This study aims to prove whether coal mining sector companies have the potential to go bankrupt if measured using the Altman Z-Score model. The study also analyzed the effect of the components of financial ratios in the Altman Z-Score model on stock prices. The research sample is 17 coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. The results of the calculation of the Z-Score value show that several coal mining companies have the potential to go bankrupt. Using the panel data regression approach, it was found that the Z-Score value had a significant effect on stock prices. Partially, the EB/TA ratio has a significant effect on stock prices. The ratios of WC/TA, RE/TA, and MVE/BVL have no significant effect on stock prices.

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the ratio - financial ratios Altman Z-Score on stock prices (study at the plantation subsector company that went public on the stock exchanges of Indonesia). The research data is annual data from 2014 until 2018. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. Of the population of 16 companies in the plantation subsector, 15 companies met the criteria plantation sub-sector into the sample. The analytical method used in this study is panel data regression. The results showed Working Capital to Total Assets (WCTA), Retained Earnings to Total Assets (RETA), Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBITTA) and Market Value Equity to Book Value of Total Liabilites (MVEBTL) together - the same (simultaneous) effect significant positive stock price

This research aims to determine the level of the bankruptcy of the company and to see if the Altman ratio can predict the condition of corporate bankruptcy in mining companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange because mining companies have a large role in the Indonesian economy. This study uses the Altman Z-Score model analysis to see how much the company's bankruptcy prediction and uses logistic regression to see how much the influence of the Altman ratio in predicting corporate bankruptcy. This research had two objectives. First, it determined the prediction of the method of Altman Z-Score whether it could classify banking positions, bankruptcy, or financial distress in the go-public bank in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Second, it was to know the influence of value position of Altman Z-Score on the stock price. The population was 84 banking company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2015. The sampling method was purposive sampling. Moreover, data analysis method used was a simple regression analysis. For data processing, it used software Eviews 8. The Z-Score calculations predict the potential bankruptcy of go-public bank in 2010-2015. All results show that Z-Score has the small score of 1,81. It can be said there is a potential bankruptcy. For t-test, it can be concluded that Z-Score has the positive and significant effect on the stock price. The ability of Z-Score values in explaining the stock price is 95,50% while the remaining 4,50% is influenced by other variables that are not analyzed in the research. With some weaknesses of Altman’s Z-Score model, this research has the implication for management bank. It improves the financial performance for the future to avoid opportunity bankruptcy prediction. The results show how the effect of bankruptcy on banking stock prices.

This study aims to examine and analyze the bankruptcy prediction on coal mining company listed onthe Indonesia Stock Exchange. Bankruptcy prediction on coal mining companies using the Altman ZScore to see how big a bankruptcy prediction coal mining company. The data used in this study arethe financial statements of coal mining companies that are in the period 2012-2014 on the IndonesiaStock Exchange. The analysis technique used is a bankruptcy prediction model Altman Z-Score usingfive variables representing liquidity ratios, profitability ratio, and activity ratio. During theobservation period of 2012-2014 shows that the research data as many as 19 coal mining companiesthere are in a state of bankruptcy. In 2012 and 2013 there were 31.6% of companies experiencingbankruptcy prediction, and 26.32% are in the gray area. 2014 showed an increase where there are42.10% of companies experiencing bankruptcy prediction and 5.26% in the gray area..Keywords: Altman Z-Score, Predicted Bankruptcy, Stock price

This study aimed to find out the effect of managerial ownership, financial performance, corporate competition on stock prices with capital structure as the intervening variable in the coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Managerial ownership variables by the shareholding presentation. Financial performance variables by Total Asset Turnover (TATO). Firm competition variable by Concentration Ratio (CR). Capital structure variables by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). Stock prices variable by Price to Book Value (PBV). The population of this study was the coal mining companies listed on the IDX. This study used Purposive as the sampling technique. The data source was secondary data from financial statements published through the IDX official website. This study used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with a quantitative approach using regression techniques with the E-Views version 10 program. The results of this study showed that the dealings of managerial ownership had a positive and significant effect on DER, TATO had a negative and not significant effect on DER, while CR had a negative and significant effect on DER. The dealings of managerial ownership, TATO, DER has a positive and significant effect on PBV, while CR has a negative and not significant. The dealings of managerial ownership influences PBV through DER, interestingly TATO has no effect on PBV through DER and CR influences PBV through DER

This study aims to analyze the Level of Financial Soundness on Financial Performance in Cement Companies that are Go Public Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Analysis of the level of financial health using the Altman Z-Score with several ratios, namely the ratio of Working Capital to Total Assets (X1), the ratio of retained earnings to total assets (X2), the ratio of EBIT to Total Assets (X3), the ratio of stock market value to book value ofabilities (X4), the ratio of Sales to Total Assets (X5) to the dependent variable on Financial Performance (Return on Assets). The data analysis technique used in this research is the Altman Z-Score with the criteria for bankruptcy and to find its effect with the panel data regression model assisted by E-Views software. The results of the calculation and analysis of the Z-Score criteria in cement companies in Indonesia, it is known that there is no cement company whose company finances are stated in a healthy condition. One company is prone to bankruptcy (gray zone) while the rest according to the Z-Score criteria are bankrupt. Furthermore, based on the panel data regression examiner simultaneously the five independent variables on financial performance (Y), while partially the working capital ratio to total assets (X1) affects financial performance (Y), the retained earnings ratio to total assets (X2) has no effect on Financial performance (Y), EBIT ratio to total assets (X3) affects financial performance (Y), stock market value ratio to book value of liabilities (X4) has no effect on financial performance (Y), Sales to Total Assets ratio (X5) affect financial performance.

This research aimed to know whether the predictor variables on Bhandari’s z-score model having discriminating power which in each of the group has significant difference. Sample which was being used to assist was the manufacture company that consisted of healthy company and the unhealthy company enrolled in Indonesia stock exchange in the period of 2012-2014. Sample collecting method used purposive sampling and cross section was the data used in this research. This research was conducted by using Multivariat Discriminant Analysis (MDA). The result of this study showed predictor variable that gave discriminating power which stood of quality of earning (EAQ), operating cash flow divided by current liabilities (OCFCL), operating cash flow margin (OCFM), and operating cash flow return on total assets (OCFA) in distinguishing the healthy and unhealthy company significantly.

This study aims to determine the effect of the bankruptcy prediction of the Altman z-score model, auditor reputation and opinion shopping on going concern audit opinion in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. This research is a causal associative research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study were 25 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which were determined using purposive sampling technique. Observations in this study were carried out throughout the period 2015 to 2019 so that the number of observations was 125 data. The type of data used in this study is secondary data. While the data analysis method used in this research is panel data regression analysis with statistical data processing software, namely STATA. Based on the results obtained in this study, it can be seen that the prediction of bankruptcy based on the Altman z-score model has no significant effect on going concern audit opinion on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Auditor reputation is proven to have a negative and significant effect on going concern audit opinion on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. And opinion shopping is also proven to have a negative and significant effect on going concern audit opinion on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Bankruptcy Prediction With the Altman Z-Score Method and the stock price on Manufacturing Company. This research aims to analyze the bankruptcy prediction on stock prices in manufacturing company of basic industry sector and chemical sub-sector of metals that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2015-2017. The sampling method was done with purposive sampling which then determined 15 companies as sample. Sources of data used are secondary data in the form of financial report published in BEI. Data analysis used data panel regression using eviews version 8. These result shows that Altman Z-Score variable: 1) Working capital to total assets, 2) Retained earning to total assets, 3) Earning before interest and taxes to total assets, 4) Market value of equity to book value of total debts, and 5) Sales to total assets significantly influence stock prices in the metal subsector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the average company is in the gray area

This study was conducted to prove the accuracy of bankruptcy prediction of Altman Z-Score model on conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of conventional banks during the period of 2013-2016 mentioned on the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique used is bankruptcy prediction of Altman Z-Score model, using five variables representing liquidity ratios X1, profitability ratios X2 and X3, and activity ratios X4 and X5. The formula Z-score = 1.2X1 + 1.4X2 + 3.3X3 + 0.6X4 + X5. When Z-Score criteria is Z > 2.90 it is categorized as a healthy company. Z-Score between 1.23 to 2.90 is categorized as a company in area. While Z-Score Z < 1.23 is categorized as a potential bankrupt company. Based on the results of the research, Z-Score analysis that has been done in the period of 2013-2016 indicating that most conventional banks are predicted bankrupt. The lowest score of the Z-Score is 1.23. Only one Bank Jtrust Indonesia Tbk (BCIC bank code) is in a healthy category. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk with BMRI bank code, has been increasing from the prediction of bankruptcy category to the prediction of gray area category.Keywords: Altman Z-Score, Conventional Banks Listed on BEI 2013-2016, Prediction of Bankruptcy.
