The success of an organization is largely determined by the management model that is applied, sedangkan keberhasilan manajemen ditentukan oleh pemimpinnyaespecially in primary and secondary education which has a central and very strategic role for the continuation of the next higher education. this strategic role will be more effective if educational institutions can implement integrated quality management education services in the 21st century revolutionary 4.0, This management model is considered appropriate, because this management focuses on customer satisfaction, both internal customers and external customers.

Total Quality Management is a system used to continuously improve the quality of services or products offered to customers. There are so many benefits obtained by educational institutions if implementing this Total Quality Management, including being able to provide better services to customers, can meet general accountability standards in education reform and can improve and encourage a pleasant learning environment and encourage students and teachers to learn. The TQM concept is a management system that is used as a business strategy oriented to customer satisfaction by involving customers and all members of the organization. In the implementation and implementation of TQM to reduce existing barriers, it is necessary to have a high commitment from top management, expansion of insights, information, knowledge and skills regarding the implementation of TQM, and also invites all employees to be more open and more active in carrying out their duties. And also there needs to be a relationship between the organization and the surrounding community to find out what is needed and desired by the surrounding community so that it can be fulfilled as desired. And also provide education and training in order to improve the quality of human resources.

Alumni have a strategic role including improving the quality of education and developing various extracurricular activities in schools and alumni who have competence can play an important function in building public opinion to attract new students and public. This article discusses the role of alumni according to the Total Quality Management (TQM) perspective to find out related matters, namely the understanding and role of alumni, how the characteristics of integrated quality schools and how alumni management is according to the TQM perspective. The results of the analysis show the characteristics of quality schools have 5 quality pillars which include a focus on customers, total involvement, measurement, commitment and continuous improvement. The pillars are based on school beliefs. Alumni are able to make many contributions in improving the quality of education, therefore there is a need for alumni management. Alumni management includes the development of alumni networks, alumni construction of educational institutions, institutional governance of alumni management and methods for tracing alumni data through electronic and social media.Keywords: Alumni, educational institutions, schools, total quality management.

describe the implementation of an integrated quality management component consisting of the quality of services provided by the school, human resources in teaching, the school environment, and learning process  in SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang.               The method used in this study, namely by using a naturalistic qualitative approach. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study include the principal, teachers, employees, and students. The validity of the data is done by triangulation, and deeper observation. Analysis of the data used is the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.              The results showed that: (a) the quality of services to students in SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang had met good service standards. This can be seen from the services in the form of facilities and infrastructure which are quite complete in schools; (b) the quality of human resources in the education process shows good teacher resources. This can be seen from the teacher data which shows that the teaching staff at SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang 95% of educators with S1 qualifications in the field of education; (c) the quality of the environment in SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang is already good. This can be seen from the very strategic location of the school because the location of the school is in the middle of the city so that it is easily accessible by the community; (d) the quality of the learning process carried out by teachers at Pangkal Pinang YPAC SLB is good. This can be seen from the realization of the form of activities through learning planning by preparing lesson plans for each subject, then implementing learning, which includes strategies and methods used by teachers in delivering learning material, and evaluation of learning. Keywords: Integrated quality management, student achievement     ABSTRAK Tujuan dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini  adalah untuk melihat pelaksanaan serta mendeskripsikan implementasi  komponen Manajemen Mutu Terpadu yang terdiri dari kualitas layanan yang diberikan sekolah, sumber daya manusia dalam mengajar, lingkungan sekolah, dan proses pembelajaran di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini antara lain kepala sekolah, guru, pegawai, dan peserta didik. keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi, dan pengamatan yang lebih mendalam. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman melalui kegiatan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (a) mutu layanan terhadap peserta didik di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang sudah memenuhi standar layanan yang baik. Hal ini dilihat dari layanan yang berupa fasilitas sarana dan prasarana yang sudah cukup lengkap di sekolah; (b) mutu sumber daya manusia dalam proses pendidikan menunjukkan sumber daya guru yang baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari data guru yang menunjukkan bahwa tenaga pengajar di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang 95% pendidik berkualifikasi S1 bidang kependidikan; (c) mutu lingkungan yang ada di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang sudah baik. Hal ini terlihat dari letak sekolah yang sangat strategis karena lokasi sekolah yang berada di tengah kota sehingga mudah dijangkau oleh masyarakat; (d) mutu proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang sudah baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari realisasi bentuk kegiatan melalui perencanaan pembelajaran dengan menyusun RPP setiap mata pelajaran, kemudian pelaksanaan pembelajaran, yang meliputi strategi dan metode yang digunakan guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran.

Abstract: The quality of madrasah education needs to get serious attention both from process aspect and its result. The quality of madrasah education is also influenced by the family and community environment. This brings with it the need for a review and mapping of the quality management model of education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The Madrasah Ibtidaiyah of Purwokerto and MI Ma'arif Pageraji Purwokerto were chosen to be the subject of this study with the consideration that the school has a good quality management system. This study aims to find the typology of quality management education in MI that is effective so that it can be replicated. Based on the findings of the data, it can be concluded as follows: (1) Quality planning conducted in MIN and MI Ma’arif pageraji Purwokerto through (a) improvement of teacher competence, through OJT activity (on the job trainning), (b) teacher. (c) Development of natural competence matrix. (d) Parent and community cooperation in establishing some madrasah programs. (2) Quality control system conducted in MIN and MI Ma’arif pageraji Purwokerto done through supervision activities. (3) Quality assurance conducted in MIN and MI Ma’arif pageraji Purwokerto done internally by madrasah and audited through accreditation activities run by the accreditation bodies of madrasah or other institutions externally. Abstract: Islamic education institutions in Indonesia face two challenges, namely; internal and external. Internally, Islamic education is faced with the classic problem of the low quality of human resources in education management. The causes include poor quality and education staff development and selectivity of education personnel. Furthermore externally, Islamic education institutions faced three major issues; globalization, democratization, and liberalization. The issue of globalization that is identical with market orientation and mechanism also affects the world of education. That way in education also includes awareness about how to attract and convince the community of the type and model of education. From here, the education world is ready or not ready to be involved in competition to gain public trust. To face these challenges Islamic Education institutions must maximally manage and empower all elements of management in the management of educational institutions. A good understanding of the elements of management can have an impact on the readiness of educational institutions to manage their institutions well in any condition to be the best and foremost. ABSTRACT Objectives: to identify the main quality management interventions used by professionals working at Human Milk Banks. Methods: a scope review conducted at PubMed, VHL, Scopus, SciELO, CAPES thesis and Google Scholar databases. Primary studies were included that address quality improvement strategies to improve Milk Bank processes in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Results: search totaled 192 scientific studies, 17 of which met the objective of the study and inclusion criteria. The main quality management interventions used in the Human Milk Bank addressed tools for continuous improvement. Six were aimed at improving processes, one to prevent errors and failures and two to achieve continuous monitoring. Final Considerations: the tools used by professionals working in Human Milk Banks have demonstrated effectiveness in managing the quality of services.

Abstract:The growth of madrasah in Indonesian homeland is the result of pull of the pesantren as native Indonesian educational institutions (conventional) that are already on one side with a western education (modern) on the other. In the colonial period, in accordance with the mission of colonialism, madrasah are so marginalized and made a variety of colonial government policies that marginalize the madrasah. One impact is still visible from the discriminatory policy is madrasah experienced a variety of management weaknesses. Under these circumstances, management weaknesses indicated by the closed nature and is not oriented to the outside so that the madrasah was a slow progression and even static. To overcome this, one of the rescue efforts that can be taken by the stakeholders of education in the madrasah is to change the paradigm of conventional management on the quality of madrasah into an integrated paradigm. This paper describes the transformation towards integrated quality of madrasah. The author conducted an analysis of integrated quality management theory and then demonstrate its application in the field of Islamic education can do madrasah to get a quality education services. PurposeThe aim of this paper is to present the main findings of the studies in the field of quality management (QM) in primary and secondary education. Grouping these findings into themes and these themes, in turn, into broad categories as well as prioritizing the themes of findings are also aims of the present study.Design/methodology/approachA systematic literature review (SLR) of articles focusing on QM in primary and secondary education was carried out based on major publishers, namely Emerald Online, Taylor and Francis, Elsevier/Science Direct, Springer Link, Sage Publishing and Online. In total, 133 articles published in 62 journals during 1983–2019 were collected. The affinity diagram was applied in order to group the findings of the QM studies into logical themes and these themes into broad categories. Moreover, the Pareto diagram was applied to prioritize the themes revealed.FindingsA plethora of articles focusing on QM in primary and secondary education have been published in the last decades. The findings of the QM studies presented in the 133 reviewed articles are grouped into 43 themes and these themes, in turn, into 6 broad categories, namely management practices, school characteristics, teachers, stakeholders, government and pupils. The analysis also reveals themes that can be characterized as “vital” and “useful.”Practical implicationsResearchers and school managers can take into consideration the findings of the QM studies in primary and secondary education as well as the themes of high priority for the design of future studies and QM implementation plans, respectively.Originality/valueThis is the first literature review study which presents analytically the findings of the QM studies in primary and secondary education. This study also contributes to the literature by formulating meaningful themes of these findings and broad categories of these themes and by prioritizing the themes revealed.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to present the results of an exploratory literature review investigating the similarities and differences in TQM implementation between 3PL organisations and organisations with an in-house logistics function. Design/methodology/approach The authors collected all relevant papers covering both types of organisations implementing TQM worldwide in a time period from 1991 until today. The aim was to identify key papers and analyse its contents based on the quality of services provided by these two types of organisations. Findings The survey contains information about the forces that encourage managers to implement quality practices in the logistics function, the reasons that impeded the implementation of such a quality programme, the quality methods being used and also the level of their satisfaction with the current quality management in logistics. Research limitations/implications This paper only mentioned the principal papers that have been published globally from 1991 – today. Originality/value The present study is one of the few that reviewed literature from the year 1991 – today in order to provide a comparison of quality management practices between 3PLs and in-house Logistics organisations.
