AbstractThis paper argues that the possibility of revealing counterfactuals of creaturely freedom to agents in possible worlds forming part of God’s natural knowledge poses a new problem for Molinism. This problem best comes to light when considering the phenomenon of stubbornness, i.e., the conscious refusal of fulfilling the providential plan revealed to and intended for us by another agent. The reason why this problem has gone unnoticed is that the usual instances of prophecy dealt with by Molinists (especially the story of Peter’s denial) are highly specific cases. These cases are special for three reasons: (1) because the content of the revelations does not include the relevant counterfactuals of creaturely freedom, (2) because the specific revelation plays no causal role in the immediate circumstances of the action that the agent is performing, and (3) because the agent is not intent on consciously refusing the providential plan intended by the relevant counterfactual. I explore possible worlds where one or more of these three conditions do not obtain and demonstrate the consequences these possible worlds have for Molinists.

Ethnosciences in natural knowledge needs to be developed as a learning material and insight. In the field of education, ethnoscience is not optimal if it is applied in theory or books. Along with the times, the theory of ethnoscience will be displaced by modern technology, therefore the means of knowledge need to be upgraded to more advanced media to gain new experiences, especially for future generations. Researchers are looking for an ethnoscience approach in the field of technology by taking samples of observations of plant species in the Botanical Gardens. The technology used to develop this media is Markerless Augmented Reality based on Android applications. Researchers use 3D plant model objects from plant species in functions for the environment, including: Waste particle absorbing plants; CO2-absorbing and O2-producing plants; Odor-absorbing/removing plants; Plants to deal with flooding; Absorbent/odor depressant plants; Plants to overcome inundation, Groundwater conservation plants; Beach safety and abrasion plants. The results of the implementation and testing of the application are built and run with the android.apk device. This application is called EARBot (Ethnoscience Based Augmented Reality on Botanical Garden) which is an educational application of knowledge about ethnoscience that uses Markerless Augmented Reality technology.

The purpose of this research is to find out the concept of sustainability in ecotourism in generation Z domestic tourists. The location of this research was conducted in Baluran National Park. This study uses a qualitative approach in which the data collected in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysed were the results of interviews with one expert from ecotourism, one manager from Baluran National Park, four Generation Z visitors and observations in the Baluran National Park environment. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, and coding in accordance with the themes discussed. Data collection methods use data triangulation techniques that are useful for establishing degrees of trust. The results of this study are the concept of understanding the importance of sustainability in ecotourism in generation Z domestic tourists is still lacking. There is awareness from generation Z about the importance of sustainable tourism, but there is still a lack of interest in participating in nature-based organizations because it does not attract packaging from the institution itself. In addition, there is still a lack of literacy reading among generation Z regarding natural knowledge, so Baluran National Park can create an interesting program for generation Z regarding basic understanding of nature in the form of online media

In this article, I respond to each of the three authors who have engaged my book God in Himself. Regarding Gray Sutanto’s response, I offer comments on his effort to integrate Schleiermacher and Calvin on the human “feeling of dependence” and the sensus divinitatis and to draw upon the insights of Bonaventure to frame our natural knowledge of God. Regarding Scott Swain’s response, I seek to build on his thoughts about the necessary use of metaphysical concepts by considering some additional biblical material and by clarifying the way in which metaphysical concepts might be treated as developments of ordinary, common human knowledge of reality. Finally, regarding Dolf te Velde’s response, I seek to clarify further why I think Scotus and Aquinas may not be too far apart on the nature of theological predication and why I think Aquinas’ view of analogy and divine simplicity is still sufficient for confirming the veracity of Christian speech about God.

Abstract Recent studies on the functions performed by natural and mathematical sciences in Renaissance courts have shown how closely and extensively the domains of medicine, astrology and politics interacted with each other. The dedicatory letters to Cardinal and Prince-Bishop Bernardo Cles printed in works of medicine, astronomy and natural philosophy by scholars like Marco Antonio Rozoni (1524), Sebastian Münster (1527), Luca Gaurico (1531) Pietro Antonio Mattioli (1533) and Ludovico Nogarola (1536) reveal how much attention Ferdinand I’s Supreme Chancellor, a prelate and politician of unquestioned authority and power, devoted to such influential domains of natural science. In particular, they suggest that Bernardo was not unfavorable to a view of natural knowledge inspired by the anti-astrological skepticism of Giovanni Pico della Mirandola. What is more, his intellectual proximity to learned physicians working in the wake of Nicolò Leoniceno’s medical humanism lends credit to the image of a patron, and a ruler, who was oriented to rely preferably on natural knowledge grounded in repeatable sensorial experience.
