BackgroundIt was widely accepted that programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) positive, tumor mutational burden-high (TMB-H) or microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) tumor are prone to have better treatment response to immune checkpoint blockade. The value of immune checkpoint blockade in PD-L1 negative gastric cancer patients has been questioned due to lower objective response rate (ORR).Case PresentationWe report an unusual case of a PD-L1 negative, proficient mismatch repair (pMMR)/microsatellite stability (MSS), tumor mutational burden-low (TMB-L) gastric cancer patient who achieved good response to immune checkpoint blockade after failure of systematic treatment. Multiple lymph nodes and bone metastases are the main characteristics of this patient. The patient survived for more than 30 months after diagnosis.ConclusionsThis case suggested that PD-L1 negative gastric cancer patient may also benefit from immune checkpoint blockade. In gastric cancer, patients with lymph node metastasis may be potential beneficiaries.

In this paper, we present a systematic treatment of a [Formula: see text] qubit in the presence of a time-dependent external flux. A gauge-invariant Lagrangian and the corresponding Hamiltonian are obtained. The effect of the flux noise on the qubit relaxation is obtained using the perturbation theory. Under a time-dependent drive of sinusoidal form, the survival probability, and transition probabilities have been studied for different strengths and frequencies. The driven qubit is shown to possess coherent oscillations among two distinct states for a weak to moderate strength close to resonant frequencies of the unperturbed qubit. The parameters can be chosen to prepare the system in its ground state. This feature paves the way to prolong the lifetime by combining ideas from weak measurement and quantum Zeno effect. We believe that this is an important variation of a topologically protected qubit which is tunable.

In the present article I examine the extant horoscopes of three kings of Hungary, Ladislaus the Posthumous (1440–1457), his successor, Matthias Corvinus (1458–1490), and Louis II (1516–1526). Several of these horoscopes were little used by or completely unknown to modern historians, and a systematic treatment of them was a desiderata in the Hungarian scholarship for a long time. Although when examining sixteenth-century geniture collections the exact source and transmission history of a single horoscope is often difficult to reconstruct, in some cases the source of nativity horoscopes can be traced back from Johannes Kepler through Paul Eber, Georg Joachim Rheticus, Philipp Melanchthon and Johannes Schöner to Johannes Regiomontanus and Georg von Peuerbach.

Tetralogy of Fallot with unilateral pulmonary anomalies such as the unilateral absence of pulmonary artery or unilateral pulmonary agenesis is an extremely rare complex congenital heart anomaly. There is no established surgical algorithm for tetralogy of Fallot with concomitant unilateral pulmonary anomalies. This condition is still challenging, especially in the surgical field. In this review we also present our experiences in our center, Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia. This literature review aimed to discuss systematic treatment options and hoped to help the decision-making process when surgeons face these rare anomalies.

This chapter argues that Cavell’s treatise on film is a highly organized and systematic treatment of the cinema. After setting out the structure of Cavell’s book at length, the chapter critically assesses the book’s key conclusions.

On the Genealogy of Morality stands out among Nietzsche’s works as his most cohesive and self-contained book. Each of its three essays is devoted to an explicitly stated topic, which it subjects to a fairly sustained and systematic treatment. The topics are unified insofar as they are the conceptual elements of a coherent outlook. And the essays devoted to them turn out to be linked in various ways: each draws on the findings of the others, while also shedding light on them. The contrast with Nietzsche’s other writings is striking, and fuels the expectation that a clearly delineated, well worked-out critical analysis of morality can be found in the book. Moreover, the book makes some arresting claims about morality: most prominently, that its invention is an act of revenge....

In this review, the scope of morphological diversity of fruits within the class Liliopsida belonging to the flora of Ukraine compared to the world flora diversity was analyzed. For the first time, the taxonomic diversity of monocot plants of the flora of Ukraine was analyzed, which includes 235 genera and about 1050 species, and the distribution of fruit types in the largest monocot families revealed. It was found that among monocot plants of the world flora, as also of the Ukrainian flora, more than 70% of generic and species diversity is taken up by the Orchidaceae, Poaceae, and Cyperaceae families having dry uniform fruits: inferior capsule (Orchidaceae) and one-seeded enveloped fruit (Poaceae and Cyperaceae). An annotated list of morphological fruit types was compiled for all 38 families of the natural and cultural flora of monocot plants of Ukraine. Among 12 families of the subclass Alismatidae, apocarpous polymerous or trimerous fruits, mostly with one-seeded fruitlets, occur in six families (Alismataceae, Butomaceae, Potamogetonaceae, Ruppiaceae, Scheuchzeriaceae, Zannichelliaceae). In 12 of 16 families of the subclass Liliidae, trimerous capsules are the most common (Agapanthaceae, Agavaceae, Alliaceae, Amaryllidaceae, Asphodelaceae, Colchicaceae, Hemerocallidacae, Hyacinthaceae, Iridaceae, Liliасеае, Melanthiaceae, Orchidaceae), while in six families berry-like fruit occurs in all members or in the single genus (Asparagaceae, Ruscaceae, Dioscoreaceae, Melanthiaceae (Paris), Liliасеае (Streptopus), Smilacaceae). Among 10 families of the subclass Commelinidae, in four families superior dry one-seeded fruits occur (Cyperaceae, Poaceae, Sparganiaceae, Typhaceae), while another four families have trimerous capsules (Cannaceae, Commelinaceae, Juncaceae, Pontederiaceae). In general, the most typical fruit on the familial taxonomical level is the capsule (17 families), berries occur in 10 families, aggregate fruits and one-seeded fruits are represented each in seven families, while the rarest fruit type is the schizocarp (Juncaginaceae). No monomerous follicles, poricide and operculate capsules, winged fruits and loments were found. The most controversial fruit types are found in two groups of families, for both of them the problem is the gynoecium type. These are families with one-seeded fruit (Аrасеае (Lemna), Cyperaceae, Hydrocharitaceae (Najas), Poaceae, Sparganiaceae, Typhaceae, Zosteraceae) and families with initial carpel fusion (Hydrocharitaceae (Stratiotes), Juncaginaceae, Melanthiaceae (Veratrum), Scheuchzeriaceae, Tofieldiaceae). As a result of our work, the key and the most relevant areas of carpological studies in Ukraine were defined, particularly, unifying the terminology, examination of the anatomical structure of the pericarp, revealing of the evolutionary and ecological aspects of fruit morphology.
