Measuring the viscosity and density of petroleum products is important for their proper production, transportation and application. Viscosity and density are the main parameters determining the composition and structure of petroleum products. Therefore, in the industry, to control the quality of petroleum products during various technological processes, automatic and non-automatic devices are used for their measurement. The accuracy of measuring the viscosity and density of petroleum products is an important factor. The authors analyzed different methods of measuring the viscosity and density of petroleum products and synthesized three versions of throttle bridge transducers. These versions implement differential measurement methods and have different numbers of laminar and turbulent throttles. The authors obtained new equations of static conversion functions by channels of measuring the kinematic viscosity and density of petroleum products of the proposed throttle bridge transducers. The authors developed a block diagram and designed measuring equipment to study experimentally the static characteristics of the throttle bridge transducers. The authors determined that the maximal relative deviations of the results of experimental studies from numerical calculations of a static conversion factor by channels of kinematic viscosity and density were 5.88% and 8.76%, respectively. The authors developed two versions of automatic devices for measuring the kinematic viscosity and density of petroleum products based on the proposed throttle bridge transducers. The first version is an automatic analyzer with tracking astatic balancing. The second version is an automatic analyzer with deployment balancing. The authors developed constructions of both versions of automatic analyzers and obtained the results of experimental measuring of the kinematic viscosity and density of petroleum products in different ranges.

von Willebrand disease (VWD) is reportedly the most common inherited bleeding disorder. This disorder develops as a result of defects and/or deficiency of the plasma protein von Willebrand factor (VWF). Laboratory testing for VWF-related disorders requires the assessment of both VWF level and VWF activity, the latter requiring multiple assays. As an additional step, an evaluation of VWF structural features by multimer analysis is useful in selective investigations. Multimer analysis is also important for the selection of a suitable VWF therapy preparation (desmopressin, VWF/FVIII concentrate, recombinant VWF) and the determination of the correct dose for the patient. Based on clinical and laboratory findings, including the analysis of VWF multimers, we classified our patients into individual types of VWD. Our study group included 58 patients. The study group consisted of 66% (38 patients) with VWD type 1, 5% (3 patients) with VWD type 2, 7% (4 patients) with VWD type 3, 5% (3 patients) with mixed type 1/2A VWD, and 17% (10 patients) comprising an unclassified group. In this article, we provide an overview of our practical experience using a new complementary method—the analysis of von Willebrand factor multimers with a semi-automatic analyzer Hydrasys 2 scan. We explain the principle, procedure, advantages, and pitfalls associated with the introduction of the VWF multimer analysis methodology into standard VWD diagnostics.

The pancreas performs the functions of both external and internal secretion, has a great influence on the growth and development of young cattle. Thus, the function of the external secretion is the synthesis and excretion of juice into the duodenum, which includes digestive enzymes and electrolytes, and the internal secretion is the synthesis and excretion of hormones into the blood. Timely identification of the causes of developing deviations from the norm in the body and the adoption of appropriate measures is due to the fact that when raising cattle at industrial enterprises, diseases are widespread, and the manifestation of clinical signs of the disease in one animal often signals the presence of problems in the entire sex and age population. The aim of our research was to determine the functional state of the pancreas in newborn calves during rehabilitation after antibiotic therapy for dyspepsia. The research was carried out on a farm located on the territory of the Altai Territory. In the course of the research, three experimental groups of calves were formed, in which the clinical, biochemical and morphological status was studied. To obtain the results of biochemical studies, a biochemical semi-automatic analyzer with an open Clima MC – 15, RAL system was used, and for morphological studies, an automatic analyzer with a closed MicroCC-20Plus system was used. In the course of the research, it was found that the studied indicators blood samples indicate a violation of intestinal absorption and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency caused by dyspepsia and subsequent antibiotic therapy, while calves from the experimental group receiving the probiotic complex Vetom 1.2 showed better dynamics in restoring homeostasis after the disease.

The development of a microscopy combine designed to automate the analysis of complex morphological objects is presented. Automatic tecniques of combine analysis form the results of the “preclassification” class with the control of automatic results by the user. The harvester has means of automatic adaptation to the current slide and to the population of objects of analysis presented in the streams of slides served by the team of combines of laboratories. Local adaptation optimizes the quality and speed of the slide scanning. Adaptation to the population of objects of analysis is carried out by training neural networks of combine analyzers using a common database of automatic preclassification adjustments by qualified laboratory users. Training is used to increase the accuracy of preclassification with the ultimate goal of creating a stand-alone analyzer without user control.

This article deals with calculation possibilities and the control of basic parameters of beer on the basis of knowledge of two parameters. The importance of this method increases with the development of craft beer production in our country (mini-breweries, home brewing). The calculations are based on Balling's equations, alcohol factors and attenuation quotients, which have been published unchanged since at least 1876. In Balling's time, they were used to determine an extract with a specific gravities of 17.5 °C/17.5 °C. In current brewing, specific gravities of 20 °C/20 °C are used. For this reason, new alcohol factors of apparent attenuation were derived, and based on linear regression, regression coefficients of the dependence of the alcohol factor of apparent attenuation on the extract in original wort were calculated. Some variants of calculations based on two input parameters were incorporated into the beer composition calculator using formulas that replace extract and alcohol tables. The accuracy of the results from the calculator was checked with analyses from the Anton Paar automatic analyzer and with analyses obtained by the distillation method. Kanker payudara atau Carcinoma mammae adalah merupakan masalah utama kesehatan wanita di dunia, karena morbiditas dan mortalitas yang tinggi. Untuk mengurangi morbiditas dan mortalitas yang tinggi diperlukan pengobatan yang tepat salah satunya kemoterapi. Kemoterapi ini bekerja pada sel-sel kanker payudara dan sel-sel yang aktif membelah di karenakan penggunaan obat-obatan yang bersifat sitoksik sehingga kemoterapi sering menimbulkan efek samping seperti mielosupresi. Mielosupresi adalah penurunan sel-sel darah salah satunya leukosit. Leukosit merupakan sistem pertahanan tubuh yang dapat mendeteksi masuknya mikroorganisme serta virus kedalam tubuh. Hal ini akan memperburuk keadaan pasien dan mengancam kelangsungan hidup pasien. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat observasi laboratorik untuk mengetahui jumlah leukosit pada penderita kanker payudara pasca kemoterapi. metode yang digunakan dalam pemeriksaan ini yaitu automatic analyzer dengan menggunakan alat mindray BC-3600 dengan jumlah 5 sampel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa jumlah leukosit pada sampel kanker payudara pasca kemoterapi mengalami laukopenia atau penurunan.
