The first objective of this study was to evaluate trend line pattern, obtain the appropriate statistical equation model, and predict individual numbers infected by Covid-19. The second objective is to obtain a predictive equation model and forecast death rate for Malaysia and Italy. Malaysia's first positive case Covid-19 recorded January 24, 2020, consisting of three cases. Collected from January 24 to March 29, 2020. Sixty-six day-observations, based on their trend line pattern, earned special attention. Although the first positive case was identified on January 31, 2020, involving two patients. From January 31 to March 29, 2020, approximately 59 observations were collected from Italy. On 18 March 2020, the pattern will contrast with the Malaysian Movement Control Order (MCO). Malaysia and Italy collect death figures. A similar methodology will be applied to find the best-fitted model that fits both countries' death-number scenario. In Italy, the number of Covid-19-infected patients rises and meets quadratic trend line patterns. This induces extreme public distress and diversion. The quadratic trend line series analysed individual Covid-19-infected results. After March 18, 2020, it will continue to use a linear pattern. However, trend deaths also follow quadratic trend line pattern. Trend-line quadratic matched Italy's results. The quadratic line-of-trend model projection demonstrated dominance in estimating infected Covid-19. The quadratic death line from daily death collection data also showed superiority in estimating death number. The fitted quadratic model is better fitted in the Malaysian case, but the pattern shifts to linear trend line after MCO is implemented.

This paper intended to measure the material's rigidity according to the orientation of the PLA specimen produced by the FDM method. To measure the change of strength and stiffness according to the direction of stacking of FDM PLA, the specimen was manufactured and tested not only in the direction of stacking but also infill using line pattern and concentric pattern. The intensity of each direction was 38.11MPa with a 0 degree tensile in the line pattern, 3.45 times higher than 11.9MPa with a 90 degree tensile, and 2.15 times higher shear strength with 28.05MPa and 13.88MPa. In concentric pattern, 0 degree tensile was 50.62MPa, 6.25 times higher than 8.46MPa, and 2.23 times higher in shear strength at 13.52MPa compared to 29.56MPa. The biggest difference in zero-degree concentric pattern tensile was the 37% difference in the 0 degree concentric pattern factor. This shows that the difference in intensity according to direction is more pronounced in concentric patterns than line patterns, and the behavior under load will be similar until the breaking point regardless of the direction.

Abstract The existence of urban forests in the middle of residential areas will provide added value for beauty, comfort, and environmental health that could increase the value of land and buildings in the residential area. Residential-type urban forests need to be well designed so that they are compatible with the type of building and match the residential environment’s conditions. The purpose of this design is to create an appealing, multi-benefit urban forest design, which includes aspects of the urban forest theme concept, zoning arrangement, and vegetation arrangement, including species composition, density, and planting pattern. The outcome of the design resulted in a residential type, urban forest design by the theme of RINDU BCR Urban Forest (Relaxation, Inspiration, and Education for Buana Cicalengka Raya). The RINDU BCR Urban Forest functions as (1) a place of relaxation, (2) seeking positive inspiration, and (3) environmental education for the community. The planting pattern design consists of four types, namely: (1) opposite line pattern; (2) zigzag line pattern; (3) single line pattern, and (4) mixed pattern. The front-facing area of the RINDU BCR Urban Forest is designed by planting tree species that have the criteria of being ornamental, providing shade and safety, having a height of more than 300 cm, and a diameter of more than 10 cm.

In plants, RNA silencing functions as a potent antiviral mechanism. Virus-derived double-stranded RNAs (dsRNAs) trigger this mechanism, being cleaved by Dicer-like (DCL) enzymes into virus small RNAs (vsRNAs). These vsRNAs guide sequence-specific RNA degradation upon their incorporation into an RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC) that contains a slicer of the Argonaute (AGO) family. Host RNA dependent-RNA polymerases, particularly RDR6, strengthen antiviral silencing by generating more dsRNA templates from RISC-cleavage products that, in turn, are converted into secondary vsRNAs by DCLs. Previous work showed that Pelargonium line pattern virus (PLPV) is a very efficient inducer and target of RNA silencing as PLPV-infected Nicotiana benthamiana plants accumulate extraordinarily high amounts of vsRNAs that, strikingly, are independent of RDR6 activity. Several scenarios may explain these observations including a major contribution of dicing versus slicing for defence against PLPV, as the dicing step would not be affected by the RNA silencing suppressor encoded by the virus, a protein that acts via vsRNA sequestration. Taking advantage of the availability of lines of N. benthamiana with DCL or AGO2 functions impaired, here we have tried to get further insights into the components of the silencing machinery that are involved in anti-PLPV-silencing. Results have shown that DCL4 and, to lesser extent, DCL2 contribute to restrict viral infection. Interestingly, AGO2 apparently makes even a higher contribution in the defence against PLPV, extending the number of viruses that are affected by this particular slicer. The data support that both dicing and slicing activities participate in the host race against PLPV.

Single-shot 3D reconstruction technique is very important for measuring moving and deforming objects. After many decades of study, a great number of interesting single-shot techniques have been proposed, yet the problem remains open. In this paper, a new approach is proposed to reconstruct deforming and moving objects with the structured light RGB line pattern. The structured light RGB line pattern is coded using parallel red, green, and blue lines with equal intervals to facilitate line segmentation and line indexing. A slope difference distribution (SDD)-based image segmentation method is proposed to segment the lines robustly in the HSV color space. A method of exclusion is proposed to index the red lines, the green lines, and the blue lines respectively and robustly. The indexed lines in different colors are fused to obtain a phase map for 3D depth calculation. The quantitative accuracies of measuring a calibration grid and a ball achieved by the proposed approach are 0.46 and 0.24 mm, respectively, which are significantly lower than those achieved by the compared state-of-the-art single-shot techniques.

A low molecular weight organic compound containing bis-phenol A backbone (BPA-6OH) is reported as a negative-tone photoresist. This material has a high glass transition temperature and excellent thermal stability. A good contrast, well-resolved line pattern around 73.4 nm and sensitivity of 52 µC cm −2 can be received for negative-tone molecular glass photoresist upon exposure in electron beam lithography system. It indicates that the negative-tone molecular glass photoresist is one of the promising candidates for use in electron beam lithography.

Thoracic ultrasound is a rapidly evolving method in assessing diseases of the chest and particularly in emergency conditions for the evaluation of dyspnoeic and hypoxic patients. An increased number of B-lines are an unspecific sign for an increased quantity of fluid in the lungs, resembling interstitial syndromes such as cardiogenic pulmonary oedema. The presence of a B-line pattern allows the differentiation between a cardiogenic and a respiratory origin of acute respiratory failure. Also, ultrasound can be used for the diagnosis and monitoring of pulmonary consolidation, for the diagnosis and quantification of pleural fluid, and for the diagnosis of pneumothorax using the ‘lung point’. Finally, thoracic ultrasound can be used for guided pleural fluid aspiration, closed intercostal tube drainage, and central vessel catheterization.
