is also about knowing factors that affect the consumer’s decision to adopt mobile wallets and various risks and challenges faced by the users of the mobile wallet. An extensive literature review is also done and a lot of information is collected from different sources. In this research, the primary data is collected from the people of the National Capital Region. For this research, the convenience sampling method and snowball sampling method of non-probability sampling is used. The tool used for the collection of data and making of questionnaires is google forms and data is collected from 215 respondents. For tabulation and analysis of data, analytical tools like Microsoft Excel and SPSS is used.

Employee performance has a huge effect on success of modern organization. Employees are considered as backbone for any organization that cannot be emulated from the competition, therefore employee performance should be considered major valuable resource. This study has focused on the banking sector where employees’ performance having huge impact on organization. For this purpose, we chose two banks from Pakistan for acquisition, one is Bank Islami Pakistan Ltd and second KASB Bank were chosen, their acquisition took place on 8th of May 2015. In this study, the employees’ performance was examined on the bases of few factors like an organizational cultural change, communication between the acquirer and target bank, organizational change managed by the acquirer firm, and job satisfaction of both the acquirer and the target banks’ employees. We collected the Primary data by using the questionnaire methodology where we collected data from 200 respondents of both banks representing the overall population of the acquirer bank and target bank. The findings of this study were interpreted with the help of Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), which were used to find the impact of independent variables; cultural change, communication gap, organizational change and job satisfaction on dependent variable(s) which is employees’ performance. The outcome of our questionnaires data shows that proper management of independent variables can decrease the level of anxiety amongst employees, which affect the industry making a successful acquisition.

The banking industry has tremendous growth in Indian market .The entrance of new policies in banking sector has bought changes in employee performance. Retaining employees in private banks has lot of challenges. Employee retention and employee performance is a contemporary approach for the development of private banks. The private banks has initiated news ways to implement internal mobility policies to retain employees . This paper presents an novel employee internal mobility survey in the private banks in Mysore . The research study is based on the following criteria, internal mobility policies, employee satisfaction towards internal mobility, factors influencing employee satisfaction, internal mobility policies towards employees’ retention. The target population for the study is employees of private banks .Required analysis will be done to measure the impact of internal mobility on employee performance. The current study focuses on impact of internal mobility on employee performance in the organization, and also the factors which has impact on internal mobility policies on employee performance. <em>Organizational learning has the potential to improve organizational performance. For any organization to sustain long term benefits it requires to establish a mechanism to tap the knowledge and use this knowledge in taking future decisions. This study tries to capture the role of Organizational Learning and Employee Motivation and its impact on the Employees’ Performance. The study is exploratory and descriptive in nature. The questionnaire used for primary data collection has its items collected and derived from various standardized questionnaires available. The analysis of the primary data shows that there is a positive correlation between Organizational Learning and Organizational Performance. On understanding Herzberg theory of motivation the study came to conclusion that employees consider hygiene factors of motivation more significant than the motivator factors. The motivation level of employees in an organization has positive impact on the overall performance of any organization. The study helps the organizations to understand the relationship between learning and performance considering motivation as a mediating variable. </em>

The purpose of this research was to analyze the impact of Non-monetary rewards on employee job performance in private banking sector of Hyderabad Pakistan. The study focused on factors such as recognition, career development, flexible working schedule (independent variables) and employee performance (dependent variable). The relationship between dependent and independent variables are empirically verified through statistical methods. The statistical tests like reliability test and multiple regression statistics were used for data analysis. Primary method was adopted for the collection of data in the form of questionnaire. Total respondents were 50 that were physically contacted. In reliability test all variables (03 independent and one dependent variable) were found reliable with good and excellent remarks. The value of Beta indicated positive relationship with dependent variable i.e. employee performance. In multiple regression analysis, independent variables recognition, career development and flexible working schedule were found insignificant.

This study also aims to determine the major obstacles restraining banks marketing their products internationally through the Internet and to make recommendations conducive to an effective and optimal implementation of Internet applications for marketing bank products locally and internationally. The statistical software package SPSS was used to analyse data and test hypotheses and from the findings a series of recommendations were formulated for upgrading the banking industry in Jordan. A population frame included banking organisations in Jordan and a research sample of 19 banks was used involving an inclusive field survey. For the unit of analysis, the study analysed information and data gathered through the questionnaire which was distributed to managers and other personnel involved in marketing at banks. Statistical methods used to analyse data and test hypotheses were frequency rates and percentages relevant to the questionnaire, standard deviations and means, and multiple regression analysis. The key results from the statistical analysis have shown that the Jordanian banking sector’s adoption of the Internet has had an impact on the international clients’ commitment towards the banks.

BRAC provides microcredit to the landless and marginal borrowers to accelerate agribusiness activities in the rural areas. The prime objective of the study was to evaluate the impact of microcredit program on household income of the female borrowers of BRAC. Survey was conducted in the Gazipur district of Bangladesh. Primary data were collected from 417 borrowers who were engaged in agribusiness. Ordinary Least Square (OLS) technique was used to assess the impact of credit on household income. The study shows that the amount of microcredit received by the borrowers made a significant contribution in enhancing their household income. Besides credit, value of agricultural assets, compulsory saving, number of agribusiness pursued by household and training appeared as the key factors in determining income. The study also shows that non-institutional loan and operating cost of agribusiness adversely influenced the household income.

The aim of this paper is to assess the impact of donor-funded community empowerment projects on poverty alleviation in Zimbabwe. The primary data were collected from a questionnaire survey from 52 project members who were from two local ngos that were selected randomly. A semi-structured interview guide designed for two officials of the selected ngos implementing the projects was also used. The findings show that there is heavy dependence on outside funding, no adherence to the principles of the empowerment approach and a failure to positively impact the lives of the project members. This therefore calls for ngos to adopt better empowerment practices: community involvement in decision making, project ownership, and clear lines of communication with the ngos. However the findings also show the strength of linking project members with relevant institutions and training in order to ensure sustainability of community projects that may foster community empowerment towards poverty eradication.
