Studies in different languages have identified a broadcast speaking style, a particular manner that broadcasters have of reading news. This speaking style is characterized by an emphatic intonation with a fast speech rate easily recognizable by listeners. Some authors have stated that messages in this style are not positively perceived by listeners, as it is repetitive and regular, but there is no empirical data to support this conclusion, nor has the style been analyzed with physiological measures. The physiological approach has some advantages, such as a more objective assessment and real-time evaluation. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness, adequacy, and physiological response of this broadcast style compared to a narrative pattern. We combined self-report with physiological measures. Fifty-six participants listened to six news pieces in both styles and with two voices, male and female. They had to rate the effectiveness and adequacy of the news while we measured their physiological responses (heart rate and electrodermal activity). The results showed that news conveyed through the broadcast style elicited less cognitive resource allocation and emotional arousal than the narrative pattern, but there were no significant differences in self-report evaluations.

During the course of the voyage, divers experience the effect of the wide range of adverse factors of operator labor and ship's habitability. The objective of the study is to estimate the state of cardiovascular system of operators of deep water technical means after using the complex of measures aimed at correction of function al state of operators during the course of the voyage.Materials and methods. The study was conducted with the participation of 38 operators of deep water technical means from among the crew of nuclear submarine engaged in operator labor activity. The study was performed twice: before the voyage and after return to base and included: cardiorhythmogram and psychophysiological study methodologies of functional state. Patients were divided into two groups: main (n = 13) and control (n = 25).Results and discussion. The control group shows sympathicotonia (reducing heart rate variability, intensity of respiratory arrhythmia). The main group, on the contrary, shows relative balance of regulatory systems. Thus, the conducted assessment of the state of cardiovascular system showed positive effects of using the complex of measures aimed at correction of functional state of operators during the course of the voyage.

the article discloses the main results of the study, describing the dependence of the presence of risk factors on the personal characteristics of candidates for service in the internal affairs bodies in the process of conducting a special psychophysiological study using a polygraph. The main conclusions in this study were obtained using comparative, qualitative, correlation and frequency analyses, which is confirmed by the existence of numerous relationships of personal characteristics, according to which the presence or absence of risk factors can be predicted. This empirical study has made it possible to draw up a table of the distribution of specific gravity and a formula according to which an employee working with printing devices can calculate the probability of identifying a risk factor in each candidate for service in the internal affairs bodies on the basis of a psychological examination. The obtained data on the results of the methods used, describing various aspects of the external manifestations of a person, were presented by groups, in matrix form and analyzed by a number of indicators such as: the risk factor was not identified, the risk factor was identified, and in groups where the result was not determined, but there is a suspicion of the presence of a risk factor. Data were compared with intergroup measures of personality traits. Analysis of personality characteristics showed that in a sample of candidates for service, the most important of the suitability markers correlate with personal features. An employee working with printing devices at the stage of familiarization with the candidate's questionnaire, analyzing his personal and business qualities, can predict, with a high degree of probability, the identification of risk factors, even before the start of the study using a polygraph, or the manifestation of various kinds of opposition, in order to hide the identification of risk factors. The use of this formula by psychologists and polygraphologists in professional psychological selection greatly contributes to ensuring the safety of internal affairs bodies at the stage of personnel screening, which is aimed at detecting and preventing emergency incidents among the personnel of internal affairs bodies and occupies a decisive role in forming a positive image of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The article gives an attempt at an interdisciplinary consideration of the process of interaction between a polygraph examiner and a person being examined within the framework of a special psychophysiological study using polygraph devices. This interaction is considered both from the point of view of the personal dispositions of the participants, and in the context of mathematical modeling of this interaction, using the developments of game theory.

Based on the generalization of domestic and foreign studies, the article analyzes the possibilities and prospects of using the psychophysiological study of polygraph personnel to solve the problem of personnel security in an organization. The main schools of using the polygraph and modern spheres of its application are highlighted, including in commercial organizations. It is shown that the use of a polygraph is a tool for obtaining the necessary additional information when hiring an employee, as well as a tool for preventing his deviant behavior (in particular, the polygraph allows identifying employees who use the company's property for personal purposes, who ignore their job responsibilities, violate business processes that communicate rudely with the company's customers, various thefts, thefts, taking bribes from suppliers, embezzlement of money, forgery of financial and reporting documents and other hidden violations). The technique of using a polygraph in the recruitment process is presented. The article discusses the limitations of using the results of printing research, which must be taken into account in practice, including the following: the results are probabilistic in nature, are indirect evidence of involvement in the identified violations, can be used as a vector for further research, and also as an additional source of data in cases of asymmetry information (for example, when hiring), the verification procedure can be used as a measure to prevent future corporate offenses or other damage to the company due to the low competence of the hired employee.

The article deals with questions of ensuring the legality and moral aspects of the pre-test conversation, the tactical basis of these actions. A polygraph examiner, taking into account the subjects and the correlation of ethics and psychological impact at all stages. The main task of the interviewing polygraph examiner is to obtain testimony from the subject, which contains reliable, comprehensive evidence-based information (factual data) regarding circumstances known to the latter that are relevant to the study. The relevance of solving these problems is also caused by the fact that the polygraph examiner should inspire confidence, as well as be an example of respect for the law and moral standards, and the correct application of the rule of law and the establishment of mutual contact during the preparatory phase affects the veracity of the answers to further research. The article studies the features of the pre-test conversation as a separate stage of psychophysiological research using a polygraph. The object of the study is the features of the pre-test conversation as a separate stage of psychophysiological research using a polygraph. The subject of the study is a pre-test conversation of a psychophysiological study using a polygraph. In the process of the study, a general characteristic of the psychological capabilities of revealing hidden information was revealed, the meaning, objectives, goals and techniques used in the pre-test conversation as a preliminary stage of a psychophysiological study using a polygraph are examined.
