In the present study, emotional intelligence and academic listening skill levels of pre-service teachers and the correlations between these variables were determined. Furthermore, the emotional intelligence levels and academic listening competencies of pre-service teachers were also investigated based on the variables of gender, department, and the preference of the department of study. The study group included 361 freshmen pre-service teachers attending the Faculty of Education and the study was conducted with survey method, a quantitative research method. The study data were collected with the “Academic Listening Skill Competency Scale” and “Rotterdam Emotional Intelligence Scale”. In the study, the regression analysis was conducted to determine the causality between emotional intelligence scores and academic listening skill scores revealed significant findings. The study findings demonstrated that “Total Emotional Intelligence” scores of the students reflected above average emotional intelligence levels. It was determined that the academic listening skill competency scores of the pre-service teachers were above average in both scale sub-dimensions and the total scale score. The results of regression analysis showed that the causality between Total Emotional Intelligence and Total Academic Listening Skills was significant.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to test the love of money as an intervening variable for the influence of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence on the ethical perceptions of accounting students. This study also tested partially and simultaneously the influence of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence on the ethical perceptions of accounting students. This research is in the field of associative quantitative research and testing five hypotheses. The sample of this research is 141 accounting students. The analysis is done by multiple regression analysis. The results suggest that love of money could not be an intervening variable for the influence of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence on the ethical perceptions of accounting students. There are both partial and simultaneous influence for intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence on the ethical perceptions of accounting students   Keywords: love of money,  intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence, ethical perceptions

Goal. In the research, it was tried to determine the effect of the trait-based emotional intelligence scores on self-esteem evaluations, and it was attempted to determine how this effect evolved according to the gender factor. Method. In the study 175 students were partisipte and 171 questionnary were analyzed. To measure emotional intelligence, NHS Emotional Intelligence Scale was used and The Rosenberg Self-Esteem scale was used to measure self-esteem. Correlations, regression analysis, t-test and ANCOVA methods were used to determine the relationship and / or effect between two conceptual structures. Findings. As a result of the research, it was understood that emotional intelligence had no effect on the self-esteem.  Because the relations of concepts were not statistically significant (R2 = 0.00). Effect also did not occur at the female and male levels of the variable gender factor. Results. The argument that emotional intelligence, which is the basic hypothesis of the research, is effective on self-esteem scores has not been proved statistically. In the hierarchical regression analysis, which is based on the level of the gender factor, there was no relationship or effect.

The research was carried out in the general survey model, one of the quantitative research methods. The sample of the study wascomprised of 429 children attending kindergarten and nursery classin the central districts of Eskisehir and Usak. The data collection tool used in the research was “The Scale for the Evaluation of Preschool Children’s Listening Skill” developed by Özer Özkan and Coşkun (2015). The listening skill of the children were analyzed according to child's age, gender, birth order, number of siblings, school attendance time, and age, education and employment of the parents. The listening skill scores of the children participating in the research were found to be high. It was found that the scale did not differ significantly according to gender, birth order, school attendance time, education level and employment status of the parents, however, it differed according to the age of the child and the age of the parents.Findings obtained from the research were discussed in line with the related literature and suggestions were submitted.

The problem raised in this study is how the level of Emotional Intelligence of SDI Onekore 06 students, how is the level of learning discipline of SDI Onekore 06 students and whether there is an effect of emotional intelligence on student learning discipline at SDI Onekore 06. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect Emotional intelligence on the learning disciplines of SDI Onekore 06 students. This study used correlational quantitative research, which was conducted at SDI Onekore 06, Ende Tengah District, Ende Regency. The sample of this research was students in grades V and VI, who were taken using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing uses Simple Linear Regression analysis with the Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that the level of emotional intelligence tends to be high with an average of 94.5 and the level of discipline tends to be high with an average of 93.50. There is a significant influence between emotional intelligence on learning discipline. This can be seen from the results of statistical analysis which shows the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.419 which states that the correlation index (r) X to Y is sufficient with an effect of 17.6% and Sig = 0.014 at the significance level alpha ( = 0.05)
