This article considers the deterministic optimal control problem of profit maximization for inventory replenished at a variable rate and depleted by demand which is assumed to vary with price and stock availability. Optimal policies for the inventor, product order rate and price are derived using the maximum principle. Bounds on the maximum price possible are also derived.

As educational tools continue to evolve technologically, game-based learning (GBL) has emerged for its ability to improve specific learning outcomes such as motivation, engagement, and knowledge acquisition and retention. Despite recent advances with educators incorporating games and gaming strategies into higher-learning curricula, there is a current void in the literature that clarifies the critical relationship between GBL implementations and learning outcomes. In this effort, we build upon previous research by detailing the specification, design, and deployment of a series of GBL experiential learning interventions intended to improve conceptual understanding of vehicle dynamics. This implementation should result in positive downstream impacts on safety, both for the vehicle (i.e., design/interface)—and its driver. In our intervention, we deploy three separate pilot studies in a graduate engineering vehicle dynamics course, all of which leverage advanced GBL environments deployed on a high-fidelity motion-based driving simulator. The primary goals of the pilot studies are to interactively achieve an enhanced understanding of: (i) oversteer/understeer vehicles at ever-increasing speed; (ii) an optimal cornering strategy subject to the tire conditions of the vehicle; and (iii) lateral handling and yaw stabilization of a vehicle within an extreme evasive maneuver at varying entry speeds. The outcomes of the current effort serve to promote a future Theory of Change for planned best practices to improve human factors and human–vehicle machine interfaces through authentication of GBL in engineering education on a broader scale.

The article presents arguments about the difficulties of thinking about thinking, notes the historical nature of both thinking itself and the dialogue about it. The author searches for allies for the thesis that thinking about thinking cannot complete itself because thinking about itself does not follow the cognitive strategy Subject/object. It is not possible, in an act of self-communication (self-recognition), to be both the interpretandum and the interpretans. An interpretandum cannot be simultaneously the interpretans in the thinking of the Self. The author gathers arguments for the thesis that thinking about thinking can be supported by the data on pre-philosophical thinking and on the mechanism of metamorphosis.

The purpose of this study was to find out the difference between student learning outcomes using the make a match strategy and Card Sort strategy in the subjects of AkidahAkhlaq on X grade students in Aliyah Madrasah. This research is a quantitative research with comparative analysis. The subjects of this study were26 X grade studentsof MA M'arifBalong. Data collection used test instruments, while data analysis techniques used the "t" test analysis formula. The results of this study indicate that students who use the make a match strategy were 69.23% in the good category, the sufficient category is 0%, and the less category is 30.77%. While the percentage of learning outcomes of students who use the card sort strategy were 46.15% in the good category, the sufficient category is 0%, and the less category is 53.85%. This shows a significant difference between student learning outcomes using the strategy to make a match and card sort strategy. It is proven by the test "t" obtained t0 = 50.55 at a significant level of 1% tt = 2.80 and at a significant level of 5% tt = 2.06 so that t_0>t_t means Ha is accepted. It means a strategy of making a match is suitable for AkidahAkhlaq because it can improve student learning outcomes while the card sort strategy is not suitable for use in AkidahAkhlaq. Keywords:Learning outcome, make a match strategy, card sort strategy, subject of akidah akhlaq.

This research intended to describe the mathematical representation of students in solving statistical problems based on the Krulik anf Rdunick steps. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were students of the second semester mathematic education study program. The procedure of subjects using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity used triangulation. Data analysis techniques using the Mile and Huberman step, namely data reduction, data presentations, drawing conclusions and verifyingconclusions. The results The results of this study are as follows: (1) subjects with high ability in the read and think and exploration and plan stages, using verbal and symbolic representations. The stage of select a strategy, using symbolic representation. The find and answer stage, uses symbolic and visual representations. In the reflect and extend step, the subject uses verbal representations. For students with moderate ability in the stage of read and think and explore and plan using verbal representation. The stage of finding an answer and select a strategy using verbal and symbolic representation. The reflect and extend stage of the subject uses symbolic representations. In students with low ability to read and think and explore and plan using verbal representation. Stage select a strategy subject using symbolic representation.

There are Many learning strategies that are been identified with distinguish infection based related qualities. At the early, they as a rule moved toward this issue as a parallel arrangement, where preparing set is involved examples. Examples developed sickness qualities, whereas negative examples are there mining which are not known to be connected with contaminations. This is the essential of the twofold deals based diagrams, since the negative arranging set ought to be true non-infection qualities; regardless, advancement of this set is on a very basic level unfeasible in biomedical inspects. Therefore, to reduce this delicacy, insightfully sensible social gathering based techniques have been proposed. For example, unary outline strategy subject to one-class SVM framework was proposed by grabbing from fundamentally positive models. Also, there mining set may contain cloud torment qualities; as such, semi-formed methodologies, for example, twofold semi-controlled & positive & unlabeled (PU) learning blueprints have been proposed. Specifically, PU learning frameworks, which increase from both known suffering qualities & there mining attributes, were appeared to beat others. In these examinations, information sources are commonly tended to by vectorial plan for cemented classifiers, while they are in bit frameworks for unary & PU learning ones. The bit based information blend is reasonable for information with various sorts & it has the majority of the stores of being uncalled for or the relationship subject to various information diagrams. In like manner, in this examination, we looked accumulating structures for the ailment quality figure dependent on vectorial delineation of tests. The spread outcome demonstrated that the unary strategy structure, which joins both thickness & class likelihood estimation approachs, accomplished the best execution, where as it is most recognizably stunning for the one-class SVM-based technique. fascinatingly, execution of a best twofold outline framework is in each rational sense misty with that of uneven SVM-based PU learning & twofold semidirected hoarding strategy they are altogether improved.
