The problem of synthesis and optimisation of logical reversible and quantum circuits from functional descriptions represented as decision diagrams is considered. It is one of the key problems being solved with the aim of creating quantum computing technology and quantum computers. A new method of stepwise transformation of the initial functional specification to a quantum circuit is proposed, which provides for the following project states: reduced ordered binary decision diagram, if-decision diagram, functional if-decision diagram, reversible circuit and quantum circuit. The novelty of the method consists in extending the Shannon and Davio expansions of a Boolean function on a single variable to the expansions of the same Boolean function on another function with obtaining decomposition products that are represented by incompletely defined Boolean functions. Uncertainty in the decomposition products gives remarkable opportunities for minimising the graph representation of the specified function. Instead of two outgoing branches of the binary diagram vertex, three outgoing branches of the if-diagram vertex are generated, which increase the level of parallelism in reversible and quantum circuits. For each transformation step, appropriate mapping rules are proposed that reduce the number of lines, gates and the depth of the reversible and quantum circuit. The comparison of new results with the results given by the known method of mapping the vertices of binary decision diagram into cascades of reversible and quantum gates shows a significant improvement in the quality of quantum circuits that are synthesised by the proposed method.

Alloy design of Cr-Co-Ni-Ta eutectic medium entropy alloys (EMEAs) was performed through a CALPHAD method coupled with experimental study, with the aim to attain high phase stability as well as excellent mechanical properties. Based on calculated pseudo-binary diagram, CrCoNiTax (x = 0.1, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.7) medium entropy alloys were investigated. Two phases, FCC solid solution and Laves phase, were identified in the alloys. With increasing Ta content, the volume fraction of hard and brittle Laves phase increased, microstructure changed from hypoeutectic (Ta0.1, Ta0.3) to eutectic (Ta0.4) and then to hypereutectic (Ta0.5, Ta0.7). The stability of phases was assessed by considering the thermodynamic parameter Ω and valence electron concentration (VEC). The eutectic phases become stable when 1.42 < Ω < 0.74 and 7.5 < VEC < 8.25. In addition, based on nanoindentation, the results indicated that solid solution strengthening in γ phase was significantly enhanced, eutectic phase in CrCoNiTa0.4 EMEA was found to process the highest microhardness and elastic modulus. Finally, the hardness of alloys was positively correlated with the content of Ta and the plastic strain of alloys obviously decreased, while the compression strength firstly increased and then decreased. CrCoNiTa0.4 was the most promising alloy with the highest compression strength (2502 MPa) and high plastic strain (20.6%).

Permanent monitoring and remote control of the operation mode of the hydraulic jet pump allows increasing the efficiency of the hydrajet mode of oil wells operation. Based on the analysis of the workflow of the ejection system, the authors reveal the relation between the density and flow rate of the mixed flow and the operating parameters of the oil hydraulic jet pump in the form of nonlinear dependencies, which make it possible to carry out remote control over the flow rate in the bottomhole circulation circuit. In the process of modeling the hydraulic relations between the elements of the ejection system, a binary diagram is constructed. This binary diagram is created in the form of two combined quadrants and presents the obtained regularities between the parameters of the mixed flow at the well outlet and the operation mode of the jet pump. The authors present the method of remote control over the operation mode of a well ejection system by means of varying the flow-rate of power fluid directed to the well by a ground pump unit and by means of changing the dimensions of the components of the flowing part of the jet pump. The regulation of the operation mode of the hydraulic jet pump occurs by changing the position of the operating point of the pumping unit. In the process of regulating the operation mode of the jet pump by changing the operating flow rate, the authors obtain a series of characteristics of the hydraulic system which determine the coordinates of the operating point of the pumping unit. Adjusting the operation mode of the ejection system by changing the dimensions of the components of the flowing part of the jet pump involves creating a series of its own characteristics with constant characteristics of its hydraulic system. The replacement of the components of the flowing part of the jet pump is carried out in a hydraulic way and does not require round-trip operations in the well. The authors present the graphical interpretation of the proposed methods of regulating the operation mode of the well ejection system in the form of combined characteristics of the jet pump and its hydraulic system built in the single system of coordinates.

With the growing intricacy in data engendered and processed across sundry platforms today, the desideratum for consistency has grown. Structured data is utilized for a number of purposes which is not feasible with unstructured data. The purpose of this study was to convert data from unstructured format to structured in portable document format with the help of new framework using the concept of Binary Decision Diagrams and Boolean operations. Binary decision diagrams are data structures for representing Boolean functions taking Boolean as input and generating Boolean as output and hence creating a binary diagram. This research is mainly carried out to show how we can store large number of data easily in the form of bits. The entire focus is on retrieving the meaningful information from unstructured textual data in PDF documents using Boolean operations and bag model, thus, saving the meaningful keywords in the form of binary decision trees. Later on clustering the documents based on commonalities between the documents. This research presents a way for increasing the efficiency of converting unstructured data to structured in PDF and saving huge number of data in the form of bits using this novel framework

In this work, we propose two mathematical simulation methods to evaluate the results of conditional preventive maintenance strategies based on controls and inspections with optimal performance. In order to have an optimal availability of the equipment in question, the evaluation of the maintenance strategies associated with the controls will be treated by the method of the fault trees based on the decision binary diagram with the calculation engine ALBIZIA. The maintenance performance associated with inspections will be determined by Petri networks coupled with the Monte Carlo method.

A pseudo-binary phase diagram of the (Bi,Pb)-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system along the Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Can-1CunOx line is constructed. This resulting phase diagram shows three kinds of peritectic reactions, one eutectic reaction and one peritectoid reaction. The equilibrium solid phases in this diagram are the 2201 (n=1), 2212 (n=2), 2223 (n=3) and (Sr,Ca)CuO2 (n→∝) phases. The 2201 phase is solid solution which is stable at 1≤n≤1.2. The eutectic composition point is close to the maximum solid solution composition of the 2201 phase. The temperature interval between the peritectic reaction of L + (Sr,Ca)2CuO3 + (Sr,Ca)CuO2 → 2212 and the eutectic reaction of L → 2201 + 2212 is only about 3°C. For the composition of n=3, CaO and the liquid phase are stable at temperatures above 940°C. During the cooling, these two phases react peritectically to (Sr,Ca)2CuO3. At around 890°C, (Sr,Ca)2CuO3 reacts with the liquid to produce (Sr,Ca)CuO2. At around 865°C, (Sr,Ca)2CuO3 and (Sr,Ca)CuO2 react with the liquid to produce the 2212. The 2223 phase is transformed by a peritectoid reaction of the 2212 phase and residual (Sr,Ca)2CuO3, (Sr,Ca)CuO2.

A fault tree analysis (FTA) is presented as a qualitative method for studying the state of the WT as a system considering to its different sub-systems. The quantitative analysis of the FTA is done by Binary Diagram Decision (BDD). The size of the BDD generated by the transformation from FTA to BDD will depend of the ordering of the FTA events. This work employed the top-down-left-right, the level, and the “and” methods for listing the events. Finally, a classification of the events is done based on their importance measures. The importance measures has been calculated by the Birnbaum (1969), Critically and Structural heuristic methods. A comparative analysis is done, and the main results are presented.
