The different connections between individuals and the heritage which surrounds them have been widely analyzed in the literature, stating their complexity and diversity due to the nature of the concept of heritage. This paper is focused on the analysis of one type of connection, the identity one, in a try to quantify it, to check the existence of disparities between persons with a different socioeconomic profile, and to corroborate whether the identity connection varies according to the number of heritage education programs implemented in the territory. To achieve this, we have performed a survey which includes basic socioeconomic information about individuals and questions related to the degree of identity connection. The first results show that, in general, individuals who answered the survey are aware of the heritage which surrounds them, what will let us, in further analysis, measure the degree of identity connection of individuals from Castile and Leon, give an answer to the hypothesis outlined during the elaboration of the survey, and bring to light the importance of heritage education in the creation of identity connections.

Technological advancements have provided heritage with new learning environments via the use of virtual and augmented reality, which can foster the accessibility and understanding of culture and propose new ways of interacting with heritage. Therefore, in this study, a systematic evaluation is carried out of n=197 heritage education programs listed in the database of the Observatorio de Educación patrimonial en España (OEPE) (the Spanish Heritage Education Observatory–SHEO) which, in their descriptions, integrate the use of virtual environments and/or augmented reality to promote learning on the part of the user. The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyse the state of the art, (2) to evaluate the quality of their educational designs via the “analysis and assessment sequential method for heritage education programs” (SAEPEP-OEPE) and (3) to identify variables which can be improved or which have a significant influence on the quality of the programs. Highlights of the results include: (a) the increasing implementation of these technologies in heritage education programs, with the greater presence of virtual resources than of learning environments, (b) the low level of the scope of educational quality in their designs, particularly their assessment, and (c) the inclusion of advanced technologies slightly decreases the specificity of the educational design.

In 1978, at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory, the Sintez telescope, was put into operation. The goal of creating of this experimental telescope was to develop technologies for creating segmented optics, as well as a system for controlling the spatial position of mirrors, including the ability to compensate for turbulence in the Earth’s atmosphere thanks to the fast movements of each mirror along two axes. At the beginning of 2018, a decision was made to restore it with the creation of a new optics and control system. In this work, we present a detailed description of the telescope restoration and upgrade process and the first results.

Introduction. The advantages of extraperitoneal laparoscopic access to the prostate are well known - this is an opportunity to avoid the negative effects of pneumoperitoneum and the natural separation of the abdominal cavity from the surgical field. One of the drawbacks is the need to create an artifical cavity. Presence of a cystostomy fistula can significantly complicate the formation of the preperitoneal cavity. The aim of this research is to analyze our experience in creating extraperitoneoscopic access to the prostate gland in patients with cystostomy fistula. Materials and methods. From 2015 to 2019, we operated on 153 patients using extraperitoneal access to the prostate gland. Of these, 13 had a cystostomy fistula at the time of the surgery. The formation of the space was carried out according to the original technique without spacemaker balloon. After isolation of the fistulous passage, the latter intersected with suturing on the bladder side with 8-shaped (2–0 vicril). Results. In all cases, we were able to form a working space sufficient for surgical intervention. In 10 (76,93%) cases, access was created without opening the abdominal cavity, in 3 cases (23,07%) the abdominal cavity was unintentionally opened. There were no complications associated with the creation of a pre-abdominal space. Discussion. Extraperitoneal access to the prostate reduces the likelihood of damage to the abdominal organs, reduces the angle of inclination of the patient in the Trendelenburg position, does not require the creation of a pneumoperitoneum, with its adverse effect on the cardiovascular system, and also preserves the natural barriers between the surgical area and the abdominal cavity. The presence of a cystostomy in a patient is not an obstacle to this surgical access, the technical feasibility and safety of which was demonstrated in our study. Conclusion. Thus, extraperitoneal access to the prostate gland in the presence of a cystostomy fistula can be safely created in most cases.

The following article aims to present the results of the valorization of two under tumuli monuments that are part of the Serra do Carvalho necropolis in Póvoa do Lanhoso. The work involved about a dozen volunteers, mainly inhabitants from the Póvoa do Lanhoso municipality, and consisted in the removal of the vegetation mantle, cutting trees rooted on top of the mounds and graphical recording of the archaeological structures. In addition to a detailed characterization of the tumuli, this project allowed the creation of a dynamic of heritage education and social awareness that fostered a better understanding and preservation of this type of monuments, often easily subject to destructive actions. Finally, all of this is taken as an opportunity to extend the discussion to another topic - the involvement between the Public and Archaeology.

The first Romanian sonnet dates from 1810, and it is in the 19th Century when this poetic form was established within the metric repertoire in Romanian. This paper focuses on the creation of an exhaustive corpus of sonnets in Romanian language composed between 1810 and 1914. The contribution presents the conception, creation, methodology and some of the first results of the analysis of this 19th Century Romanian sonnets corpus. This work examines the rhythm used, syllabic patterns, as well as the stress in verses, to conclude with a practical application of one of the most recent theories that proposes the relation between tonicity and syllabic quantity. This study provides a detailed quantitative description of the metric characteristics of the Romanian sonnet in the 19th Century, aiming to help to the understanding of its particularities within the European context.
