The purpose of this paper is to analyze the conceptual content of pedagogical differentiation in school education, as it emerges from the descriptions and discussion of authors, researchers and experts through content analysis of 22 publications in the Greek and international literature in various scientific texts, books, journal articles and conferences. From the analysis that was performed, twelve dimensions or otherwise characteristics of pedagogical differentiation emerged that presented the highest frequency of occurrence and were included in four broad categories that are: a. “processes”, b. “context”, c. “the learning outcomes” and d. “assessment”. The results of the research show that in secondary education the dimension with the highest frequency is the modification of the supportive learning context, followed by meeting the needs of the students and the continuous improvement of the learning for all students. From the publications studied on pedagogical differentiation, which referred to primary and secondary education together, it appears that the most frequent dimensions are the modification of the supportive learning context and meeting the needs of the students. Dimensions with the lowest frequency of occurrence in secondary education include the possibility of learning option / multiple options, the development of procedural knowledge skills and continuous assessment, while in the publications for primary and secondary education together, the dimensions of development of life skills and continuous assessment were not identified.

The purpose of this study was to describe the ethics and competence of counselors as professionals in providing guidance and counseling services. In today's economic globalization, education plays an important role in public management. It can not only improve the overall quality of human society, but also a way of cultural communication. This paper mainly introduces the concept of public management and the characteristics of educational economy, and expounds the calculation method of educational economic contribution rate. Then, through investigation and research, this paper finds that there are many factors affecting educational equity. The most direct reason is that the government and schools lack reasonable planning for private schools, resulting in imperfect school facilities and high employment pressure on students; on the other hand, the rapid economic development leads to the shortage of talent supply, which leads to the decline of education quality. At the same time, based on the survey results, this paper finds that the penetration rate of primary and secondary education in Uzbekistan has increased significantly, the cultural level of adults and youth has improved, and gender equality in primary and secondary education opportunities.

Abstract This study examines how employee perceptions of the availability and the (in)effectiveness of human resource (HR) practices in schools relate to employee performance via work engagement. Incorporating the views of 208 Dutch primary and secondary education teachers, this study's findings show that both the availability and effectiveness of HR practices are positively associated with teacher work engagement and in turn job performance. However, when employees perceive the available HR practices as effective, this has a stronger effect on teacher work engagement compared to when they only perceive the HR practices as available. Moreover, results show that HR practices that are mentioned as available, but considered ineffective, are negatively related to employee engagement and job performance. Finally, our results provide initial evidence for potential differential effects of ability-, motivation- and opportunity-enhancing HR bundles on work engagement and job performance, depending on whether the availability, ineffectiveness or effectiveness of HR practices is studied.

Given the growing importance of digital literacy in children’s education, this article analyzes the role of school mediation in the development of digital competences among Spanish minors. Based on the results obtained from a survey of 2,900 Spanish schoolchildren between the ages of 9 and 17 years conducted at the end of 2018, we explore their attachment to their school, the digital mediation they receive at the center, and their digital competences. The data show that they have a positive feeling of belonging to their school. The most widespread competences among minors are precisely those most related to the playful use of digital devices. Analysis of the association between school mediation and the acquisition of various types of digital skills shows that mediation is effective in the acquisition of most competences among pre-adolescents, confirming the need for early school mediation. There is no doubt that media and digital education contributes to the achievement of more inclusive environments. Educational policies oriented toward safer use of the Internet and a change in the pedagogical paradigm in primary and secondary education should contribute to enhanced development of digital skills during childhood and adolescence.
