The present study examined relations between supervisory alliance and fidelity to the trauma narrative component of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as how supervisory alliance might moderate the effect of behavioral rehearsals (i.e., role plays) on fidelity. Forty-two supervisors and 124clinicians from 28 different community-based mental health offices across Washington State participated.Clinicians were randomized to receive one of two supervision conditions—symptom and fidelity monitoring or symptom and fidelity monitoring with behavioral rehearsal. Supervisory alliance alone did not predict adherence or extensiveness of the trauma narrative. One aspect of alliance, client focus, significantly altered the effect of supervision condition on adherence (p=0.05); however, this effect was only seen in 43.5% of clinicians. A second aspect of alliance, rapport, altered the effect of condition on trauma narrative extensiveness with moderate significance (p=0.09). Future research should investigate strategies to improve supervisory alliance or match supervision strategies to specific supervisor-clinician dyads.

They were then analyzed using normality testing, homogeneity, data nominality testing, gain score and hypothesis testing. The findings of this research indicated that group counseling through behavioral rehearsal techniques could overcome the problem of social anxiety experienced by students. In the pretest, the research showed that the social anxiety level of students in the experimental group was in the high category, and the control group was in the medium category. While the posttests of both experimental and control groups were in the very low category. Behavioral rehearsal techniques should be informational and practical in the development of knowledge, especially in dealing with the problems of social anxiety.

Many adolescents with developmental disabilities do not learn the safety skills needed to maintain physical well-being in domestic and community environments. Literacy-based behavioral interventions (LBBIs) that combine print, pictures, and behavioral rehearsal are effective for promoting acquisition and maintenance of self-care skills, but have not been investigated as safety skill intervention. Also, LBBIs have primarily been implemented by teachers and other professionals. In this study, a peer partner was taught to deliver an LBBI story to students so they would learn to perform a basic first aid routine: cleaning and dressing a wound. Results showed that students’ accuracy with the first aid routine increased after a peer delivered the LBBI instructional package, and maintained after the peer stopped delivering it. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of the LBBI instructional package for teaching first aid safety skills, and extends previous research showing the efficacy of peers in delivering this intervention.
