Abstract Background Gravity plays an important role in most life forms on Earth. Yet, a complete molecular understanding of sensing and responding to gravity is lacking. While there are anatomical differences among animals, there is a remarkable conservation across phylogeny at the molecular level. Caenorhabditis elegans is suitable for gene discovery approaches that may help identify molecular mechanisms of gravity sensing. It is unknown whether C. elegans can sense the direction of gravity. Results In aqueous solutions, motile C. elegans nematodes align their swimming direction with the gravity vector direction while immobile worms do not. The worms orient downward regardless of whether they are suspended in a solution less dense (downward sedimentation) or denser (upward sedimentation) than themselves. Gravitaxis is minimally affected by the animals’ gait but requires sensory cilia and dopamine neurotransmission, as well as motility; it does not require genes that function in the body touch response. Conclusions Gravitaxis is not mediated by passive forces such as non-uniform mass distribution or hydrodynamic effects. Rather, it is mediated by active neural processes that involve sensory cilia and dopamine. C. elegans provides a genetically tractable system to study molecular and neural mechanisms of gravity sensing.

This study aims to investigate the vector direction of the relationship between agriculture performance, employment in agriculture, and education in Indonesia. This research uses the vector analysis method. where the dependent variable and the independent variable take turns to see the direction of the relationship of each variable to each other. All data used in this study are sourced from the world bank data. We found that labor absorption in the agricultural sector in Indonesia continues to decline very sharply, it becomes a threat to agriculture performance in the future. Because there is a decline in performance in the future due to labor shortages and it is possible that the agricultural sector will be completely destroyed when there is a shortage of labor in this sector if the interest of the Indonesian youth in the agricultural sector is not invested.

Due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the losses of the tourism industry in Ukraine in 2020 are estimated at more than 1.5 billion dollars. USA. The current situation requires an adequate response from the government and business, which leads to an increased need for the use of scientific tools to justify the options for optimal economic development and relevant management decisions. Under such conditions, the key to sustainable development of the tourism industry should be the maximum use of management tools: management accounting, analysis and audit, implemented in the concept of their effective interaction. The aim of the article is to improve the theoretical and praxeological principles of management accounting, analysis and audit in the tourism management system, by developing the concept of their synergy and substantiation of prospects for implementation as a key imperative for sustainable development of the tourism industry. The economic and social significance of tourism in modern conditions is determined by the fact that the tourism business contributes to economic development, developing related industries, promotes employment, growth of gross domestic product, is a significant source of foreign exchange earnings. Experts from the World Tourism Organization emphasize the historical sustainability of tourism and its ability to create jobs after crises, and emphasize the importance of international cooperation and ensuring that the sector becomes a central part of the recovery effort after the coronavirus pandemic. To increase the efficiency of the tourism industry, as an imperative for sustainable development of the national economy, it is advisable to use such management system tools as management accounting, analysis and audit, implemented in the concept of effective interaction. The article identifies the place of a separate concept in the formation of the paradigm of management accounting, analysis and audit. One of the concepts that contributes to the modern audit paradigm is the concept of synergy between internal and external audit proposed in this study. A qualitative feature of the proposed concept is the two-vector direction of its action, as it is aimed at meeting the needs of internal and external users of information, which fundamentally distinguishes it from other concepts of audit. The proposed scheme of management of the tourist enterprise on the basis of interaction of administrative accounting, business analysis and audit will promote their practical realization in activity of the subject of tourist business. One of the concepts that contributes to the modern audit paradigm was the concept of synergy of internal and external audit proposed in this study. A qualitative featureof the proposed concept is the two-vector direction of its action, as it is aimed at meeting the needs of internal and external users of information, which fundamentally distinguishes it from other concepts of audit. The practical implementation of the interaction of management accounting tools, business analysis and audit at the micro level will also be facilitated by the developed scheme of tourism enterprise management based on the interaction of management accounting, business analysis and audit.

The article considers and analyzes the content lines of preschool education through the prism of preschool childhood tasks. The research material is based on the author’s long-term observations of the activities of senior preschool children and their parents in the educational and methodological center for preschool education of children at the Institute of childhood of Tomsk State Pedagogical University. The principle of the content lines of preschool is, first of all, not to prepare the child for school, but to form in him the most important mental qualities and abilities-arbitrariness, imagination, memory, creativity, tolerance, sociability, independence, etc. These are qualities that shape children’s functional literacy, which means that they can more easily adapt to future school life. This provision sets the vector direction of activity of preschool teachers, which should be focused not on the child’s assimilation of specific educational information, but on the formation of a full-fledged harmonious personality. In the context of the considered problem the author proceeds from the understanding that content lines are the directions of structuring a training course, in which each content line is understood as a stable unit of semantic integrity of a pedagogically appropriate course, subject, and technology. But at the same time, this stable unit cannot be considered independently, it is always interconnected with other components of this course or a specific link in the system and can determine the direction of a different nature or level of work. This understanding of the content lines of preschool education allows you to build a holistic work not only with the child, but also with his parents.

The electric propulsion system NanoFEEP was integrated and tested in orbit on the UWE-4 satellite, which marks the first successful demonstration of an electric propulsion system on board a 1U CubeSat. In-orbit characterization measurements of the heating process of the propellant and the power consumption of the propulsion system at different thrust levels are presented. Furthermore, an analysis of the thrust vector direction based on its effect on the attitude of the spacecraft is described. The employed heater liquefies the propellant for a duration of 30 min per orbit and consumes 103 ± 4 mW. During this time, the respective thruster can be activated. The propulsion system including one thruster head, its corresponding heater, the neutralizer and the digital components of the power processing unit consume 8.5 ± 0.1 mW · μ A−1 + 184 ± 8.5 mW and scales with the emitter current. The estimated thrust directions of two thruster heads are at angles of 15.7 ± 7.6∘ and 13.2 ± 5.5∘ relative to their mounting direction in the CubeSat structure. In light of the very limited power on a 1U CubeSat, the NanoFEEP propulsion system renders a very viable option. The heater of subsequent NanoFEEP thrusters was already improved, such that the system can be activated during the whole orbit period.

The main goal of this study is to develop a qualitatively new model of public relations’ modular regulation, which will overcome stereotypes and shortcomings of legal regulation. The model of modular regulation is characterised by the convergence of all regulators, the vector direction of impact on social relations and other features. In the conditions of inconsistency of social regulators, the proposed model of modular impact on social relations provides an opportunity for everyone to choose the most effective norm. Modular regulation should be used only in some areas of social relations, without replacing legal one. Accordingly, the following criteria are recognised for the legality of applying the modular regulation: evidence of the onset of maximum socially dangerous consequences in the case of the application of an erroneous norm of social regulation and a high degree of self-regulation of particular social relations, the presence of specific laws in them. Given these criteria, it is advisable to use modular regulation in genomic and other research, which is the subject of this article
