Migration shapes children and the world. It is accomplished by boosting individuals who may be more acceptant of transformation and variation and who are less observant and much more exposed and recognizing of the others, and those who have the most hurdles to overcome, like learning a foreign language, adapting to changing culture, and establishing more global connections. Based upon the origin and the social assistance provided by a host nation, children from migrant families had diverse experiences in life and possibilities. The academic achievement of migrant children and their psychological condition, social inclusion, and family responsibilities are all boosted by parental participation and action. Furthermore, it is essential for the migrant children parents should motivate their children to accept the current culture and acquire a new language, thereby maintaining their practices and culture at family. While migrant children go over the migration process, they confront various problems. The biggest issue affecting their well-being is changing surroundings, which has also become a barrier to intellectual growth and childhood happy memories. This study aims to explore the survival strategies and livelihood of migrant children. Also, it illustrates and evaluates the forces that drive children’s migration and their experiences and feelings as they try to adjust to their new surroundings. This study examines migrant workers’ household capital status and risk and the impact on their children. The conceptual framework is presented to understand migrant children’s livelihood security. The emergence of smart technologies in homes comes with various services and functions for everyday life. While a smart home (SH) is associated with great potential in terms of comfort and risk treatment, it also introduces new and alters existing risks. Despite a growing number of academic studies on SH risks, research is fragmented with regard to its focus on certain disciplines and is still rather technology-focused. In this paper, we fill this gap by providing a comprehensive understanding of relevant risks through a systematic literature review. Following the guidelines of the PRISMA reporting protocol, we search 1196 academic and practitioners’ publications related to household risks or risk perceptions of SH users. A final set of 59 records results in three main themes. They include (1) a synthesis of pre-existing and emerging risks sketching the new risk landscape of SH households, (2) a discussion of the prevailing risk evaluation methods, and (3) a presentation of SH-related risk treatment options with a particular emphasis on insurance. We specify the influence of SH on risks and risk perception, and highlight the relevance of analyzing the interconnection of risks in complex systems, such as SH. Our review lays the basis for assessing SH risks and for enabling more comprehensive and effective risk management optimization.

In a market economy, the perception of household risks, how they are managed, and the role of the state in this has changed. This makes it relevant to study the risks of households and search for sources of their financing. The purpose of this work is to pose the problem of managing household risks associated with loss or decline in income. They have features determined by the structure of the household and its type. Currently, there is no clear approach to what contains the risk of loss of income and what is a household as an economic unit. Often, the risk of loss of income is associated with the activities of enterprises, is studied outside of reference to households, or is considered as an individual risk of a person. In this regard, the following tasks were defined: to identify the features of risks of private households and their management, to present typical groups of households determined by the difference in attitudes to risks and their management. The hypothesis of the study was the assumption that the risks of loss or decline in income and their consequences affect the household as a whole, and not only on its individual subject, and the source of their occurrence may be the household itself.
