As a complement to Chapter 7, which deals with Quintilian’s theory of rhetorical style, this chapter examines his own mastery in a wide range of different style levels and effects. It makes clear that while in Books 8 and 9 and chapter 12.10 of his Institutio he teaches eloquence by telling, he is teaching it by showing throughout his work. In order to provide his readers with samples of as many different stylistic shades and functions as possible, he performs a great variety of styles from sober and plain didactic prose (docere) to pleasant imagery (delectare), from humour to deep sadness (movere), designing even his prefaces as stylistic models. Moreover, he uses his abundant eloquence for persuasive as well as for didactic purposes to spur his pupils and readers to devote themselves to the lofty goal of oratorical and moral perfection. Thus, Quintilian presents himself in his textbook not only as a brilliant teacher, but also as a powerful orator.

Manimekalai is an epic created by Satan in order to uplift the degenerate social trend.  In this he has also emphasized Buddhist thought by emphasizing hospitality as a high virtue.  Hunger is natural for living things, especially monitors.  That needs to be addressed.  He points out that the hungry need hospitality.  Satan claims that medicine is food for the hungry and that disease must be avoided.  The high opinion is that all people, irrespective of country, language or ethnicity, should be protected from the scourge of famine.  The survey was conducted with the aim of building a famine-free society with the lofty goal of eradicating the deadly disease of hunger that plagued human society.  Satan's Manimekalai has been used primarily for this study, and related essays, journals, and electronic commentaries have also been used as research data.  The study also suggests that more such studies should be conducted by researchers in view of famine-free social formation.

With a lofty goal and mission, it is the mission of "cultivating people". Higher education has an important role to play in the development of society. Education not only trains people with good knowledge and expertise, but also trains people with good moral and physical qualities, effectively serving the socio-economic development associations of each country, each ethnic group. The industrial revolution 4.0 with its rapid development speed and profound impacts on all areas of the social life of each country, if left behind of this revolution, the backward development is also inevitable. On the contrary, if you make good use of the advantages of this revolution, the opportunities are huge. In the digital era, higher education will change profoundly from the educational environment, the role of teachers and learners to teaching methods. Currently, not only Vietnam but also many countries around the world are facing the big challenge of a shortage of highly qualified, specialized and skilled workers. Therefore, in order to renovate higher education to meet the requirements of the labor market, it is necessary to raise awareness and renew thinking on higher education development; renovating training programs and methods.

PurposeWikipedia has the lofty goal of compiling all human knowledge. The purpose of the present study is to map the structure of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) knowledge domain on Wikipedia, to identify patterns of knowledge representation on Wikipedia and to test the applicability of author bibliographic coupling analysis, an effective method for mapping knowledge domains represented in published scholarly documents, for Wikipedia data.Design/methodology/approachWe adapted and followed the well-established procedures and techniques for author bibliographic coupling analysis (ABCA). Instead of bibliographic data from a citation database, we used all articles on TCM downloaded from the English version of Wikipedia as our dataset. An author bibliographic coupling network was calculated and then factor analyzed using SPSS. Factor analysis results were visualized. Factors were labeled upon manual examination of articles that authors who load primarily in each factor have significantly contributed references to. Clear factors were interpreted as topics.FindingsSeven TCM topic areas are represented on Wikipedia, among which Acupuncture-related practices, Falun Gong and Herbal Medicine attracted the most significant contributors to TCM. Acupuncture and Qi Gong have the most connections to the TCM knowledge domain and also serve as bridges for other topics to connect to the domain. Herbal medicine is weakly linked to and non-herbal medicine is isolated from the rest of the TCM knowledge domain. It appears that specific topics are represented well on Wikipedia but their conceptual connections are not. ABCA is effective for mapping knowledge domains on Wikipedia but document-based bibliographic coupling analysis is not.Originality/valueGiven the prominent position of Wikipedia for both information users and for researchers on knowledge organization and information retrieval, it is important to study how well knowledge is represented and structured on Wikipedia. Such studies appear largely missing although studies from different perspectives both about Wikipedia and using Wikipedia as data are abundant. Author bibliographic coupling analysis is effective for mapping knowledge domains represented in published scholarly documents but has never been applied to mapping knowledge domains represented on Wikipedia.

The middle class plays an important role in maintaining and strengthening stability in civil society. Only when a truly middle-class class is formed in the country will civil society enter the path of sustainable development. It is known that from time immemorial, mankind has lived in different strata, groups and tribes. The social structure of any society consisted of three strata, the upper class, the middle class, and the lower class, or the poor. The sustainable development of society depended on the relationship between these strata. At that time, a relatively large number of middle-class landowners played a key role in ensuring social balance. In a country where the middle class makes up the majority of the population, the country is relatively peaceful, socially stable and prosperous. The study of the experience of the advanced countries with the status of a democratic state, the independent Republic of Uzbekistan, which is making great strides towards achieving this lofty goal, testifies to the fact that , they are the driving force of the country's development and a reliable basis for its stability. The article consists of an introduction, goals and objectives, methods, results and comments, and a conclusion.

This article offers a review of shifts in feminist legal theory since the early 1990s. We first use our respective histories and fields of expertise to provide a brief overview and highlight some key themes within feminist legal theory. We then examine Social & Legal Studies ( SLS), asking whether it has met its key goal of integrating feminist analyses at every level. Our review suggests that SLS has offered many important contributions to feminist legal scholarship but has not fulfilled its lofty goal of integrating feminist analyses at every level of scholarship. It features feminist work quite consistently and some degree of mainstreaming is evident, as is the international reach of SLS. Too many articles fail, however, to incorporate or even mention feminist approaches. We end with thoughts about, and hopes for, the future of legal feminism, examining efforts to revitalize the field and suggesting possible directions for the future.

The international accrediting organization for public service pedagogy, the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration, has established and adopted “universal competencies” that Master of Public Administration degree programs are expected to develop to establish a “global standard in public service education” ( http://www.naspaa.org/ ). This lofty goal suggests that there is one best way to prepare public administration students to: (a) lead and manage in public governance; (b) participate in and contribute to the policy process; (c) analyze, synthesize, think critically, solve problems, and make decisions; (d) articulate and apply a public service perspective; and (e) communicate and interact productively with a diverse and changing workforce and citizenry. While the universality of these competencies is not disputed, there are definitely competing ways to approach these various tasks. There are many different theories of leadership and management. Differing roles for public administrators in the policy process are each considered legitimate. Based on these differences, what can be articulated and successfully applied as a public service perspective will also differ situationally, particularly when considering the dynamic and diverse global context. This article explores this challenge and the implications it represents for instructors seeking to socialize students into the profession of public service and build their capacity “to articulate and apply a public service perspective” in consideration of “a diverse and changing workforce and citizenry.” Successful pedagogical approaches to this conundrum are explored and the article concludes with discussion of the potential usefulness of this approach in the global context, given the diversity of public service contexts in which graduates may find themselves.
