We refer, herewith, to our experience and case numbers in the application of EPSiT (Endoscopic Pilonidal Sinus Treatment) for the cure of fistulized pilonidal cists in paediatric patients. The EPSiT is a minimal invasive procedure, perfected in 2013 and applied on infants as of 2015. From 2018, we treated 19 patients in our Centre with ages ranging from 12 to 18. Our experience is in line with recent literature on the subject, regarding the advantages of this method with reference to minor discomfort in the post-operative phase, shorter hospitalization, recovery time and return to regular daily activities, health (hygiene/health), school, work and sport.

In this report, we present the early results of a new technique of laparoscopic appendectomy conducted through a single-port. Patients and Methods: From March 2011 to October 2013, we have performed 86 operations Single Port Laparoscopic Appendectomy at Hue University Hospital and Hue Central Hospital. SILS Port (Covidien) is used, it can be performed with basic laparoscopic instruments. Results: In this study, 86 patients underwent Single-Port laparoscopic appendectomy, among them 52.33% were femele, 47.67% were male, female/male ratio was 1.09. The mean age was 33.09. An orther trocar insertion was required in 2 patients (2.33%). The mean operation time was 42.03 minutes and mean postoperative hospital stay 3.37 days. Postoperative complication occurred in 2 case (2.33%) was of omphalitis. During 2 weeks follow up, 2 case (2.33%) was of omphalitis. The investigation was conducted In order to evaluate the objecitivily of the three ways of grading school work: classical way which is used most in schools, then grading with the help of "standard notebook" lor the grade "C" and the grading of work comparatively in pairs. The subject of evaluation was the school work of the third-graders in middle school. Subjects were history and biology, The independent graders were the teachers of these subjects from different middle schools. The results showed that all of these ways of grading do not ensure the same objectivity of grades. The least objective is the classical way, more reliable is one with "standard notebook" and relatively most reliable is the comparison of school work done in pairs.
