The work deals with the problems of innovation transfer and intellectual property management at enterprises. An approach reasoning the choice of innovations and the type of their transfer at an enterprise has been developed, which increases the efficiency of innovation processes. For this purpose, the essence of the category “innovation transfer” regarding the micro-level was clarified and determined according to the sources of innovations. A set-theoretic model of innovation selection based on evaluating the essence of innovations, their generators (suppliers) and implementation conditions has been developed. For such an assessment, a set of criteria has been proposed, a number of the most essential conditions for introducing innovations at an enterprise have been identified, and an optimization model for the efficiency of the innovation development process has been developed. They allow making an informed choice of innovations in accordance with the needs of the enterprise. Evaluation criteria for the innovative potential are proposed and their essence is determined. Testing of the evaluation confirmed the possibility of using the proposed criteria. A model of innovation transfer, which presents the main processes and participants in the transfer of external and internal innovations has been developed, which allows enterprises to ensure a high level of organization and implementation of the transfer. Given the direct relationship between the transfer of innovations and intellectual property, an approach to improving intellectual property management at the enterprise is proposed. A number of principles of intellectual property management have been determined. The stages of intellectual property management at the enterprise are proposed as a set of specific actions determining all processes directly or indirectly related to such management, as well as those responsible for these processes and resource provision.

In the context of global competition, sustainable development of Russian economy is impossible without introduction of innovation technologies. Although the government has taken measures to support the sphere of innovations in recent years, the processes of transferring and commercializing the technologies have not been efficient enough. The purpose of this study is to find out the reasons why special technology development economic zones created as means of innovation transfer have not become an effective tool of attracting investments and technologies in presentday Russia. The following tasks have been accomplished in the study: to determine the participants of the technology transfer process; to prove the necessity of its government support, to analyze the basic forms of technology transfer in Russia. Using various research methods, namely, information resources study, data analysis and comparison, the authors have been able to analyze the practices of creating technology development zones in Russia and estimate their efficiency. The results of the study help to determine the key problems and perspectives of improving technology development zones and prove the necessity of government support of technology transfer. The results of the study may be used for transforming the existing special economic and technology development zones in Russia into an efficient tool of attracting private investments in the economy of innovations, which could enable the country to wean itself off the technology dependence and prevent the outflow of highly qualified specialists.

Innovation is critical to technological progress and has many theories to explain its processes. Organised competition has been shown empirically to provide an alternative pathway for innovation within an industry, increasing innovation rates and radicalness. This research introduces and develops the new staged competition innovation theory which builds on the well-understood diffusion of innovation theory and the Technology–Organisation–Environment framework to explain how decision-making and technological, organisational, and environmental characteristics of industry-based competition can drive innovation activity. The new theory comprises three principles that demonstrate how a well-designed staged competition provides: (1) a unique innovation mechanism away from parent industry constraints, (2) a unique agile environment that can increase innovation development, and (3) a return pathway for adoption back to the parent industry. Principle 2 addresses the specific competition environment criteria required to drive innovation, beginning with a co-dependency between organiser and teams in providing team confidence and a mutually beneficial outcome for both parties. Relative advantage drives teams to innovate by generating competitive pressure, while a variable solution space due to competition specific rules and competition brief clarity direct innovation efforts. Finally, competition repetition provides ongoing innovation transfer between teams within the competition and to the parent industry.

The aim of the Doctoral Thesis is to develop an integrative methodology for the assessment towards sustainable bioeconomy through bioresource transition assessments using top-down and bottom-up approaches, transdisciplinarity analysis, and underused biomass potential use. The main contribution of the Thesis ascends from an integrated multi-level approach, that takes into account technical, socio-economic, environmental and market aspects. In order to reach the aims of the Thesis, the fallowing tasks were set: 1) to assess bioeconomy understanding and create consolidated view on bioeconomy; 2) to assess disciplinarity approaches towards sustainable bioeconomy; 3) to identify bioeconomy affecting factors, their interlinkages and propose possible nexus assessments; 4) to identify factor characteristic indicators; 5) to create factor nexus benchmark; 6) to create methodology for bioeconomy efficiency measures; 7) to identify potential bioresources that are underused and asses their potential value towards effective resource transition proposing new or existing bioresource value chains and their priorities; 8) to provide innovation transfer with market and economic analysis framework to determine if innovative bio-based product or technology would have the potential of entering market successfully; 9) to validate bio-resource potential with experimental analysis. The research presents several novel approaches not previously used in bioeconomy. In this thesis three main levels of bioresource transition assessment have been presented with methodology and case studies to approbate those methodologies. The outcome obtained in this Thesis extends the existing knowledge in bioeconomy for multi-level approach with transdisciplinary analysis. The results are beneficial for national and local and sectoral level governmental authorities, stakeholders and scientists.

Kata kunci: teknologi pengemasan, inovasi produk, IKM ABSTRACT Cikuda is a village near to Unpad campus in Jatinangor is about 2.7 KM. The lack of prosperity of the community independently coupled with the number of unemployed numbers raises new opportunities to shift to the establishment of the household industry. Its existence is able to provide space for many people not to depend on the rigors of the work world competition. Problems in the household industry is the product quality was still low, and the appearance of the product that is less attractive so as not to affect the welfare of business actors. Improvement of product quality can be through application of packaging technology and product innovation. Transfer knowledge to the community that is a partner in this program is the perpetrator of IKM at Cikuda can apply packaging technology and product innovation, and support the government program in improving the economy of the community. Keywords: packaging technology, product innovation, Small Medium Enterprise
