Situ adalah wadah genangan air di atas permukaan tanah yang terbentuk secara alami maupun buatan yang sumber airnya berasal dari mata air, air hujan, dan/atau limpasan air permukaan. Situ dapat dimanfaatkan secara ekologis dan ekonomis yaitu sebagai habitat berbagai jenis hewan, tumbuhan, daerah resapan air, sumber air bagi kehidupan, pengendali banjir dan pengatur iklim, sebagai lahan perikanan, penghasil sumber daya alam, serta sarana wisata dan olahraga (Puspita et al, 2005). Situ Rawa Lumbu terletak di Kecamatan Rawa Lumbu, Kota Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Kondisi Situ Rawa Lumbu saat ini mengalami pendangkalan akibat pembuangan sampah/limbah dari pemukiman sehingga air mengalami pencemaran. Dengan demikian, kawasan di sekitar situ mengalami krisis air bersih. Hal ini berdampak kepada pengaruh lingkungan alam khususnya dalam konservasi Kawasan Situ. Sebagai solusi dari permasalahan tersebut, maka diperlukan usaha pelestarian kawasan situ Rawa Lumbu, perlunya penataan pada Kawasan Situ Rawa Lumbu yang ramah lingkungan dengan tujuan melestarikan Kawasan konservasi dan meningkatkan sumber daya manusia sekitar. Oleh karena itu Program Studi Arsitektur Universitas Kristen Indonesia merencanakan Kegiatan Usulan Desain Kawasan Wisata Situ Rawa Lumbu Kota Bekasi yang diharapkan dapat ikut berpartisipasi dalam pembangunan kota Jakarta dan sekitarnya, dengan memperhatikan prinsip Pembangunan Yang Berkelanjutan. Urbanization has a negative impact on raptor species diversity and abundance. However, some species can adapt to urban areas, and the process of city colonization by raptors has been documented scarcely in the Northern Hemisphere. Information about city colonization by raptors in the Southern Hemisphere is null, and studies about habitat use by raptors are scarce. The objectives of this study were: (1) to describe an event of Harris Hawk (Parabuteo unicinctus) arrival in Mar del Plata city, Argentina, and (2) to analyze its green area use in a recently colonized city, Buenos Aires. Long-term data collected during 2002–2019, along an urbanization gradient of Mar del Plata, was used to describe the city arrival by the Harris Hawk. Surveys of green areas in Buenos Aires were used to model the Harris Hawk occurrence in relation to green area size and isolation to other green spaces. The Harris Hawk arrival was observed during 2019, mainly in periurban areas of Mar del Plata, and at least three pairs were breeding. In Buenos Aires, the occurrence of the Harris Hawk in green areas was related to the proximity to other large green areas. The results obtained suggest the importance of green areas for raptor colonization in cities.

In recent years, the degree of marketization allocation of marine resources has been increasing in China. The central government has issued a series of laws and regulations to comprehensively promote the bidding, auction and listing of sea area use rights, and local governments have also issued supporting policies for market transfer based on the price assessment of the sea area use right. Among the numerous evaluation methods, the hypothetical development method is to evaluate the developed and undeveloped sea areas as they are completed, which is very suitable for the current situation of sea areas before listing, and has become the most commonly used evaluation method in the field of sea area use right evaluation. In this study, the entertainment sea area in B city is taken as an example, and the sea area price is calculated in detail by using the hypothetical development method. By analyzing the calculation process and results, this paper discusses the application and limitations of the hypothetical development method in the field of sea area price evaluation. It is of positive significance to further improve the price evaluation of the sea areas use right.

ABSTRACT This article focuses on the effect of urbanization on violent crime – particularly homicide in Costa Rica. Although violence is a major problem throughout Latin America, few empirical studies carried out in the area use high-quality socioeconomic and crime databases with a high level of geographical disaggregation. In this article, we employ data from all 473 districts of Costa Rica between 2010 and 2013. We develop a model which takes into account endogeneity problems and uses contrasts of marginal linear predictions. We conclude that the degree of urban concentration plays a key role in explaining homicide rates, other things being equal. This effect is progressive: the greater the urban concentration, the greater the increase in homicide rates. This causal relationship is not observed in offenses other than homicide.

Oceans and their resources are experiencing immense pressure because of human exploitation. The intensive use of sea areas has become an important method in solving the contradiction between ocean supply and demand, thereby ensuring sustainable marine economy development, tapping potential sea-area utilization, reasonably allocating sea-area utilization structures, and increasing marine economic benefits. This paper explores the definition and connotation of intensive sea-area use and constructs an evaluation index system based on marine input intensity, marine utilization structure, marine economic benefit, and marine ecological environment. Multi-objective variable fuzzy set theory and fuzzy decision analysis methods were used to evaluate the intensive sea-area utilization in the Liaoning Coastal Economic Zone of China during 2004–2016. The spatial differentiation characteristics of intensive sea-area use were analysed using cluster analysis. The research result showed that: (1) Intensive utilization level of the Liaoning coastal economic zone has gradually increased, while it is still in a moderately weak level; (2) Sea area intensive utilization varied in degrees and fluctuates in the six cities under the jurisdiction of the Liaoning coastal economic zone; and (3) Marine input intensity, marine utilization structure, marine economic benefit, and marine sustainability indexes have increased in the cities, thereby exhibiting improvements in the Liaoning coastal economic zone.

Studying the water quality is significant to protect and for coastal area-use planning in Banda Aceh City, Aceh Province. This study took seawater samples from 13 stations in the northern waters of Banda Aceh on September 10-11 2019. Surface water samples were taken using Van Dorn bottle, which were then tested on 22 types of parameters to evaluate the water quality in the area. In general, the results of tests on various water parameters indicate that the sea waters in Banda Aceh are in good condition. Attention needs to be paid to nitrates and phosphates, which indicate values that exceed water quality standards, thus possible to trigger algal blooms.Keywords:Water qualityNitrateFisheryABSTRAKKajian kualitas air sangat penting untuk melindungi serta untuk perencanaan pemanfaatan ruang pesisir di Kota Banda Aceh, Provinsi Aceh. ABTRACT Efficiency is one of the important indicators to assess the performance of a company or farm. Efficiency guarantees the use of certain inputs to achieve maximum output levels (technical efficiency) and also efficiency ensures the use of certain inputs that maximize profits (price efficiency or allocative efficiency). This article discusses the application of the estimation of price efficiency / allocative efficiency of the use of production inputs in bean farming using the linearized Cobb-Douglas Production function. The results of the analysis shows that the application of price efficiency estimation for production inputs using the Cobb-Douglas production function is satisfactory as long as the classical assumptions required by the multiple regression are fulfilled. Of the five production inputs included in the model, only one production input provides a significant value to production, namely the production input for the land area use. Thus, only the production input for land area use is estimated at the value of its price efficiency. Based on the results of the analysis, it is found that the use of production inputs for land area use has not yet reached its price efficiency.

This paper presents a new approach to predict the helpfulness of opinions. Usually, researchers in this area use tables of attribute-value to aggregate the features that represent the evaluated texts. Although that representation is common, it considers that the objects are independent. We argue that among the discriminant factors of the helpfulness of opinions, there are dependent factors of the relationship among the opinion-forming elements. Thus, we modeled this task as a network, considering the information of relations among objects in the network (comments, stars, and words). A regularization technique of graphs is used to extract the relevant features of graph structure and, after that, the comments are classified as helpful or unhelpful. We compared our network model with two baselines methods, one based on fuzzy logic and another based on Neural Networks. Our model outperformed the fuzzy logic and Neutal Network methods in 0.17 and 0.19 of F-measure, respectively. The main advantages of our approach are that few data are necessary to helpfulness classification and the relationships may help in the understanding the classification, explaining the reasons for a determinate classification.
