In the 21st century we live in, technology is developing rapidly. Inevitably, the technologies used in almost every area of daily life will also reflect in the field of education. Educational technologies, which enable students to grasp abstract concepts more easily and facilitate the teaching process for teachers, have increased their impact in schools. The effects of dynamic geometry software on course success, attractiveness, and concretization in mind have been the subject of different studies. Dynamic geometry software that can visualize algebraic expressions with graphics creates an interdisciplinary working environment with its drawing features. Thanks to Geometer’s Sketchpad (GSP), one of this software, students can dynamically create very different patterns and shapes. Students can realize higher-level cognitive learning thanks to the relationships and inferences they make on these shapes. These and similar patterns that emerged thanks to GSP can increase students’ awareness in different fields by combining different disciplines such as history, mathematics and art. In this study, the drawing stages of the tulip motif, which we come across in important architectural works in the Ottoman and Anatolian Seljuk history, which have been the subject of ornament art, are shown via GSP using both the transformation geometry and functions.

Various meaningful generalizations could be obtained after gaining insight into some mathematical assertions from different points of view. Generalizations of two problems from International Mathematical Olympiad papers are shown when the details are combined with the opportunities of the program software „The Geometer’s Sketchpad “ (GSP).

The problem of teaching mathematics in Lithuanian schools envisaged in this article. The teachers often use the teaching methods of behaviourism. The widely used teachingmethods of constructivionism in the world are appearing in Lithuanian schools too. There is talked how mathematics teachers can easier start to use new progressivemethods by using IT in this article. There is reviewing how start to use constructive mathematics teaching methods by using Geometer’s Sketchpad in this article. There was appeared some problems for teachers by using Geometer’s Sketchpad in schools. So these problems help to find new step of investigating Geometer’s Sketchpad in teaching mathematics – to built the various sets of dynamic sketches for teaching and learning mathematics in basic schools. More than 800 dynamic sketches have been developed within 9th and 10th grades mathematics curriculum. Now is preparing set of sketches for 11th and 12th grades. Some constructive methods of teaching mathematic by using these sets of sketches are discussed in this article. The methods of comparative analyze and of synthesis of scientificworks are used in this article.

Students’ mathematical communication skills in Indonesia are still under expectation. The purpose of this study is to know the effect of using Geometer's Sketchpad Software to students’ mathematical communication skill. Collecting data was done using developed mathematical communication instrument. Moreover, 63 students were participated ini this study. The proposed hypothesis in this study is there is an effect in using Geometer's Sketchpad Software to the students’ mathematical communication skills. The independent variable in this research was Software Geometer's Sketchpad, while the dependent variable was mathematical communication ability. The results shows that there is an effect of using Geometer's Sketchpad Software to the students’ mathematical communication skill.

Arguably the teaching and learning of algebra in schools have been perceived as difficult (Looney, 2004) at all levels due to the non-usage of modern technology, especially in Africa. This study sought to explore how the geometer’s sketchpad (GSP) could be used to improve students’ performance in quadratic graphs. The study employed true-experimental (Post-test) design as a strategy of enquiry using Geometer’s Sketchpad application software in which the mixed-method strategy was used in the sampling of the study area, study respondents and analysis. A total of 80 students were sampled for the entire study but 40 for the Experimental Group and 40 for the Control Group not undermining gender fairness. The study revealed a positive improvement in student’s performance after using the Geometer’s Sketchpad Application (GSP) software. The study can confirm that the integration of GSP technology in teaching and learning of quadratics can improve students’ motivation, excitement and concepts understanding.
