Our research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the democracy and human rights course taught with a “Learning Model Based on Democratic Life.” The study was conducted with an action research design. The research study group, determined using purposeful sampling, consisted of 10 students taking a Democracy and Human Rights course at a state university in Turkey. Data were collected using “Process Evaluation Forms” and “Student Letters.” Content analysis was used in the analysis of the data. We concluded that the students thought the Learning Model Based on Democratic Life supported their participation, was efficient and interesting, contributed to the formation of a democratic classroom environment, and enabled them to learn democracy in democratic ways.

The aim of this study is to examine the semantic structures used by mathematics teacher candidates to transform algebraic expressions into verbal problems. The research is a descriptive study in the survey model, which is one of the quantitative research types. The study group of the research consists of 165 teacher candidates studying in the primary school mathematics teaching department of a state university in the south of Turkey in the 2019-2020 academic years. 73.2% of the teacher candidates in the study group are female and 26.8% are male. Criterion sampling method, one of the purposeful sampling methods, was used in the selection of teacher candidates in the study group. While the Algebraic Expression Questionnaire Form was used as the data collection tool, the evaluation rubric of verbal problems was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, it has been revealed that pre-service teachers are more successful in transforming algebraic expressions into verbal problems, but they have problems in creating problems with algebraic expressions that make up systems of equations. Again in the study, it was concluded that pre-service teachers used addition and subtraction problems more than multiplication and division problems. On the other hand, when the problems in the type of addition and subtraction are examined in the study, in the type of combining and separating; It has been concluded that the category of equal groups is mostly used in the problems of multiplication and division.

The purpose of this research is to get an overview of the implementation of basketball-based shooting learning on the students, to produce basketball shooting learning model, and to develop conceptual model and procedural model of shooting set shoot learning, jump shoot and basketball shoot layup and also to know effectiveness of efficient model. This research and development use Research & Development (R & D) development method from Borg and Gall. Group trials were conducted on second semester students who took basic basketball courses consisting of 4 classes totaling 120 people, 60 treatment groups and 60 as control groups with eight (8) meetings. The effectiveness test of the learning model uses shooting skill set shoot skill instruments, jump shoot and basketball shoot layup using portofolio (process assessment). Analysis of research data using t test with a significance level of 0.05. Data analysis for shoot shooting set obtained an average value of pretest 50.43 and posttest 75.57 t-count ratio and t-table -188.500 <1.67065, while the jump shoot obtained the average value of pretest 57.55 and posttest 82 , 85 t-count comparisons and t-tables -89,235 <1,67065 and for shoot layups, the average pretest score is 48,02 and posttest 73,17 t-count ratio and t-table -167,667 <1,67065, significance (2-tailed) 0.000 with a significance level of 0.05 then of the three H0 rejected. Based on the data analysis, it can be said that the set shoot, jump shoot and drill layup-based learning models for students are developed, effective and can improve the results of basketball shooting learning. Keywords: Effectiveness, Shooting Basketball Model, Based of Drill

This research is to create circuit learning model based training to improve technical capabilities smash volleyball at Facultyof Sport Science, Medan State University. This study referred from developing research which was propounded by Borg and Gall. Basedon trial results and was applicated to small and big samples, it concluded that the circuit -based learning model development can be amodel in increasing the skill of volley ball smash technique mastery at faculty of Sport Science of Medan Stated University. Circuitbased learning model is wearing 7 group and 21 forms of learning. Of the 21 models of learning based training deemed necessary circuitapplied in each learning smash volleyball. The results of this study have been answered about the effectiveness of learning with theresults of learning each new model of learning assessment indicators is more effective than the old one. The average effectiveness of theSS indicator on older models of learning is 78.33% and 86.67% of new models of learning. The average effectiveness in SW indicator onolder models of learning is 73.33% and 80.00% of new models of learning. The average effectiveness of the NT indicator on oldermodels of learning is 71.67% and 85.00% of new models of learning. The average effectiveness of the indicators of SA on the old modelof learning is 70.00% and 78.33% of new models of learning. Learning outcomes (average of all indicators) that reach increased from73.33% to 82.50%. It can be concluded that circuit -based learning model more effective than the old learning model.

The study aimed at developing a project-based learning model based on the local wisdom in the learning process of the citizenship education course. It also aimed at preventing radicalism among students and forming student habits in interpreting local wisdom as a bridge of tolerance. The study employed a research and development (R&D) design. The subject of the study included 40 PIPS Education students at the State University of Jakarta. The method of collecting data on local wisdom in society that can prevent students from radicalism through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and field notes, then measuring the feasibility of learning model design. Project-based learning used a questionnaire after learning activities are carried out. The results of a questionnaire on the application of project-based learning to the prevention of radicalism obtained an average result of 82 percent of students who strongly agree with the application of the project-based learning model based on the local wisdom, and it can prevent the values of radical times among PIPS students of the Jakarta State University

The environmental problems at this time, especially the diversity of bat cave dwellers in the karst of Cibalong, Tasikmalaya should be given the special attention by all of the society elements, especially by the educators who must act real and solve the problems to give the view of knowledge to the community and the students in understanding the importance of bats which is considered as a pest and it is associated with mystical things. One of the effort is looking for and implementing some of learning model based on the local wisdom to change and establish the scientific thinking of the sociaety and the students to analyze the presence of bat in term of the survival of the ecosystem. It is expected that bats and their habitats in Karst of Cibalong, Tasikmalaya can be preserved.
