Background: Headache is the most common neurological symptom and is an important complication of cerebrospinal fluid access (CSF) techniques, reported by 1/3 of the patients after 48 hours of puncture. Objective: Present the most relevant information about the clinic and influential factors of headache after spinal anesthesia. Method: A literature review was conducted in pubmed, Scielo, Lilacs and Google academic databases, having as inclusion criteria articles of great relevance published in English, Portuguese and Spanish in the period 2016 to 2021 and exclusion criteria articles published outside that period. Results: Post-spinal anesthesia headache or post-dural puncture headache (DPC) belongs to the group of secondary headaches resulting from nonvascular disorders. The condition is composed of headache in the occipital and frontal region, which worsens in orthostatic position and may be accompanied by other symptoms such as neck stiffness, hearing disorders, photophobia, and nausea. The incidence of headache after the procedure varies according to the technique used, which can be medial or para - medial; more frequent in females; with the use of calibrated needles and in young patients. Regarding the recovery time, according to the reviewed literature, 72% of the patients had resolved the case within 7 days. Conclusion: Therefore, the correct performance of the procedure, with attention to modifiable factors, and the careful evaluation of clinical aspects for early diagnosis are essential to reduce the incidence and morbidity of this potentially disabling headache.

Grouted Semi-flexible Pavement (GSP) is a novel pavement composed of open-graded asphalt concrete grouted with high-fluidity cement mortar. Due to its excellent load-bearing and anti-rutting performance, it has great potential as anti-rutting overlay and surface in road construction. However, the understanding of GSP performance remains limited and pertinent findings are inconsistent. This article aims to provide a systematic literature review for the articles which were published between 2000 and 2020 on GSP, explore the problems in the recent research, identify knowledge gaps, and deliver recommendations for future research. The influential factors and the relative evaluation methods of GSP performance are summarized and discussed in this article.

This manuscript represents a literature review on evaluation mode of perforating vein incompetence and its clinical impact on chronic venous disease development. Perforating veins (PV) serve as a complex anatomical and functional structure which incompetence indicates possible pathological processes in superficial and deep veins. PV almost never become a reflux source and though never require to be treated to abolish its incompetence. At the same time accurate diagnostic evaluation of PV condition must be performed to distinguish PV incompetence from PV compensatory changes that correct effects of vertical venous refluxes.

Most of the residents in high-rise housing do not realise the importance of proper building management until the physical buildings and shared facilities have deteriorated. Accordingly, this paper identified the factors for effective repair and maintenance services in a housing setting by utilising a systematic literature review method. Relevant information was analysed through content analysis techniques across various peer-reviewed journal articles. The results yielded the potential factors for effective repair and maintenance services in high-rise housing. This study thus contributes to the field by deriving valuable reference for property management companies tasked with managing such houses in consideration of the factors necessary for effective repair and maintenance towards building quality and sustainability. Keywords: high-rise housing; house; effective repair and maintenance serviceseISSN 2514-751X © 2020 The Authors. Virtual commerce applies immersive technology such as augmented reality and virtual reality into e-commerce to shift consumer perception from 2D product catalogs to 3D immersive virtual spaces. In virtual commerce, the alignment of application design paradigms and the factors influencing consumer behavior is paramount to promote purchase of products and services. The question of their relation needs to be answered, together with the possible improvement of application design. This paper used a systematic literature review approach to synthesize research on virtual commerce from both application design and consumer behavior research, considering the promotion of purchase in virtual commerce settings. Throughout the review, influential factors to purchase and preeminent design artifacts were identified. Then, the research gaps were discovered by mapping the design artifacts to the influential factors, which can inspire future research opportunities on the synergy of these two research directions. Moreover, the evolution of virtual commerce research along with multiple directions were discussed, including the suggestion of meta-commerce as a future trend.

Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP) is an extremely rare heritable disorder of connective tissues characterized by progressive heterotopic ossification in various skeletal sites. It is caused by gain-of-function mutations in the gene encoding activin A receptor type I (ACVR1)/activin-like kinase 2 (ALK2), a bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) type I receptor. Heterotopic ossification is usually progressive leading to severe deformities in the trunk and extremities. Early clinical diagnosis is important to prevent unnecessary iatrogenic harm or trauma. Clinicians should become aware of early detectable skeletal malformations, including great toe deformities, shortened thumb, neck stiffness associated with hypertrophy of the posterior elements of the cervical spine, multiple ossification centers in the calcaneus, and osteochondroma-like lesions of the long bones. Although there is presently no definitive medical treatment to prevent, stop or reverse heterotopic ossification in FOP, exciting advances of novel pharmacological drugs focusing on target inhibition of the activated ACVR1 receptor, including palovarotene, REGN 2477, rapamycin, and saracatinib, have developed and are currently in clinical trials.

ABSTRACT To review scientific literature to assess nutritional status of elderly patients with osteoarthritis in the last 16 years. This is an integrative literature review that included articles published in national and international journals indexed in PubMed, SciELO and BIREME. We selected 14 articles, and English language was predominant. The year of publication of articles ranged from 2006 to 2016, and most of papers were cross-sectional studies. To gather papers and for posterior evaluate, we used a validated data collection instrument and the included studies were critical analyzed by reading, gathering and analysis of articles. Studies suggested that there is a positive correlation between obesity and knee osteoarthritis. Obesity is one of the most important modifiable factors in worsening of osteoarthritis symptoms.
