 Aspire of the Drug Utilization Studies (DUS) is to appraise factors related to the prescribing, dispensing, administering and taking of medication, and it’s associated. Since the middle of twentieth century, interest in DUS has been escalating, first for market-only purposes, then for appraising the quality of medical prescription and comparing patterns of use of specific drugs. The scope of DUS is to evaluate the current state and future trends of drug usage, to estimate roughly disease pervasiveness, drug expenditures, aptness of prescriptions and adherence to evidence-based recommendations. The increasing magnitude of DUS as a valuable investigation resource in pharmacoepidemiology has been bridging it with other health allied areas, such as public health, rational use of drug, evidence based drug use, pharmacovigilance, pharmacoeconomics, eco-pharmacovigilance and pharmacogenetics.

In this work, we present a conceptual framework to support clinical trial optimization and enrollment workflows and review the current state, limitations, and future trends in this space. This framework includes knowledge representation of clinical trials, clinical trial optimization, clinical trial design, enrollment workflows for prospective clinical trial matching, waitlist management, and, finally, evaluation strategies for assessing improvement.

There has been an enormous growth in the development of biotechnological applications, where advances in the techniques of microelectronic fabrication and the technologies of miniaturization and integration in semiconductor industries are being applied to the production of Laboratory-on-a-Chip devices. The aim of this development is to create devices that will perform the same processes that are currently carried out in the laboratory in reduced timescales, at a lower cost, requiring less reagents, and with a greater resolution of detection and specificity. The expectations of this Laboratory-on-a-Chip revolution is that this technology will facilitate rapid advances in gene discovery, genetic mapping and gene expression with broader applications ranging from infectious diseases and cancer diagnostics to food quality and environmental testing. A review of the current state of development in this field reveals the scale of the ongoing revolution and serves to highlight the advances that can be perceived in the development of Laboratory-on-a-Chip technologies. Since miniaturization can be applied to such a wide range of laboratory processes, some of the sub-units that can be used as building blocks in these devices are described, with a brief description of some of the fabrication processes that can be used to create them.

Abstract Gamification can help to increase motivation for various activities. As a fundamental concept in HCI, gamification has connections with various fields involving mixed reality, health care, or education. This article presents the expertise of 106 gamification specialists who participated in four workshops called “Gam-R — Gamification Reloaded.” The extraction of current and future trends in gamification is the result of this. Four general topics, four in-depth topics, and seven emerging fields of application for gamification are depicted and enriched with the current state of research to support interested academic scholars and practitioners. Technical and less technical areas, which are the fields of work and research in gamification, are demonstrated. Some areas are already trending, while others are just beginning to show a future trend.

The purpose of writing this review is to find out information from the book's contents and value the weaknesses and strengths of the book. The writer of this review is an active student at Airlangga University. The author's review is by looking at the current state of Indonesia, which is currently being hit by a pandemic, in which the country is experiencing a high decline. This book is aimed at the millennial generation because the role of youth is very important to keep advancing the Indonesian nation.Twelve active students wrote the book with the title Indonesia Advances in the Hands of the Millennial Generation of Alauddin State Islamic University Makassar to commemorate the anniversary in 2020. One of the authors is named Nur Aulia, born in Kolaka on September 9, 2001. Seeing the current state of Indonesia, reading skills are urgently needed and writing to create critical and creative thinking on the phenomena of life. Having a form of critical and creative thinking can reduce misunderstandings that occur in society. This ability is a form of effort in preserving the culture of the Indonesian nation, so that young people must form innovations that can lead to more advanced innovations for the next life.

The rules and regulations inherent to the design pressures and scantlings of high-speed powercrafts are numerous, and regularly reviewed. Recently, the new ISO 12215-5:2019 made notable changes to the way high-speed crafts are analysed, including extending the acceleration experienced up to 8 g in certain circumstances. Nevertheless, despite the multiple iterations and variety of regulatory bodies, the seminal work undertaken on planing crafts throughout the 1960s and 1970s remains the foundation of any rule-based design requirement. Consequently, this paper investigates an array of recently published rules though a comparative design case study, the current state-of-the-art across a number of regulations, and the ultimate impact on scantlings. The study reveals that, despite divergence in intermediate calculations and assumptions, similar requirements are ultimately achieved. Eventually, discussion on the comparison undertaken and future trends in high-speed marine vehicles is provided, tackling the relevance of classical planing theory in light of contemporary innovations.

The purpose of this chapter is to discuss the current state and associated challenges of Enterprise Integration (EI). The chapter will explore EI’s past, present and future, examine its path towards the current practices, and contemplate its future evolution. Synergies between Service-driven and other modern architectural approaches will be investigated. Major challenges associated with EI strategy and execution will be explored in depth. This will include organizational, technology, process, methodology, and governance challenges. In addition to the current state concerns, future trends and directions will be investigated and specific challenges outlined. A major part of this chapter will be devoted to defining and discussing modern solution architectures associated with EI. This will include current architectural best practices, technology constructs employed, design patterns, governance mechanisms, and implementation considerations.
