In the process of learning physics, experiments are needed that can help someone in gaining a deeper understanding of learning physics concepts and using technology in the learning process, especially learning sound waves. In this study, the aim is to be able to analyze the sound frequency with the help of Audacity software. Subjects used are 5 different cat sounds. The implementation of this research uses several tools such as a microphone, Audacity software on a laptop, and 5 cat sounds. This experiment was carried out by bringing the micro hope closer to the cat with 5 cm so that the sound was captured by the microphone which would later be transferred to the laptop and read by the audacity software. Furthermore, the data recorded in audacity were analyzed. From the results of the study, it can be said that a tool that can be used in practicum and can read and capture sound waves is effectively used in analyzing sound frequency, spectrum in the application of sound learning so that it can be used as one of the learning media in practicum on sound wave material at Junior high school.

Abstract For improvement of energy conversion efficiency, sound wave is superimposed with a loudspeaker to the working fluid in the stack. By using this method the work-flow generation of the stack was enhanced. To analyze this enhancement mechanism, the thickness of the boundary layer and the heat exchange area in the stack are calculated from the view point of heat exchange circumstance. The effect of the heat exchange circumstance on the particle displacement and heat flow is investigated. As a result, it is confirmed that the superimposed sound wave improves the heat exchange circumstance and then the thermoacoustic phenomenon is enhanced.

This development research aims to produce a product in the form of student worksheets based on a multi-representation approach to improve students' mastery of the sound wave concept that is valid, and effective. The product developed is student worksheets. The research design used is a 4D model consisting of Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Data collection techniques used validation sheets and concept mastery evaluation tools. Device validity data were analyzed using a Likert scale. Product effectiveness data were analyzed using Gain standards. Product validity was assessed by three expert validators and three practitioner validators. The assessment by the expert validator is 3.50 and by the practitioner validator it is 3.70 with valid criteria. The average result of the N Gain test for mastery of Sound Wave concepts is 0.73 in the high category. So, it can be concluded that student worksheets based on a multi-representation approach to improve students' mastery of sound wave concepts are valid and effective

Abstract The quality assessment through stiffness or firmness is widely used to identify the maturity of fruits and vegetables. Most of assessment method are destructive and no cost effective. This study was done to develop a stiffness estimation for tomato during storage period by using acoustics method. This project involved the usage of modern tools such as Arduino and LabVIEW where both of them were used to controls and regulate the data collected from a buzzer that produced sinusoidal sound wave. The time taken for the sound wave to reach the microphone were recorded as it was considered as the important factor in determining the stiffness factor, S, alongside the changing mass and diameter of the tomato during its storage period. At the end of the project, it was shown that the stiffness value of the tomato decreases in hand as the day progress. Furthermore, the correlation of the parameters was also calculated in which R2 value between stiffness and weight was finalized at 0.8993, with equation of y = 379.45 × – 40.321. The findings had successfully proved that the parameters involved in the research are greatly related.

Abstract The current study including investigating the effect of noise pollution produced by the diesel power generators on the public health, in one of Al-Ramadi districts. The measurements were taken using decibel meters within different distances and directions from the power station. The study showed that the noise levels are too high for the residential buildings, especially for the regions in which buildings are stacked together or distributed in a way that the sound wave is improved through the eco caused by this distribution.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran fisika model OrDeP2E pada materi gelombang bunyi untuk melatihkan kemampuan literasi Sains siswa MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinilai oleh dua orang. Data validasi diperoleh menggunakan penilaian perangkat dengan kategori 1-4. Penelitian ini mengacu pada pengembangan model 4-D. Perangkat yang divalidasi yaitu a) RPP, b) BAS, c) LKS, dan d) Tes Kemampuan Literasi Sains. Hasil analisis data yang sudah divalidasi menunjukkan bahwa a) RPP mendapatkan skor 3,34 (valid), a) BAS mendapatkan skor 3,52 (valid), c) LKS mendapatkan skor 3,47 (valid), d) tes kemampuan literasi sains mendapatkan skor 3,70 (sangat valid). Hasil analisis perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran OrDeP2E; Validitas Perangkat Pembelajaran Fisika. ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the validity of the OrDeP2E model of physics learning on sound wave material to train the science literacy skills of MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru students. The learning tools developed were assessed by two people. Validation data were obtained using device ratings with categories 1-4. This study refers to the development of a 4-D model. The validated tools are a) lesson plans, b) BAS, c) worksheets, and d) Science Literacy Ability Test. The results of data analysis that have been validated show that a) RPP scores 3.34 (valid), a) BAS scores 3.52 (valid), c) LKS scores 3.47 (valid), d) tests of scientific literacy skills get a score of 3.70 (very valid). The results of the analysis of the learning tools developed are suitable to be used to improve the scientific literacy skills of MAS Al-Mutaqin Wolowaru students. Keywords: OrDeP2E Learning Model; The Validity of Physics Learning Devices.

Abstract The paper presents a theoretical analysis of the experimental data on the ultrasound speed change in iron during heating and elastic deformation. The mathematical models proposed for assessing the change in the ultrasound speed based on the “adiabatic approximation” method do not explain, using one model, the change in the ultrasound speed in iron during heating and elastic deformation. During theoretical analysis, a new model of ultrasound wave transmission has been proposed, in which the wave energy propagates in the volume of the interatomic bond, namely in the loop, which is formed by the “collectivization” of valence electrons located in the outer orbit of atoms. The new model explains why with an increase in the interatomic distance a, the crystal lattice parameter, and an increase in the natural vibration frequency of atoms Vat during heating and elastic deformation, in one case (heating), the speed of the sound wave decreases, but in the other case (elastic deformation), the speed of the wave increases with a general decrease in the temperature of the rod.
