Introduction. Lately, medical services have reported a lot of cases caused by taking Tropicamide alone or with other drugs together. Moreover, it has been declared that the increase in the number of resistance cases to Tropicamide consumption has. Due to those facts, Tropicamide was included in the List of Drugs for Medical Use that should be served by the prescriptions in 2015. However, nowadays in Russia there are many combinations of medicines, for instance, Tropicamide and α-adrenergic agonist (phenylephrine) (Midrimax, Fenikamid, Appamide plus) that are not under that regulation. As a result, those medicines are served in pharmacies without any prescriptions. Thus, method developing for Tropicamide determination in the hair samples to establish his consumption period has become a perspective one.Aim. The research aimed to develop a method for the isolation and determination of Tropicamide in the hair samples.Materials and method. Reference standard of Tropicamide was used in this research. The following enzymes – papain, chymopsin, chymotrypsin, and hyaluronidase – were applied in the experiment. To design the long-term consumption of Tropicamide, laboratory animals (Guinea pigs, average masses about 200 – 250 g) with fair and brown nature colour hair were used in this research. The hair of laboratory animals was dyed by professional hair-dye "Estel Professional De Luxe". The following equipment was applied: balance "Sartorius СР224S", pH-meter " FiveEasy ", ball mill Retsch MM-200. The hair samples extracts were analyzed by gas chromatography with mass selective detection (Gas chromatograph model 7890А with mass selective detector model 5977 and MassHunter GC/MS software by Agilent Technologies).Results and discussion. All developed methods of enzymatic hydrolysis (by papain, chymopsin, chymotrypsin, and hyaluronidase) revealed comparable results for the Tropicamide determination in the hair samples. The research showed that the amount of the analyte isolated from the pigmented hair was a bit higher in comparison with the other hair samples (fair hair), despite the melanin gives chemical steadiness property to hair stuff. Moreover, the amount of Tropicamide extracted from the dyed hair samples increased by 30 %. The degradation products of the analyte of interest were not found in the extracts obtained for the dyed hair samples. Thus, the colorant does not destroy the xenobiotic during the hair dying procedure and does not impact the enzymatic hydrolysis process. The values of the validation parameters (precision and accuracy) met the required criteria for bioanalytical methods. Therefore, the enzymatic hydrolysis method can be recommended for application in laboratory practice.Conclusion. In the course of the study, a method for laboratory diagnostics of non-drug use of tropicamide was developed, the reproducibility of which meets the acceptance criteria for bioanalytical methods, which makes it possible to recommend it for work in laboratory practice.

Higher Education has the function of developing capabilities in order to educate the nation's life in accordance with Law Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe in depth through a field study of the quality manajement of midwifery clinical laboratories in increasing the competence of graduates (case studies of midwifery practice at Polytechnic Bhakti Asih Purwakarta and Stikes Kharisma Karawang. The research method in this dissertation used a qualitative approach. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation study. The data of this study were checked for correctness and reliability through the triangulation process. Based on the results of the research, the implementation process of the midwifery clinical laboratory practice learning at the Bhakti Asih Polytechnic of Purwakarta and Stikes Kharisma Karawang went well. The method taught to students when conducting laboratory practice simulations makes a positive contribution to student competence and graduate competence. Weak points that arise in the implementation of learning are limitations in the infrastructure and facilities in each institution, and practice supervisors are still lacking in clinical experience in the field so that manajement has an impact on the quality of midwifery clinical laboratory manajement.

ABSTRAKLaboratorium kimia merupakan salah satu jenis laboratorium yang memiliki resiko sangat berbahaya dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan, penelitian dan/atau pengabdian kepada masyarakat, sehingga laboratorium harus dikelola dan digunakan secara baik dan bijaksana. Pengoperasian peralatan sebagai salah satu aktivitas Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) merupakan aktivitas secara rutin dilakukan di laboratorium kimia. GLP dapat mewujudkan keselamatan kerja di laboratorium dan meminimalisir kerusakan peralatan akibat kesalahan operasi dan pemeliharaan instrumen. Kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah demo peralatan/instrumentasi Laboratorium Kimia Analitik FMIPA–Universitas Mataram. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan yang berupa demo peralatan/instrumentasi meliputi kromatografi gas–spektroskopi massa (GC-MS), kromatografi cair kinerja tinggi (KCKT), spektrometer serapan atom (SSA) dan infra merah (FTIR). Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dasar mitra dalam pengoperasian instrumentasi tersebut. Mitra kegiatan adalah 20 mahasiswa program studi Kimia semester lanjut (5-8). Keberhasilan kegiatan diukur dengan membandingkan skor tes mitra sebelum dan setelah kegiatan dilakukan. Kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung baik dan menghasilkan peningkatan pemahaman serta keterampilan mitra dalam mengoperasikan instrumen yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan skor tes mitra. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mewujudkan GLP sehingga kegiatan penelitian dilakukan dengan aman dan efisien. Kata kunci: pelatihan; instrumen; good laboratory practise; mahasiswa. ABSTRACTChemical laboratory is one type of laboratory that has a very dangerous risk in the implementation of education, research and/or community service, so the laboratory must be managed and used properly and wisely. Equipment operation as one of the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) activities is a routine activity carried out in chemical laboratory. GLP could realize work safety in laboratory and minimize instrument operation and maintenance mistake This community service activity was a demonstration of instrumentation of the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory, FMIPA–University of Mataram. The method of activity carried out are training and assistance in form of instrument demo including gas chromatography–mass spectroscopy (GC-MS), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC or HPLC), atomic absorption spectrometer (SSA or AAS) and infrared spectrometer (FTIR). This activity is carried to improve basic skill of partner in operating of instruments. The activity partners are 20 students of the advanced semester (5-8th semester) in Departement of Chemistry. The success of activity was measured by comparing the partner’s test score before and after the activity was carried out.The service activity went well and could increase the partners' understanding and skills in operating the instrument. This activity is expected to realize the GLP so that research activities are carried out safely and efficiently. Keywords: training; instrument; good laboratory practice; student.

Three forms of interaction between teacher and students, which have become widespread, are described. The main purpose of the work is to study the fundamental differences between games and gamification in order to identify and modify the most effective methods for introducing active learning elements in the educational process. After decomposition of games and gamification, the following features of activities were revealed. Already at this stage, differences are noticeable between the goals of games where you need to win, and gamification – to learn. It is shown that the selection of optimal game mechanics, to improve the learning process, was carried out according to subjective criteria, and the result according to objective – academic performance, aimed at students of technical specialties. Thus, repeated studies for groups of other specialties can give different, but no less interesting situations. It was found that the use of game scenarios during a laboratory practice objectively increases academic performance, thereby increasing the formation of skills and abilities of professional competencies.

Abstract Currently, there are quite serious problems in the methodology of conducting petrophysical studies. These problems have a significant impact on the process profitability of obtaining analysis results. Improving the efficiency of laboratory analyses is an important direction towards enhancement of the methodological approaches used in the laboratory practice. Automation of the process of recording the volume of water displaced from the chamber of a group capillarimeter while determining the water saturation of standard and full-size core samples is analyzed.
