Modern technologies for obtaining and processing data lead to new concepts of risk management and safety for territorial development in industrial regions. This paper formulated the definition of “Digital Pattern of Territory Safety” (DPTS) and his structure requirements. The need to create a DSPT is due to the complexity of the tasks of territorial administration, the presence of a large amount of heterogeneous data, the potential of modern intellectual technologies of analysis. The issues of monitoring data integration for the environmental state, control of technosphere objects and characteristics of the social sphere are urgent. The content of a common information space of territorial administration should be determined by the structure of indicators DPTS. The concept of a digital passport of territory safety links types of risks, indicators of their characteristics, information support of indicators with parameters of territory management. The analytical models that consolidate complex monitoring data, dynamic mapping and web visualization were developed for DPTS. Determination of strategic directions for safety territories management, taking into account for their physical-geographical and socio-economic characteristics is based on the systematization of measures to reduce risks. This article provides the examples of using the indicators of Digital Patterns to assess and manage the social, natural and technogenic risks for the systems. The implementations of the safety data sheet in the form of digital twins are possible taking into account the multimodality of information flows

Abstract An integrated optimization model of EEDI and minimum propulsion power has been established in this paper. EEDI optimization needs to meet IMO requirements for minimum propulsion power. Installed power reduction is one of the most effective way to optimize EEDI, but it will make the installed power lower than IMO requirements. From the view of security, it is not allowed. In order to coordinate the contradiction between the reduction of EEDI and the minimum propulsion power of the ship, this paper is devoted to the development of an effective and efficient EEDI optimization method under the minimum propulsion power constraints of the ship. The evaluation method of the objective function EEDI is a digital pattern of hydrodynamics performance for tanker series developed by the China Ship Science Research Center. In order to illustrate the method, the VLCC is selected as the research object, and Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithms II is selected to optimize the EEDI. The calculation results show that energy efficiency has been optimized about 4%, so the EEDI and minimum propulsion power integrated optimization model are reasonable and effective.

According to recent trends, smart clothing products that can receive electromyography (EMG) signals during the wearer’s muscle activity are being developed and commercialized. On the other hand, there is a lack of knowledge on the way to specify the electrode locations on the clothing pattern. Accurately located EMG electrodes in the clothing support the reliability and usefulness of the products. Moreover, a systematic process to construct anatomically validated smart clothing digitally should be performed to facilitate the application of a mass-customized manufacturing system. The current study explored the EMG measurement locations of nine muscles and analyzed them in association with various anthropometric points and even postures based on the 3D body scan data. The results suggest that several line segments of the patterns can be substituted by size-dependent equations for the electrodes in place. As a final step, a customized pattern of a smart EMG suit was developed virtually. The current study proposes a methodology to develop body-size dependent equations and patterns of a smart EMG suit with well-located electrodes using 3D scan data. These results suggest ways to produce smart EMG suits in response to impending automation and mass customization of the clothing manufacturing system.

The tourism industry has grown rapidly in recent years, and IT technology is also having a big impact on tourists. Tourism services, information generated by tourists and other sources can be used to build models of tourist behavior. These models can improve the travel experience in various ways. The author presents the system for analyzing tourist behavior based on the concept of a digital pattern of life. The system determines the tourist, possible data sources, ways of storing and presenting data, as well as tools for analyzing behavior. The author used artifi cial neural networks to analyze behavior from a dataset of tourist travels made with cars. One scenario of tourist behavior using artifi cial neural networks is presented. The collected results will be used for improving tourist services.

AbstractImage processing of digital images is one of the essential categories of image transformation in the theory and practice of digital pattern analysis and computer vision. Automated pattern recognition systems are much needed in the textile industry more importantly when the quality control of products is a significant problem. The printed fabric pattern segmentation procedure is carried out since human interaction proves to be unsatisfactory and costly. Hence, to reduce the cost and wastage of time, automatic segmentation and pattern recognition are required. Several robust and efficient segmentation algorithms are established for pattern recognition. In this paper, different automated methods are presented to segregate printed patterns from textiles fabric. This has become necessary because quality product devoid of any disturbances is the ultimate aim of the textile printing industry.

The tourism industry has been rapidly growing over the last years and IT technologies have had a great affect on tourists as well. Tourist behaviour analysis has been the subject of different research studies in recent years. This paper presents the digital pattern of life concept which simplifies the tourist behaviour models’ construction and usage. The digital pattern of life defines the general concepts of tourist behaviour, connects the tourist and the digital world and allows us to track behaviour changes over time. A literature review of the current state of the research in selected fields is performed for identifying the existing problems. The case studies of behaviour analysis based on classification, clustering and time series events behaviour models are shown. An ontological approach and artificial neural networks are used during behaviour model construction, training and evaluation. The gathered results can be used by smart tourism service developers and business stakeholders.

Batik fabric is a traditional cultural form from Indonesia, developed initially solely for as use of the King and his followers. In modern society, batik has spread more widely into everyday wear for Indonesian people. Batik motifs are made following the market needs and must constantly be updated to cater to changing fashions. Therefore, the author provides training to the younger generation in the digital construction of new batik patterns. The methods used in this training are presentation, tutorials, practicums and discussions. Keywords: Batik Motif, Digital, Pattern
