This study aims to compare quality gap of educational services at Zahedan University of Medical Sciences from students and faculties viewpoints. In a cross-sectional study, survey questionnaire was completed by two distinct groups of respondents– 230 faculty members and 384 students. Mass majority of the both groups declared there was negative gap in each of the five dimensions. Mean quality gaps from viewpoint of both groups were negative. The largest mean quality gap from students and faculty members viewpoint was in the responsiveness and tangibility dimensions respectively. The largest and smallest differences between students and faculties viewpoint were in the responsiveness and tangibility dimensions. This study inspects the job satisfaction level of academic staff at Rajshahi University, Bangladesh. Important factors that have an impact on job satisfaction levels are work itself, pay, promotion opportunities, supervision, and relationship with co-workers. A sample of 120 teachers is selected by convenient sampling from the nine faculties at Rajshahi University. With the support of SPSS, factor analysis, Co-relation, and regression tests are conducted to generate results. Through the statistical analysis, it is found that teachers are more satisfied with work itself, relationship with co-workers, and they are less satisfied with the pay structure, promotion opportunities, and supervision. Thus findings recommend that boosting the work facilities and ensuring the smooth and cooperative relationship with co-workers could be helpful tools in motivating faculty members and subsequently get attached with their work.

Background and objectives: Medical consultations became undeniable elements for the quality of health care and training of medical residence. This study aimed to assess the quality of performed consultations. Methods: This retrospective cross-sectional study at Shohadaye Tajrish hospital, affiliated to Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, in Tehran, Iran between 20th April 2018 and 4th May 2019. The reported items and quality score of medical consultation requests and responses between emergency and non-emergency consultations and between the faculty members and medical residents were assessed by SPSS version 21.0. Results: Among 431 medical consultations, most were non-emergency, requested by residents, and responded to by faculty members. The quality of consultations requested (p < 0.001) or responded (p < 0.001) by faculty members was higher than by medical residents. Higher year residents performed higher quality consultation requests (p = 0.008) and responses (p < 0.001). The quality score of consultation requests (p = 0.51) and responses (p = 0.1) had no significant difference between types of consultation. Conclusion: Underreported items of consultation impressed its quality. Faculty members and higher-year residents performed higher quality consultations.

Background and Purpose: Job satisfaction is a positive or positive state, which is the result of an individual job experience assessment. This study was designed to investigate the relationship between job satisfaction and burnout in faculty members of Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 122 faculty members working in Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences in 2010. In order to collect job satisfaction information, a questionnaire with reliability and reliability (Cronbach's alpha, 95%) and a standardized multivariate questionnaire were used to collect the burnout information from Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) to assess the degree of burnout in four The domain of emotional exhaustion, personal performance, personality deprivation and conflict were used. Findings: The majority of the faculty members were male (70.5%), in the medical school (73.8%), with a seniority of 10-6 (35%), and ranked associate professors (54.1%). The frequency of burnout was estimated at 73.8% and 61.5%, respectively. Only 20.5% of faculty members had job dissatisfaction. There was no statistically significant relationship between age and sex variables, years of service, academic rank, educational groups and salary with job satisfaction and burnout (p ≥ 0.05). Conclusion: In general, it can be said that the faculty members of the university have a good job satisfaction, and their job burnout is also acceptable. By examining the causes of dissatisfaction and the factors that contribute to the burnout of the faculty members, Promoted.

Introduction Care coordination is a priority concern for healthcare systems. In Colombia, there is a lack of information on the topic. This study analysed how doctors of two Bogotá’s public healthcare networks perceived coordination between healthcare levels and what factors are associated with their perception. Methods A cross-sectional study using the COORDENA-CO questionnaire to a sample of 363 doctors (network-1 = 181; network-2 = 182) in 2015. The questionnaire asks about types and dimensions of care coordination: information and clinical management, with items in a Likert scale, as well as conditions regarding health system, organisational and doctors’ conditions. Descriptive statistics and logistic regression analysis were performed. Results The doctors’ perception of a high level of coordination did not exceed 25.4%. On coordination of information, limited transfer of clinical information was found. Concerning clinical management, there were limited care coherence, deficits in patient follow-up and lengthy waiting times for specialised care. A high perception of coordination were associated with being female, being over 50 years old, being a specialist, having less than one year’s working experience, working less than 20 h per week at the centre, forming part of network-1, having time available for performing coordination tasks, having job satisfaction and not identifying limitations imposed by healthcare insurers. Discussion There was limited perception of coordination, in its different dimensions and types with some differences between networks. The results support the importance of guaranteeing job satisfaction, ensuring sufficient time to coordination-related activities and intervening in the restrictions imposed by healthcare insurers to improve care coordination.

Introduction: Sudden outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic has affected the educational system worldwide, forced the medical colleges to close due to lock down, and disrupted the classroom face-to-face teaching process. As a result, medical colleges shifted to an online mode of teaching. The aim of this study is to find out the perception towards online classes during COVID-19 lockdown period among MBBS and BDS students at a medical college of Nepal. Methods: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study carried out at Universal College of Medical Sciences and Teaching Hospital among first and second year Bachelor in Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor in dental surgery students from 1st June 2020 to 30th August 2020. Ethical approval was taken from Institutional Review Committee of Universal College of Medical Sciences and Teaching Hospital (IRC UCMS, Ref: UCMS/IRC/025/20). Convenient sampling method was used. Semi-structured questionnaire was used. Statistical Package for Social Sciences 22 was used for analysis and frequency and percentage was calculated. Results: One hundred fifty six (73.93%) students were enjoying online learning only to some extent, 135 (63.98%) felt online class not equally effective as face-to-face teaching. The students had disturbance during online classes as internet disturbance 168 (79.60%), and electricity problem 47 (22.3%). Similarly, many students 155 (73.50%) felt external disturbance, headache 26 (12.3%), and eye strain 26 (12.3%). Conclusions: Most of the students suffered from disturbances during online classes probably because of internet and electricity problem. When compulsory to conduct online classes, students felt that not more than three online classes per day should be conducted to avoid eye strain and headache.
