Fall-from-height accidents are linked to severe and fatal consequences for impacted workers. A better understanding of the related variables is necessary to improve worker safety. This study analyzed all fall-from-height occupational accidents recorded in Spain from 2009 to 2019, selected significant variables, and evaluated the influence concerning the seriousness of the falls from height. Based on a total of 290,583 fall-from-height accidents, the study shows that a male inexperienced worker in a small company working in a non-habitual workplace is more likely to suffer fatal consequences once the accident happens. An improved knowledge of fall-from-height accidents will improve safety conditions. The workers should be trained and informed about their specific risk depending on the variables analyzed. Safety training should consider more risky profiles. Results from the current study can help identify suitable fall prevention and risk mitigation actions in safety programs for companies.

Job safety was examined as a mediator of the relationship between management safety practices, safety programs, and employee commitment in Ghana's mining sector.  A descriptive study approach was used, specifically a cross-sectional survey. The research discovered a clear link between management safety practices and employee commitment. It was shown that management safety measures had a strong positive association with job safety. Job safety also had a significant positive relationship with employee commitment. The connection between management safety and employee commitment was mediated by job safety.  This study demonstrates how safety at the workplace boosts employees’ commitment in achieving organizational goals. The study advises organizations operating in high-risk environments to adopt industry-wide standard safety practices to ensure employees can develop the sense of attachment required for organizational growth. This can be achieved when management shows concern for employees’ safety. This is the first research to look into the link between management safety practices in the workplace and employee commitment.

The construction sector is recognized as one of the most dangerous industries in the world. The situation is worsening in Iraq, as a result of a lack of attention to safety in the building industry and the poor implementation of safety programs. This research aims to identify the critical safety factors (CSFs) of safety program implementation in the Iraqi construction industry. The CSFs were first identified from a review of literature before being verified by construction practitioners, using semi-structured interviews. A questionnaire, based on the verified CSFs, was distributed to construction practitioners in Iraq. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was used to analyze the quantitative data, and the results show that the CSFs can be categorized into four constructs: worker involvement, safety prevention and control system, safety arrangement, and management commitment. Following that, partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was executed to establish the connection between safety program implementation and overall project success. The result confirms that safety program implementation has a significant, positive impact on project success. This article contributes to knowledge and practice by identifying the CSFs for implementing safety programs in the Iraqi construction industry. The successful implementation of a safety program not only improves safety performance, but also helps to meet other project goals.

The goal of patient safety is one of the requirements that must be applied to the patient safety program in all hospitals. The implementation of patient safety programs is influenced by behavioral factors, namely the actions of nurses. The implementation of patient safety goals at PTPN IV Kebun Laras Hospital, Simalungun Regency is still not maximally implemented, seen from the actions of nurses, namely there are still incidents that endanger patients (KTD and KNC), and not all nurses behave in accordance with SOPs in implementing patient safety goals. The research used observational analytic method with cross sectional design. The samples were 62 nurses. The results showed that supervision variable had an effect on the actions of implementing nurses in the implementation of patient safety at PTPN IV Kebun Laras Hospital, Simalungun Regency. Keywords: Supervision, Nurses, Patient Safety.

From the analysis carried out, the occupational safety and health factors that have a high influence on employee productivity are health program variables, disease prevention and measurement and monitoring with values of 18.19, 0.62, and 0.80. Implementation of safety programs to project division has been well implemented, health program variables, disease prevention and measurement and monitoring have a significant and positive effect together on productivity, pressure management and accident prevention contribute positively but not significantly to the productivity variable. With the significant influence of safety programs on work productivity, the company continues and improves the implementation of safety and requires all employees and contractors to implement safety and health following safety policies and procedures. Safety programs that have not significantly improved the concept of existing programs.

Pregnant workers have more health risks for health problems than other workers. There are different potential hazards in different workplaces. Occupational Health and Safety Programs need to be implemented for pregnant workers in order to avoid work related diseases in various workplaces. This study aims to determine the the implementation of occupational health and safety for pregnant workers in various workplaces. This study uses a qualitative method by conducting FGD (Focus Group Discussion) with pregnant women workers from various workplaces and in-depth interviews with occupational health and safety experts. Occupational health and safety programs have been implemented for pregnant workers such as the right to maternity leave, working hours arrangements, health insurance, and special protection for pregnant workers. However, there are some workplaces that still do not provide special protection for pregnant workers. Every workplace should pay more attention to the health and safety of pregnant workers as an effort to prevent occupational accidents and work related diseases
