Процессы генезиса хвойных лесов интенсивно изучаются с использованием методов молекулярного маркирования. Микросателлитные локусы рассматриваются в качестве наиболее полиморфной и воспроизводимой системы кодоминантных молекулярных маркеров. В цели исследования входило установить возможность использования микросателлитных маркеров для определения видовых различий между елью европейской и сибирской (Picea abies и Picea obovatа), а также оценить степень генетической обособленности региональных популяций ели на территории Европейской части РФ. Исследование показало, что использование набора из двенадцати микросателлитных маркеров позволяет разделить выборку елей, собранных с европейской и азиатской частей страны, на два генетических кластера, соответствующих видам Picea abies и Picea obovatа. Проанализированные в исследовании микросателлитные локусы могут быть использованы для оценки генетического разнообразия и географического происхождения ели европейской и сибирской. The processes of genesis of coniferous forests are widely investigating using molecular markers. Many studies are based on the analysis of microsatellite loci, which are acknowledged as the most reproducible and polymorphic co-dominant molecular markers. This study is aimed to establish the possibility of using microsatellite markers to determine differentiation between Norway and Siberian spruce (Picea abies and Picea obovata). Another task of this research was to assess the degree of genetic isolation of regional spruce population in the territory of European part of the Russian Federation. This study shows that using a large number of microsatellite markers allows to divide the sample of spruce collected from European part of Russia and Siberia in two genetic clusters, corresponding to Picea abies and Picea obovata. The microsatellite loci analyzed in the study can be used to assess genetic diversity and geographic origin of spruce trees and determine the origin of wood and planting material of Norway and Siberian spruce.

This work presents research materials, the purpose of which is to grow seedlings of coniferous trees in the open field using artificial substrates of mycorrhizal macromycetes in forest nurseries of Central, North and Northeast Kazakhstan. The success of mycorrhiza formation in seedlings Pinus sylvestris and Picea obovata from forest nurseries of Akmola and Karaganda regions, and the survival rate of seedlings from forest nurseries of Akmola, Karaganda and Pavlodar regions of Kazakhstan are analysed. In the future, we want to expand the range of studied species and compare artificially mycorrhized seedlings with naturally mycorrhized species from natural forests. If we compare the survival rate of seedlings in nurseries, the highest in P. sylvestris seedlings in Shaldai is about 78%, low in Novodolenskoe, about 27%, and for P. obovata, on average, 66%. In the future, we want to expand the range of studied species and compare artificially mycorrhized seedlings with naturally mycorrhized species from natural forests.

Picea obovata Ledeb. is a slow-growing in the early stages of growth type of coniferous trees. The use of growth stimulants in the cultivation of spruce seedlings can accelerate the production of standard planting material. The paper presents the results of research of plant growth regulators influence on spruce seedlings within three years of cultivation in forest nursery conditions. Before sowing seeds of spruce soak in solutions of biological-active preparations Verva and Verva-spruce, obtaining from Abies and Picea wood greenery extracts. The plants growth regulator Verva from Abies needles (operating substance – triterpenic acids) is applied in plant growing at cultivation agricultural and commercial crops. Operating substance of a preparation Verva-spruce used for protection of agricultural plants from diseases, are phenolic compounds of Picea wood greenery possessing fungicidal and insecticidal activity. It is established that spruce seedlings processed before sowing by bio-preparation had higher parameters of growth (seedling height, diameter of seedling tree at root neck) in comparison with control plants within three years of cultivation in conditions of forest nursery. Three-year spruce seedlings which have been grown up with use of growth stimulators Verva and Verva-spruce exceeded control on 20–30% on height and on 19–20% on seedling tree thickness.  Bio-preparations Verva and Verva-spruce can be recommended for application in forest nurseries as effective growth stimulators at cultivation of Siberian spruce landing material.

The paper presents the results of seed and vegetative reproduction of woody and shrubby introduced plantsincluded in the List of Objects of the plant world listed in the Red Book of the Trans-Baikal Territory. The objects of thestudy are red-book woody and shrubby plants growing on the territory of the arboretum: Picea obovata var. coeruleaMalyschev; Euonymus maackii Rupr.; Corylus heterophylla Fisch. ex Trautv.; Armeniaca sibirica (L.) Lam. The aim of thestudy is to preserve the gene pool of red-book woody and shrubby plants-introduced by seed and vegetative reproduction;to study the timing of cuttings, the effect of various root formation stimulators on the rooting process. Special attentionis paid to the development of methods of vegetative reproduction with the use of various growth stimulators, taking intoaccount the weather conditions of the Trans-Baikal Territory on coniferous and deciduous species. The features and termsof harvesting cuttings are studied. As a result, a favorable period for the process of rooting of coniferous species wasnoted – the phenophase “bud swelling”. The greatest number of roots was formed in cuttings harvested with a “heel”, nottreated with root formation stimulators (“control”). The greatest rooting of green cuttings of shrub species was observed inexperiments with the use of “Kornevin”. Propagation of Armeniaca sibirica showed good results by seed method.

The study examined the growth characteristics of the Siberian spruce (Picea obovata Ledeb.) under the canopy of coniferous forests in early ontogeny. We revealed that spruce undergrowth in adverse conditions is suppressed, is slow to grow and has xylorhizomes. The result is a significant difference in height, age and stage of ontogeny that affects the forest’s growth dynamics. The formation of xylorhizomes changes the relative dimensions of the above-ground part and the plant’s absolute height from 42 to 75%, depending on age. We identified two periods of growth intensity (slow and stable) and the critical age for spruce undergrowth to move from one stage of ontogeny to the next. If it does not make the transition, it will die. There are two strategies for developing spruce undergrowth: a “direct” path during rapid growth and a “waiting” path when the plants are suppressed. Such growth pathways in the pre-generative stage of the Siberian spruce’s ontogeny allow the undergrowth, even in a suppressed state, to survive in an adverse environment under the forest canopy.

The study was carried out in four forest nurseries of Middle Siberia. Affected seedlings of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), Scots Siberian stone pine (Pinus sibirica Du Tour), and Siberian spruce (Picea obovata Ledeb.) were collected for molecular phytopathological examination. In total, 14 fungal taxa were identified in the needles and roots of the plants. The most dominant among them were Sydowia polyspora (Bref. & Tavel) E., Didymella glomerata (Corda) Qian Chen & L. Cai, Cladosporium herbarum (Pers.) Link, Lophodermium seditiosum Minter, Staley & Millar, Phialocephala fortinii C. J. K. Wang & H. E. Wilcox and Cadophora finlandica (C. J. K. Wang & H. E. Wilcox) T. C. Harr. & McNew. The richness of the fungal taxa was higher in the needles than in the roots of all the tree species studied. The obtained results could be used for implementing more effective phytosanitary measures in the studied nurseries.

Изучали характер и масштаб сезонных изменений пигментного состава хвои разных видов ели (Picea A. Dietr.) в условиях интродукции в Нижегородскую область, выявляли содержание и баланс пластидных пигментов фотосинтеза. Объектами исследования выступали 13 видов ели, относящихся к аборигенам и экзотам: ель европейская (Picea abies (L.) H. Karst.); ель сибирская (Picea obovata Ledeb.); ель Глена (Picea glehnii (F. Schmidt) Mast.); ель белая (Picea glauca (Moench) Voss); ель шероховатая (Picea asperata Masters); ель черная (Picea mariana Mill., Britton, Sterns & Poggenburg); ель колючая форма серебристая (Picea pungens Engelm., f. argentea); ель колючая форма голубая (Picea pungens Engelm., f. glauca Regel); ель сербская (Picea omorika (Pančić) Purk.); ель Энгельмана (Picea engelmannii Parry ex Engelm.); ель колючая (Picea pungens Engelm.); ель аянская (Picea jezoensis (Siebold & Zucc.) Carrière); ель корейская (Picea koraiensis Nakai). Отбор проб осуществлен рендомизированно с соблюдением принципа единственного логического различия. Использовали спектрофотометр СФ-2000. Установлено, что содержание и соотношение пластидных пигментов в хвое динамично в течение года. Определена эффективность влияния фаз сезонного развития растений на характеристики пигментного состава: по содержанию хлорофилла-a – 18,86±0,32%; по содержанию хлорофилла-b – 21,26±0,31%; по сумме хлорофиллов – 16,13±0,33%; по каротиноидам – 37,43±0,25%; по доле хлорофилла-a – 39,74±0,24% и доле хлорофилла-b – 39,74±0,24%. Эффект влияния межвидовых различий по показателям содержания и соотношения разных форм хлорофилла и каротиноидов достоверен и в достаточной мере выравнен при максимуме 23,56±0,91%. При общих тенденциях в сезонной динамике представители рода ель обладают заметной видоспецифичностью пигментного состава. We studied the nature and scale of seasonal changes in the pigment composition of needles of different spruce species (Picea A. Dietr.) under the conditions of introduction to the Nizhny Novgorod region, and revealed the content and balance of photosynthetic plastid pigments. The objects of the study were 13 species of spruce belonging to aborigines and exotics: Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) H. Karst.); Siberian spruce (Picea obovata Ledeb.); Glen spruce (Picea glehnii (F. Schmidt) Mast.); white spruce (Picea glauca (Moench) Voss); Dragon spruce (Picea asperata Masters); black spruce (Picea mariana Mill., Britton, Sterns & Poggenburg); silver prickly spruce (Picea pungens Engelm., f. argentea); blue prickly spruce (Picea pungens Engelm., f. glauca Regel); Serbian spruce (Picea omorika (Pančić) Purk.); Engelman spruce (Picea engelmannii Parry ex Engelm.); Blue spruce (Picea pungens engelm.); Ayan spruce (Picea jezoensis (Siebold & Zucc.) carrière); Korean spruce (Picea koraiensis Nakai). Sampling was carried out in a randomized manner, following the principle of a single logical difference. A spectrophotometer SF-2000 was used. It was found that the content and ratio of plastid pigments in conifers is dynamic throughout the year. The effectiveness of the influence of the phases of seasonal plant development on the characteristics of the pigment composition is determined: by the content of chlorophyll-a-18.86±0.32%; by the content of chlorophyll-b-21.26±0.31%; by the sum of chlorophylls-16.13±0.33%; by carotenoids – 37.43±0.25%; by the proportion of chlorophyll-a – 39.74±0.24% and the proportion of chlorophyll-b – 39.74±0.24%. The effect of interspecific differences in the content and ratio of different forms of chlorophyll and carotenoids is significant and sufficiently equalized at a maximum of 23.56±0.91%. With General trends in seasonal dynamics, representatives of the spruce genus have a noticeable species-specific pigment composition.
