The landscape industry has become one of the industries with higher resource and energy consumption, and the implementation of urban low-carbon landscape construction is of great significance to improve the ecological environment. In this study, the method of low-carbon landscape construction was studied from two aspects including the carbon source control and carbon sink, as well as both direct and indirect effect. The results showed that the low-carbon landscape construction can be controlled from five aspects including landscape planning, landscape design, low-carbon landscape technology, low-carbon landscape behavior and low-carbon policy. Through a series of low-carbon measures, carbon emissions can be controlled at a reasonable level during the urban landscape construction, which also promotes the sustainable development of urban ecological environment.

With the advent of the knowledge economy and the rapid development of information technology era, people's demand for the living environment has been far more than mere material comfort. In this paper, good landscape design for residential quarter not only provides appropriate living conditions for dweller, satisfies people's yearning for home, improves the quality of urban environment, but also is the main prerequisites which measure the green quality and management of the community. Landscape planning and design of residential environment exists failed plant landscape design, weak user-friendly design, ignoring landscape such as issues. We have identified the principles of landscape planning and design community, and allocation of green plants. It is the important weights that real estate developers sell their items, which is an important success factor that the real estate developers operate company, and people will pay more and more attention to the landscape design.

In order to improve the effect of urban landscape design, this paper combines big data technology with digital technology. For scenes and solutions containing SDS paths, a processing method similar to photon graphs is used and added to the calculation of two-way optical path tracking. In the processing scene, this paper uses the two-way optical path tracking method to perform specular reflection or refraction from the subpath starting from the light source and then store information such as the light energy of the points on the diffuse reflection surface or the directional reflection surface. Moreover, this paper combines the actual needs of urban landscape design to construct an urban landscape design system based on big data technology and digital technology. Finally, this paper designs experiments to carry out urban landscape simulation and design effect evaluation. From the test results, it can be seen that the system designed in this paper basically meets the needs of urban landscape planning and design.

With the water tourism developed, making the development of water landscape rising rapidly. How to ensure the safety of hydraulic engineering technology under normal circumstances, and protect the ecological environment, play tourism economic benefits are an important problem in landscape design. Under the premise of following the principle of water conservancy landscape planning and design, applying AHP to research Xiya ditch waterfall landscape and optimize design program, then set up the preferred plan from ecological effect, waterfalls and technological factors three aspects of evaluation index. This provides theory basis for model test and engineering implementation in Xiya ditch waterfall landscape. In recent years, water conservancy projects relying on water industry form a large number of humanities landscape, natural landscape. The development of water tourism, gradually achieved a certain economic, social and environmental benefits. Giving full play to the comprehensive benefits of water conservancy projects, Ministry of Water Resources has granted water tourism as three major elements in water economy with water supply, power generation.

ABSTRACT Study and travel in Europe provided a foundation for the establishment of artists and architects in the United States, including landscape architects and urban planners. In the closing decades of the nineteenth century, Charles A. Platt (1859–1933) and Charles Eliot (1861–97), men from privileged backgrounds in New York and Boston respectively, spent years in Europe seeking training and direct knowledge of historic patterns in garden, park and city making. Both shared their observations in influential articles for professional and popular journals and in publications that discussed what they had observed abroad and showed how it could be applied to American needs. Separate publications about their work and ideas further reinforced their influence. Platt, originally trained as an etcher and painter, approached first landscape design and then architecture from the perspective of an artist. He became one of the earliest and most influential figures in the formal garden revival in the United States, especially in landscapes for country houses, for which he also became one of the country’s most admired designers. In contrast, Eliot studied European patterns as a landscape architect who was also interested in both land preservation and regional planning. He led in establishing the Trustees of Public Reservations (1891), America’s first private-sector state-wide landscape trust, and the Boston Metropolitan Park Commission (1893), the country’s earliest regional landscape-planning state agency. The two men and their work represent contrasting methods and objectives, yet their interlocking careers sketch a broader panorama of the European precedents for American conditions at the turn of the twentieth century and beyond.

Once an abandoned property at the edge of campus, the 7,000 ft2 (650.3 m2) horticulture teaching garden at Oregon State University has evolved from an overgrown residential lot into a well-defined and meticulously maintained garden. Since its beginning, an irrigation system, hardscapes, turf, bulbs, annuals, perennials, and woody plants have been installed by students enrolled in undergraduate horticulture courses. About 200 students use the garden annually as part of their formal instruction and it is currently integrated into the curricula of courses in landscape design, landscape construction and maintenance, and herbaceous and woody plant identification. Because the garden space is dynamic, curriculum changes can easily be accommodated.

To explore the landscape planning of the comprehensive sports stadium and the football field, the similarities and differences between the comprehensive sports stadium and the football field landscape design and the general park design were analyzed by GIS technology. Special factors were discussed in the design of the complex sports stadium and football field. The treatment methods and principles of these special factors were analyzed. The results showed that their characteristics were created while meeting the functional requirements of each space. The local history and cultural scene left a deep impression on the viewers. Therefore, the design of sports facilities is consistent with the overall landscape effect. During the transformation of the base, the relationship between the original landform protection and development of the base is emphasized. This provides information and assistance for the comprehensive sports stadium and football field landscape design.

There has come an urgent necessity to reconstruct the university building and dormitory on the basis of detailed planning and researches as well as to plan the landscape architecture specifically dedicated to teachers, employees and students step by step according to the standard of higher education organizations. We aim to implement the project taking accounts of not only designs of university campuses in developed countries but also higher education trends in our own country and the mission of Mongolian State University of Agriculture /MULS. The significance of landscape planning is immense. But there is a lack of green environment, convenience, recreation fields, appropriate design etc. at universities and colleges in Mongolia where students, teachers and employees gather in a large number. Therefore, the rationale behind choosing this subject lies in planning and implementing it properly.Mongolian Journal of Agricultural Sciences Vol.13(2) 2014: 66-72

With the development of society and the improvement of urban economic level, people are no longer satisfied with the simple material and functional requirements of the city; thus, the spiritual requirements of city beauty, environmental quality, place atmosphere, and so on need to be improved. Based on the above background, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the landscape planning of Guangzhou’s digital city based on spatial information from the perspective of smart cities. Based on the relevant theoretical research, this paper combs the ideas of intelligent urban road landscape design. This paper analyzes the concept of urban road and smart road and puts forward the definition and characteristics of intelligent urban road landscape; according to the research on the development status of urban road and the connotation of smart city, combined with the concept and principle of urban road landscape design, it summarizes the design method of smart city road landscape. This paper, taking the innovative design of urban landscape as the research object and using the research methods of literature analysis and field investigation, innovatively combines the urban landscape design with digital information technology, changes the traditional landscape design ideas, constructs the urban landscape innovative design model, realizes the personalization of the urban landscape design, as well as the intelligent, digital, diversified, and humanized service and function. The experimental results show that nearly 60% of people are satisfied with the Guangzhou digital urban landscape planning based on spatial information in the smart city perspective.
