Pressure sensor placement is critical to system safety and operation optimization of water supply networks (WSNs). The majority of existing studies focuses on sensitivity or burst identification ability of monitoring systems based on certain specific operating conditions of WSNs, while nodal connectivity or long-term hydraulic fluctuation is not fully considered and analyzed. A new method of pressure sensor placement is proposed in this paper based on Graph Neural Networks. The method mainly consists of two steps: monitoring partition establishment and sensor placement. (1) Structural Deep Clustering Network algorithm is used for clustering analysis with the integration of complicated topological and hydraulic characteristics, and a WSN is divided into several monitoring partitions. (2) Then, sensor placement is carried out based on burst identification analysis, a quantitative metric named “indicator tensor” is developed to calculate hydraulic characteristics in time series, and the node with the maximum average partition perception rate is selected as the sensor in each monitoring partition. The results showed that the proposed method achieved a better monitoring scheme with more balanced distribution of sensors and higher coverage rate for pipe burst detection. This paper offers a new robust framework, which can be easily applied in the decision-making process of monitoring system establishment.

Climate change and human activities have a strong impact on lakes and their catchments, so to understand ongoing processes it is fundamental to monitor environmental variables with a spatially well-distributed and high frequency network and efficiently share data. An effective sharing and interoperability of environmental information between technician and end-user fosters an in-depth knowledge of the territory and its critical environmental issues. In this paper, we present the approaches and the results obtained during the PITAGORA project (Interoperable Technological Platform for Acquisition, Management and Organization of Environmental data, related to the lake basin). PITAGORA was aimed at developing both instruments and data management, including pre-processing and quality control of raw data to ensure that data are findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR principles). The main results show that the developed instrumentation is low-cost, easily implementable and reliable, and can be applied to the measurement of diverse environmental parameters such as meteorological, hydrological, physico-chemical, and geological. The flexibility of the solutions proposed make our system adaptable to different monitoring purposes, research, management, and civil protection. The real time access to environmental information can improve management of a territory and ecosystems, safety of the population, and sustainable socio-economic development.

The purpose of our study was to understand the perception of the postpartum beliefs and customs among Quechua and Aymara mothers in Parenting System. The study is a young children in socio-educational analysis related to postpartum beliefs and customs among Quechua and Aymara mothers, specifically, the analysis was done in the cultural context of indigenous communities, seeking knowledge of the diverse cultural expressions, perceptions, and behaviors of the population around reproductive health processes of educational system, through observation and ethnographic interviews. The sample consisted of 118 mothers whose deliveries were attended in the health and parenting system establishment of the Quechua and Aymara areas, and the process was developed considering five aspects. The results show the presence of a complex cultural system in this stage of life and a set of social and cultural norms such as the use of medicinal plants and learning System in the prevention of encounters with spirits or beings of the Quechua and Aymara cultures. The conceptions of the puerperium in native communities regulate the behavior of its inhabitants, affecting maternal and child health in education system and Parenting System.

Abstract A complete suspension model is established, and the suspension system is simulated and optimized. The method of suspension system establishment and simulation is explained in detail, and the influence of suspension parameter changes on vehicle handling and stability is analyzed in detail. The dynamic simulation analysis of wheel parallel runout test was carried out on the system, and the suspension system was optimized by artificial intelligence algorithm. The research results provide a technical basis for the design of automobile suspension.

Abstract This paper mainly adopts the actor analysis and correspondence analysis in multivariate statistical analysis., for 6 indicators of the main pollutant contents emission in waste gas by 31 cities in China. The results of Factor Analysis showed that with cities in 6 indicators were controlled by two independent factors. The 2 factors, which were determined and named, were f 1, domestic waste gas pollutant emission factor, and f 2, factor of Industrial waste gas pollutant emission. The percentage of accumulated contribution of variances was 85.51%. The result s of correspondence analysis showed that, six indicators and cities which had significant or close relationships with 31 cities.

AbstractMangrove is a typical natural landscape with great ecological, social and economic functions and values, and should be highly valued and protected. However, in the past few decades, mangrove resources have suffered serious damage, and there are also many deficiencies in mangrove protection. Chinese mangroves, as an important part of the global mangroves, are of great research value. In the present study, the status and historical dynamic process of Chinese mangrove resources were investigated and discussed to illustrate the problems of resources from three aspects, including mangrove distribution, area and plant species. Based on field research, literature research and data analysis, it was revealed that Chinese mangroves are distributed in eight provinces and regions along the southeast coast with an area of 35,749.25 hm2, 38 species and 40 nature reserves. The protection situation and deficiencies were analyzed from the establishment and management of nature reserves. Based on the resource status and problems, reasonable strategies were proposed to protect and manage mangroves mainly from four aspects, including publicity and education, resources restoration and protection technology, legal system establishment, and comprehensive protection and management.
