Aiming at the fire type and evolution of large ship cabins, a fire risk analysis method of large ship cabins based on fire scene analysis was established, which is basing on the International Maritime Organization (IMO) SOLAS Convention and International fire procedures (FTP ) by combining Chinas ship cabins fire protection technology and fire safety management features. The purpose is to improve technical level of the fire risk management and fireproof disposal basing on fire prevention with warning disposal by dynamic risk management of ship cabins fire hazard and fire control technology.

Results of researches are resulted as substantiation of the general provisions of the fire protection management system of the object of protection. For the first time, a series of terms and definitions have been developed to characterize and specify the individual elements of the facility's fire safety management system. Imperfection of existing approaches to existing organizational measures of fire safety at the object of protection is shown. Shown national and international experience in effective sales management influence management decisions using business management object protection that allows realizing on objects of different functions organizational requirements and technical requirements for fire prevention systems and complex fire protection. Studies of domestic and foreign studies have shown that effective management influence with the help of management decisions of the subjects of management allows to effectively implementing on the objects the technical requirements of the fire prevention system and fire protection system. The experience gained in the organization of the management system, the management decisions and the provisions for ensuring the fire safety of the object of protection should be systematized, and the algorithm for managing this process should be standardized. As a result of the conducted researches the organizational structure of the fire safety management system of the object was developed and requirements for its operation and control algorithm. The result of the work is the draft standard "Fire Safety Management System of the Object of Protection. General Provisions", which is to be approved by the order of the National standardization body of Ukraine and subsequently used by the central executive bodies, local self-government bodies, economic entities and bodies and units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine

Abstract The statistics invariably show that most onboard fires originate in the engine room. In hazardous conditions, fires can spread to other rooms of the ship and cause the loss of human life, and can cause the ship to be out of service or lost completely. To prevent these serious consequences, the engine room crew should be aware of hazards and ways to prevent them. It is also advisable to support their routine activities and actions in critical situations with an appropriate management system. For this reason, a survey was conducted at the beginning of 2019 of engine room crew members employed by a European shipowner, as a contribution to an analysis of fire safety management. Based on the results of the survey, some of the elements of the fire safety management system of the ship engine room are described. A properly constructed system that is understandable and accepted by the crew is one of the most important factors in increasing fire safety on a ship. Familiarisation with adequate procedures can significantly contribute to the successful prevention of accidents. This paper also proposes a checklist based on suggestions by the crew, which may be helpful in onboard fire prevention.

Introduction. The paper considers the issues of modernization in the field of fire safety. It is noted that insufficient attention is paid to the tasks of fire safety management of the protected objects, and this negatively affects the overall level of security in the regions. The most relevant and effective method of improving the fire safety of the protected objects is the active introduction of robotics and artificial intelligence. Problem Statement. The objectives of this study are to develop proposals to improve fire prevention and fire protection systems, as well as to create a set of measures aimed at ensuring fire safety. Theoretical Part. The works of scientists on the topic of this study are used as basic information. The system of fire safety organization, legal regulation and state measures in the field of fire safety have been studied. Conclusions. The results of the study can be used in practice to ensure the fire safety of the protected objects, as well as for further scientific research.

The problems and safety measures for magnesium fires were analyzed based on the fire case analysis in this study. The following problems were analyzed: ① the fire occurs in areas where there is no regulation under the Hazardous Goods Safety Management Act, ② the lack of safety measures during the firefighting of magnesium fires, ③ absence of adaptive fire fighting agents or equipment, ④ absence of suitable fire fighting tactics. For safety measures, the following were analyzed: ① enactment of magnesium fire guidelines, ② the education and publicity regarding fire prevention and countermeasures by fire organizations, ③ the obligation to have appropriate fire extinguishing agents in the places where magnesium is stored and handled, ④ the development of suppression equipment and fire fighting tactics, and ⑤ the research and development of fire extinguishing agents.

The National Fire Safety Code (NFSC) sets forth the installation methods and technical standards of firefighting facilities. This information is stipulated in the attached Table 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Fire Prevention and Installation, Maintenance and Safety Control of Fire-Fighting Systems. The NFSC serves as a foundation for fire prevention and public safety. However, the current version of the NFSC has been under scrutiny due to its delayed enactment and revision process. This is because of its structural inflexibility, time-consuming procedures, and mixed usage of both performance and technical standards. Furthermore, there are difficulties with keeping its unique specialties due to the absence of a specialized, permanent independent entity that enacts, revises, and maintains its standards. Moreover, the NFSC lacks collectivity, openness, and consistency. Therefore, to overcome the aforementioned obstacles, this study investigates the operational and legal status of the NFSC and the problems regarding its enactment and revision process. Further, it presents suggestions for system improvement by analyzing and comparing the information with domestic and foreign counterparts dedicated to managing their similar technical NFSC standards. First, the study recommends that the legal performance and technical standards mixed within the current NFSC should be separated. Second, the enactment and revision of technical standards should be implemented by the private sector and not by the government. Third, technical standards should adopt a user-oriented approach for the code system.
