The study aimed at developing a project-based learning model based on the local wisdom in the learning process of the citizenship education course. It also aimed at preventing radicalism among students and forming student habits in interpreting local wisdom as a bridge of tolerance. The study employed a research and development (R&D) design. The subject of the study included 40 PIPS Education students at the State University of Jakarta. The method of collecting data on local wisdom in society that can prevent students from radicalism through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and field notes, then measuring the feasibility of learning model design. Project-based learning used a questionnaire after learning activities are carried out. The results of a questionnaire on the application of project-based learning to the prevention of radicalism obtained an average result of 82 percent of students who strongly agree with the application of the project-based learning model based on the local wisdom, and it can prevent the values of radical times among PIPS students of the Jakarta State University

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Pembelajaran Van Hiele untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Luas Permukaan serta Volume Balok dan Kubus di kelas VIII  SMP N 18 Palu. Rancangan penelitian mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart, yang terdiri dari 4 komponen yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) tindakan, 3) pengamatan, dan 4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas VIII  SMP N 18  Palu yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, tes, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Van Hiele dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan mengikuti fase-fase: 1) informasi, 2) orientasi terarah, 3) uraian, 4) orientasi bebas, dan 5) integrasi. Kata Kunci: model Pembelajaran Van Hiele, Hasil Belajar, Luas Permukaan serta Volume Balok dan Kubus. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the application of Van Hiele Learning model to improve student learning outcomes on Surface Surface and Block and Cube in Grade VIII SMP N 18 Palu. The study design refers to the Kemmis and Mc.Taggart model, which consists of 4 components: 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. The subject of this research is the students of class VIII SMP N 18 Palu, amounting to 20 students. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, tests, interviews, and field notes. The results showed that the application of Van Hiele learning model can improve student learning outcomes by following the phases: 1) information, 2) orientation directed, 3) description, 4) free orientation, and 5) integration. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran kimia dengan pokok bahasan Hakikat Ilmu Kimia, serta untuk mengetahui besar peningkatannya. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Variabel yang digunakan adalah peningkatan hasil belajar mencakup nilai kognitif dan psikomotorik. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan adalah pretes-postes, portofolio, lembar observasi, dan angket kuisioner. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) nilai kognitif sebesar 97% dengan rata-rata nilai 82, siswa yang mencapai KKM nilai psikomotorik sebanyak 100% dengan rata-rata nilai 91. Terjadi peningkatan keberhasilan guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran PjBL pada siklus I sebesar 88% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 97%. Peningkatan keaktifan rata-rata siswa pada siklus I sebesar 82%, meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 93%. Ketertarikan rata-rata siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 84% meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 92%. Hasil observasi penerapan PjBL secara keseluruhan menunjukkan nilai sangat baik yaitu 95. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pokok materi hakikat ilmu kimia.   Project Based Learning to Improve Student Learning Outcome in Chemistry Lessons with the Subject Matter of the Nature of Chemistry Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine whether learning using the Project Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in chemistry lessons with the subject matter of the nature of Chemistry, and to determine the magnitude of the increase. Classroom Action Research is carried out in 2 cycles. The variables used are improvement in learning outcomes including cognitive, and psychomotor values. The instruments used were pretest-posttest, portfolio, observation sheet, and questionnaire questionnaire. Data were analyzed qualitatively descriptive. From the results of the study obtained a picture of students who reached KKM cognitive value as much as 97% with an average value of 82, students who achieved KKM psychomotor value as much as 100% with an average value of 91. There was an increase in the success of teachers in applying the PjBL learning model in the first cycle of 88%, increasing in the second cycle by 97%. The increase in the average activity of students in the first cycle was 82%, increasing in the second cycle by 93%. The average interest of students also increases in the first cycle by 84%, increasing in the second cycle by 92%. Observation of the application of PjBL as a whole shows a very good value of 95. Based on the results of the analysis of the data shows that learning using the Project Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes of the subject matter of the nature of chemistry.

Abstract: Potency of the high absorption obtained if learning in effective. Effective learning occurs when students are placed as individual active and direct contact with the subject matter. This research aims to reduce the limitations of the tool (a computer or laptop) and maximizing existing facilities (hand phone) with the aim of achieving effective learning that puts students as subjects of learning. This study is a research field for conducting comparative academic performance of two models of learning. The first learning model is simulation learning and the second model is self-learning via mobile facility. Self-learning materials in this research is the material in the form of video 3GP and transferred to the student’s mobile. The research population is 85 students and a sample taken by 70 students. The data in this study is the performance of students from simulation learning model and self- learning model based 3GP video. Data analysis using inferential statistical, namely the t-test. Data analysis was performed after the fulfillment of the requirements for normality of data. The results of hypothesis testing obtained the results as following: The value t count bigger than t table (5.957> 2.025). Thus Ha is received and Ho is rejected (significance below or equal to 0.05 so Ha is received). Means that there are significant differences between simulation learning model and self-learning model based 3GP video. Keywords: Learning Media, 3GP Video.

Untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap e-modul yang dikembangkan, diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode kuisioner dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa angket.Hasil analisis respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa persentase siswa yang memberikan respon sangat baik sebesar 60%, persentase siswa yang memberikan respon baik sebesar 40%, dan tidak ada siswa yang memberikan respon cukup, kurang maupun sangat kurang. Our research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the democracy and human rights course taught with a “Learning Model Based on Democratic Life.” The study was conducted with an action research design. The research study group, determined using purposeful sampling, consisted of 10 students taking a Democracy and Human Rights course at a state university in Turkey. Data were collected using “Process Evaluation Forms” and “Student Letters.” Content analysis was used in the analysis of the data. We concluded that the students thought the Learning Model Based on Democratic Life supported their participation, was efficient and interesting, contributed to the formation of a democratic classroom environment, and enabled them to learn democracy in democratic ways.

The aim of this study is to improve students’ skill in writing recount texts and to find out the students’ responses after being taught by using Peer Review Strategy. The subject of the study is the students of Class VIII A of SMP Budi Murni 3 Medan in the Academic Year of 2017/2018. Questionnaire, observation sheet, field notes, and writing tests were used as the instruments for collecting data. The results of the study showed the significant improvement of the students’ skill in writing recount texts. It is proven by the students’ mean score of each test: pre-test is 64,68, formative test is 70,75 and post-test is 75,86. The progress is about 11,18 based on the students’ mean score. Moreover, the improvement could also be seen from the Minimum Mastery Criteria (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM)) which showed that the students’ score of pre-test is 20,68%, formative test is 58,62%, and post-test is 72,41%. It can be concluded that there is a significant progress of 52% based on (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM)). The students also agreed with the application of Peer Review Strategy in writing recount texts. It can be seen from the result of questionnaire that there was 60% of strongly agree and 40% of agree. Therefore, the application of Peer Review Strategy is very suitable to improve students’ skill in writing recount texts.

The purpose of this study is describing the implementation of project-based learning model and analysing the student’s creativity improvement in the subject of learning media. We describe the implementation of project-based learning based on our note of the learning syntax during one semester. Then, compared the students’ product to measure their creativity improvement in the aspects of originality, novelty, and flexibility. This study used descriptive-qualitative method and involved the students who took the learning media course as its subjects. The results showed that there was an improvement of the students’ creativity in the project-based learning implementation. The improvement was measured in the making of the manipulatives. The students’ flexibility and novelty were good, while their originality was fair.

The purpose of this study was to improve mathematics learning outcomes with the subject of calculating the area of a flat shape using a project-based learning model for grade VI students of SD Negeri Pinedapa. This research uses classroom action research which is carried out in 3 cycles. Each cycle is carried out in 4 (four) stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The instruments used in this research were tests, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research results from each cycle increased. Based on the results of the cycle III test, it was found that the average learning outcome was 80.31 out of 32 students who scored 70-85 there were 21 students, and the range 86-100 had 11 students. The conclusion of this study is that through the use of a project-based learning model it can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on the subject of calculating the area of a flat shape in class VI SD Negeri Pinedapa.

The aims of this research is to increase students’ creative thinking ability through the application of Project Based Learning model in the subject of science. This research was conducted at the students of grade IVC, Public Elementary School of Cipinang Melayu 01, East Jakarta, in July-October 2018. The method of the classroom action research consist of 2 cycles with 4 activities: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research results shows that the percentage of the data on cycle I, the students' creative thinking ability reach at 53,1%. On Cycle II, it indicates a significant reach at 78,1%. As for the monitoring data of the teacher's actions in learning with the Project Based Learning model, On cycle I reach a percentage at 80% and student’s action monitoring data reach at 73%. On cycle II, the monitoring data of teacher and student actions reach at 100% and 93%. Therefore, it reached the expected target. This Project Based Learning model can increase the creative thinking ability. The conclusion of this research shows that creative thinking ability get increased after using Project Based Learning model.
