Rapidly increasing of requirements of business pushed researchers to define new approaches and methodologies to meet marketing needs. Agile methodology has been created and replaced the traditional-driven development methods that focus on soliciting, documenting a complete set of requirements, and take a long time comparing to market change. On the other hand, customers need to be closer to the development process and collaborate with team development. Despite agile advantages, introducing new tools, coordination, and collaboration concepts, some challenges still need to be discussed and improved. These challenges relate to achieve balanced IT service development process in the organization. As a result, new trends have been created to facilitate new changes in software development. This chapter will study agile methodologies and different challenges with suggested solutions generated from agile philosophy itself.

Today, virtual teams composed by dispersed team members relying on computer-supported collaborative work are common in the information technology (IT) service provisioning industry. Despite the increasing interest in virtual team research, there is a limited understanding of a multidimensional view of team dispersion and its effect on the performance of virtual teams via the team´s socioemotional states. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influence of team distribution and variety of work practices on the performance of virtual IT service provisioning teams via the emergent states of trust and cohesiveness. To this aim, an input-process-output framework was adopted to develop a conceptual model and a survey with IT service provisioning professionals was conducted. The results suggest that a variety of work practices constitutes a barrier to the performance of virtual IT service provisioning teams; and that trust and cohesiveness are important mediators in this cause-effect relationship.

This paper investigates the current state and prospects of the development of the European IT services market. A detailed analysis of the economic indicators of the IT market in European countries has been conducted. Marketing characteristics of the external market of IT services were considered, in whose formation a leading role belongs to export deliveries. It has been determined that the capacity of the international segment of the IT services market in most European countries increases by an average of 20 % annually, and the share of IT technologies exports in the overall export structure exceeds 8 %. The forecast of changes in the internal market of IT technologies in the post-Soviet countries was analyzed. Based on the results, it was concluded that in the future the capacity of the domestic IT services market could increase and, in 2024, in particular in Ukraine, would exceed the volume of USD 2 billion. The results of studying the level of prices for IT services in the post-Soviet countries suggest that they mainly correspond to the prices for similar services in different groups of European countries (with different material capabilities). That means that for IT service consumers in countries with a low standard of living, price characteristics are not an obstacle to obtaining the highest quality services from domestic or foreign suppliers. The role and importance of personnel support of the information industry, which is key in the formation and development of the IT services market, have been determined. It has been proven that specialists who attained IT education mostly work according to the skills and competencies obtained, which distinguishes them favorably from specialists in other fields. Despite the tendencies of a certain outflow of specialists outside the countries with a low living level, the number of IT specialists is growing progressively in their economies. In many ways, these trends are facilitated by an increase in the number of graduates from specialized educational institutions.

The purpose of this work is to increase the efficiency of the grain humidifier, which is part of the system for preparing grain for grinding, ensuring the reliability of machines, its productivity, reducing energy consumption and improving the quality of the finished product. products by introducing automation based on SMART technology, defined as self-monitoring and reporting technology.SMART technology is inextricably linked with a monitoring and data collection system designed to monitor and automatically manage a large number of remote, geographically dispersed sites. In addition, this system provides long-term archiving of the received data, which allows the dispatcher to monitor the operation of the relevant equipment, responding with an IT service program.A remote automated monitoring and control system for the production line on which the dampening machine is installed ensures optimum performance. Rotary machines for grain moistening are considered. At flour mills, as well as at other enterprises, such machines are used at the stage of main moistening and for additional moistening before feeding the grain to the grinding workshop. A1-BShU-2 machines are designed for basic grain moistening.Humidifiers are installed in front of the grain bins in the production lines of the preparatory departments of flour mills to remove excess moisture. At the same time, machines for washing grain and, accordingly, all equipment for treating wastewater and treated waste can be excluded from the technological schemes of enterprises, therefore, an urgent task is to increase productivity. Air humidifier A1-BShU-2 by improving the design of the working body and automation of the machine. generally. In this regard, it is necessary to intensify the process of moistening the grain due to the optimal location of the blades for moving the grain (races) and mixing (whips) on the shaft of the working body, apply a drive motor speed control system using a frequency converter. The article shows ways to improve the performance of a humidifier, as well as issues of control and management of the optimal mode of its operation. For example, Table 1 is presented in the form of a layout, which shows in what form the information can be provided to the operator and stored in the archive.

Based on the Horizons Scan Report 2021 by BSI, the top 6 threats to organizations today are pandemics, health incidents, safety incidents, IT and telecommunications outages, cyberattacks, and extreme weather. Universitas Indonesia (UI), as a modern, comprehensive, and open campus, strives to become a leading research university globally. As the IT service manager at UI, the Directorate of Information Systems and Technology (DSTI) has the task of strengthening service management by implementing risk management and security management in line with relevant laws and policies. The main problem for DSTI as an IT service at UI is that there are no documents related to risk management and information security management, resulting in IT services’ failure. This year, there have been four data center failures due to power and UPS problems. DSTI wants to improve IT services at UI by implementing risk management and Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). This study aims to conduct a risk analysis to design a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for IT services at the University of Indonesia. The research was conducted using mix method. The OCTAVE qualitative method was carried out in finding a list of risks on critical assets in IT services at UI. A quantitative approach is needed to rank the risk list using a questionnaire and FMEA calculations to get a risk priority number. This study separates the risk of general assets and information system assets. For critical assets, it is generally found that two are at a very high level, one is high, eight risks are at a low level, and 12 are at a very high level, for information system assets found 12 assets with very high risk, three medium and one low.

Some companies have achieved better performance as a result of their IT investments, while others have not, as organizations are interested in calculating the value added by their IT. There is a wide range of literature that agrees that the best practices used by organizations promote continuous improvement in service delivery. Nevertheless, overuse of these practices can have undesirable effects and unquantified investments. This paper proposed a practical tool formally developed according to the DSR design science approach, it addresses a domain relevant to both practitioners and academics by providing IT service governance (ITSG) domain model ontology, concerned with maximizing the clarity and veracity of the concepts within it. The results revealed that the proposed ontology resolved key barriers to ITSG process adoption in organizations, and that combining COBIT and ITIL practices would help organizations better manage their IT services and achieve better business-IT alignment.
