Abstract Background Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by attention problems, excessive physical activity, and impulsivity. ADHD affects not only the patients but also their families. The development and use of technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) for ADHD has increased over recent years. However, little is known about their potential usefulness. This overview aimed to clarify the current knowledge about the use of these three innovative technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of children with ADHD. Methods This overview was conducted using the PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus databases until January 24th, 2021. The following descriptive information was compiled from the identified studies: country, year of publication, sample size, study design, ADHD diagnosis methods, applied technology, hardware equipment, clinical target, and main findings. Results The initial database searches yielded 409 articles, but 103 were removed as duplicates. Eventually, 30 eligible studies remained for analysis, the majority of which were case-control (n = 22, 73%). Regarding the applied technology/hardware equipment, VR (n = 27; 90%), head-mounted displays (n = 19, 63%), VR-based continuous performance tests (VR-CPT) (n = 21, 70%) were most frequently used. Most studies (n = 21, 70%) used the DSM criteria for the diagnosis of childhood ADHD. They primarily evaluated the utility of these technologies in assessing ADHD symptoms (n = 10, 33%) and improving the ADHD diagnostic process (n = 7, 23%). Conclusion This comprehensive overview evaluated the studies on the use of VR, AR, and MR technologies for children with ADHD. These technologies seem to be promising tools for improving the diagnosis and management of ADHD in this population.

Utilizing preheating units is one of the most critical ways to improve the performance of thermal power plants. Increasing the overall efficiency of Brayton or Rankine cycles by preheating the air or stream may result in considerable increases in output power and efficiency. When it comes to renewable energy, solar energy is an appealing alternative for use as a source of preheating since it is readily accessible. The current article discusses the use of solar energy for preheating air and steam in thermal power plants, as well as other uses. The performance of the systems is being improved, according to evaluations, as a result of a variety of elements, including the configuration of the reference system, the operating environment, the applied technology, and so on. Aside from improving the overall efficiency of the power plant, the incorporation of a solar preheating system may significantly decrease fuel usage and, as a result, carbon dioxide emissions. Furthermore, owing to the unavailability of solar energy during the night and overcast hours, thermal storage units may improve the system's dependability while also increasing the contribution of solar energy to the system's output.

PurposeOnline food ordering apps (OFOAs) have become increasingly popular, and consumers have widely recognized their benefits, particularly during pandemics or lockdowns. Despite the growing popularity of OFOAs, little is known about technology acceptance theories and their impact on purchase intention. The current study proposes the amalgamation of three theories to bridge this gap, better explaining customer behaviour toward OFOAs.Design/methodology/approachTo create a model, the researcher applied technology acceptance theories, visibility and purchase intention. To obtain results, the researcher used structural equation modelling (SEM) and moderation analysis on 432 responses obtained through a questionnaire.FindingsAccording to the research, all constructs were found to have a favourable and significant impact on the intention to use OFOAs, except compatibility. The moderating effect of visibility on intent to purchase is shown in the study. The study's findings add to the knowledge of consumer behaviour and practice.Research limitations/implicationsThis work sheds light on technology acceptance theories that ensure that OFOA platforms are used indefinitely. Furthermore, the significance of visibility as a mediator of purchase intention provides a deep insight into customer behaviour.Originality/valueThis model, which combines technology acceptance theories' original constructs with visibility to moderate purchase intention on OFOA platforms, is the first of its type in the current literature. Furthermore, this theoretical progress paves the way for future research.

The paper presents approaches to the survey and use of such unique natural formations as lunar lava tunnels. The most important applied technology pro-posed for use at the stages of design, construction and operation of lunar bases is laser scanning. The capabilities of existing lidar systems allow obtaining spa-tial data on objects and formations on the surface of other planets with high accuracy and efficiency. The issues of practical application of mobile and sta-tionary scanning laser studies of lunar lava tunnels are considered.

Abstract. Geographic services of NATO member states produce standardised topographic maps for geographic support of their foreign missions. The MGCP data are used for the maps creation of the scales of 1:50,000 and 1:100,000. Topographic maps used for military training in own territory mostly remain in original form without full standardisation. NATO with support of the Defence Geospatial Information Working Group prepares a new standard for the Defence Topographic Map. The geographic service of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic has started the preparation process of the new topographic maps edition compliant with the new standard. Two prototypes of map sheets of scales of 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 were created in 2020, which serve for basic verification of map content symbolisation and applied technology. Procedures for generalization of the map content for the scale of 1:100,000 will be completed in next two years.

The article concerns the experimental building in raw-earth technologies situated in Ecological Park in Pasłęk, in the northeast part of Poland with rather severe climate characteristics for middle and east Europe. The purpose of the designing and realization of the building was to demonstrate the methods of construction in traditional raw-earth technologies with current modifications and then to create the possibility for long-term research and observations at the site visits during the buildings’ exploitation. The building was designed as energy efficient with a passive solar system, green roof, and space arrangement. Construction effects of exploitation were checked. Also, physical aspects were analyzed and thermal-humidity environmental parameters were measured with specialized equipment. Examples of such measurements with appropriate conclusion are presented. Based on the analyses, the authors evaluate the resilience of the applied technology under the given climate conditions, as one of the possible sustainability technologies that can be used in Poland under given restrictions.

Metal structures depending on the operating conditions, react with the aggressive part of the environment and as a result corrode. This corrosion not only leads to the loss of large amounts of money, but also to ecological problems. Corrosion processes require the development of economically efficient and environmentally safe, highly effective anti-corrosion materials. Therefore, the extension of the service life of metal equipment, the creation of corrosion inhibitors, conservation fluids and lubricants with different compositions to increase the quality and efficiency of work in production processes are promising areas. Extensive research of inhibitors as a means of protection against corrosion in conservation fluids is based on the economic and simple structure of the applied technology. Thus, when using this method, the addition of small amounts of substances with an inhibitory effect to the aggressive system, without any changes in the existing technological system is sufficient for long-term protection of the metal. Therefore, in modern times, the safest method to protect metals from corrosion is a passive protection method that provide inhibitors are widely used. Key words: conservation fluids, inhibitor, imidozalin

PT Asuransi Jiwasraya has been facing a crisis since 2020, which later probably demand them to reconstruct their insurance policy. Nothing is decided aside from the reconstruction idea. This is a hard task to deal with as there is a high risk to be borne along. In the worst case, bankruptcy awaits. As technology has taken over most industries, including insurance, it is only normal for the company to take advantage of the applied technology. However, it is still unknown whether the database used could help fulfill the mission. Considering loads of data might be higher by year, it will be more efficient to use the integrated database to transfer the whole data into a new-adapted database rather than creating a new one and manually adapt then add the data. This could be done by doing a Bottom-up approach that occurs in two big steps. This is the safest choice now which is handy and possible.
