The contemporary pandemic scenario of COVID-19 has brought to surface the efficacy of old health care wisdom in inhibition and care of diseases where contemporary medicine deceptively wants a real cure. Undeniably, viral diseases for the fascinating vitality of their causal organisms, top this wish list. Ultimately the world seems to be enthusiastic to pay attention about old health care approaches to control viral pandemics if these are found well-intentioned in handling such situations. One such demand is to energetically or intelligently use the therapeutic devices especially the Shirodhara device, at the convenience, anytime, anywhere in a teleconsultation mode. The Shirodhara device design is to be in a manageable form without trailing the legitimacy and principals of Ayurveda. The main elements used in the device comprises of a sensor for perceiving the temperature, a pump for salvaging the medicine, programming device to control the temperature, and regulate the heater and a wavering pipe for free flow of the medicine. The device is premeditated in such a way to evade the faults and snags produced while doing the procedure Shirodhara. Hence, this device is built which is portable, cost effective; it provides a technologically enhanced Shirodhara instrument curtailing the practice of medicine and man power for the procedure.

Generally we use simple led regular static type display screen to deliver the message. Previously, to update the data either it may be large one it takes a long process to update data. Now a days scrolling type displays are more preferred over the static type displays. By adopting a programming device called NODEMCU, data can be displayed on dot matrix in scrolling manner. By adopting led 8x8 dot matrix using can controlled via IoT based system which controlled by mobile or laptop. Scrolling type text display boards, projects uses led dot matrix displays or regular outside purpose digital sign boards. The message scrolling displays are also type of scrolling LED display examples, presented here are nodemcu based led matrix display project. The led matrix is controlled using nodemcu by serial communication protocols. In this pair of 8*8 led Matrix display modules have used to display the transmitted message on Matrix display. nodemcu is heart of this project. The nodemcu is the transmitter to send data, and the receiver is led matrix display to display message on it.

Electrical installations represent an important part of the industry. In this sense, knowing the state of the electrical installation in real time through the readings of the installed power analyzers is of vital importance. For this purpose, the RS485 bus can be used, which most electrical installations already have. An alternative to the bus wiring and its distance limitation is the use of low-power wide area networks (LPWAN). The long range (LoRa) protocol is ideal for industries due to its low-power consumption and coverage of up to 10 km. In this research, a device is developed to control all the reading and programming functions of a power analyzer and to integrate the device into the LoRa LPWAN network. The power analyzer monitor and programming device (PAMPD) is inexpensive and small enough to be installed in electrical panels, together with the power analyzer, without additional wiring. The information collected is available in the cloud in real time, allowing a multitude of analysis be run and optimization in real time. The results support high efficiency in information transmission with average information loss rate of 3% and a low average transmission time of 30 ms.

In this paper a Discrete Event Systems approach is used to design embedded systems, implemented using a commercial low-cost platform based on a single-board micro-controller. The approach uses Time Petri Nets (TPN) to build the system model and a model-checking tool to perform the formal verication and to support the embedded system code generation. The method was applied to design an automated sorting machine using the Arduino platform as programming device.

Boom–type roadheaders are basic machines used in underground mines for drilling roadways, in tunnelling and also for making underground buildings using trenchless methods. The article presents selected results of tests carried out in a semi–industrial scale, on a roadheader R–130, concerning behaviour of an innovative solution of system for automatic control of boom–type roadheader cutting heads’ movements. This important innovation, not known before in mining cutting machines, is the software control of cutting heads angular speed using a frequency converter. The text shows an impact of key values, from a perspective of an assumed control purpose, of programming device (setting system) parameters, achieving reference values for the actuators, on controlled facility behaviour when cutting a layered cement and sand block. The performance of the automatic control system without and with feedback to the setting system concerning an actual speed of cutting heads movement, which is important from the control system hardware perspective, was compared.

A novel digitally-programmable delay-time microchip is introduced in this paper, which is based on detonating system. In order to make the detonating system more safety and reliability, C-MBUS is proposed in this paper. The programmable delay-time detonator can get power and data from Logger simultaneously. As a conclusion, the programmable delay time of this microchip ranges from 1 millisecond to 10000 milliseconds using the dedicated programming device, and the time programmable increment step can reach 1 millisecond. With its safety and reliability, its accuracy in delay time and its easy use, it will be extensively applicable to complicated blasting engineering of high quality.

In this paper, an accurate I-V virtual instrument (VI) that has been developed to characterize electronic devices for research and teaching purposes is demonstrated. The virtual instrument can be used to highlight principles of measurement, instrumentation, fundamental principles of electronics, VI programming, device testing and characterization in wafer or discrete device level. It consists of a Keithley electrometer, model 6514, a programmable power supply BK Precision, model 1770, a Keithley source meter, model 2400-LV, an Agilent digital multimeter, model 34401, a PC computer and LabVIEW software. The instruments are interconnected using an IEEE 488 protocol. The characteristic VI devices graphs are generated from measured data previous computational processing. The instrument is used in basic courses of physical electronics as well as in advance curses of VLSI design and in research work for characterization of semiconductor materials and devices. This paper describes the VI instrument design, implementation and characterization experiments.
