This article uses Internet archives to explore the emergence and spread of the term ‘mHealth’ (mobile health technologies) in the Danish Web domain from 2006 to 2018, focusing on the actors that contributed to its evolution. We propose three methods for investigating the Web pages and Web sites that employed the term ‘mHealth’. Our findings highlight temporal developments in the use of ‘mHealth’, with diverse actors using it, though none clearly dominated. The article attends to challenges in working with Web archive data, and presents methods that can be used by others wishing to engage empirically with Internet archives, which remain vast, but largely under-exploited resources.

Context. Collecting a large variety of exoplanetary atmosphere measurements is crucial to improve our understanding of exoplanets. In this context, it is likely that the field would benefit from broad species surveys, particularly using transit spectroscopy, which is the most successful technique of exoplanetary atmosphere characterization so far. Aims. Our goal is to develop a model-unbiased technique using transit spectroscopy to analyze every qualified atomic spectral line in exoplanetary transit data, and search for relative absorption, that is, a decrease in the flux of the line when the planet is transiting. Methods. We analyzed archive data from HDS at Subaru, HIRES at Keck, UVES at VLT, and HARPS at LaSilla to test our spectral survey methodology. It first filtered individual lines by relative noise levels. It also corrected for spectral offsets and telluric contamination. Our methodology performed an analysis along time and wavelength. The latter employed a bootstrap corroboration. Results. We highlight the possible detections of Mn I and V II in HD 209459b data taken by HDS at Subaru (5.9σ at 5916.4 Å, 5.1σ at 6021.8 Å). The previous detection of Ca I in the same planet is classified as inconclusive by our algorithm, but we support the previous detection of Sc II (3.5σ at 6604.6 Å). We also highlight the possible detection of Ca I, Sc II, and Ti II in HD 189733 data taken by UVES at VLT (4.4σ at 6572.8 Å, 6.8σ at 6604.6 Å, and 3.5σ at 5910.1 Å), in addition to the possible detection of Al I in WASP-74b data taken by UVES at VLT (5.6σ at 6696.0 Å).

A long-term, high-resolution cropland dataset plays an essential part in accurately and systematically understanding the mechanisms that drive cropland change and its effect on biogeochemical processes. However, current widely used spatially explicit cropland databases are developed according to a simple downscaling model and are associated with low resolution. By combining historical county-level cropland archive data with natural and anthropogenic variables, we developed a random forest model to spatialize the cropland distribution in the Tuojiang River Basin (TRB) during 1911–2010, using a resolution of 30 m. The reconstruction results showed that the cropland in the TRB increased from 1.13 × 104 km2 in 1911 to 1.81 × 104 km2. In comparison with satellite-based data for 1980, the reconstructed dataset approximated the remotely sensed cropland distribution. Our cropland map could capture cropland distribution details better than three widely used public cropland datasets, due to its high spatial heterogeneity and improved spatial resolution. The most critical factors driving the distribution of TRB cropland include nearby-cropland, elevation, and climatic conditions. This newly reconstructed cropland dataset can be used for long-term, accurate regional ecological simulation, and future policymaking. This novel reconstruction approach has the potential to be applied to other land use and cover types via its flexible framework and modifiable parameters.

Kelurahan is one of the government agencies which is the spearhead in administrative services to the wider community, the Kaliwungu subdistrict is an administrative part of the Kaliwungu sub-district, Semarang Regency which is located at Jl. Raya Ampel –Simo KM 8, in the service and processing of population administration data in the Kaliwungu village, they still use the conventional method, namely the data is still stored separately in books, this of course has weaknesses such as when looking for data records, difficulties in making reports population that cannot be obtained immediately and the process of data collection and storage of population archive data that is still stored and recorded manually. This research was conducted using the Research & Development Method through the system design stages which were validated by experts and product prototypes that were field tested by involving users. Making a prototype of an electronic filing system (e-filing) system application using the ALFRED method approach to analyze the system, the software used using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as a design medium and as a programming language, and a SQL Server database as a storage medium. The final result of this research is a product prototype of a filing system using an electronic filing system (e-filing) which has been declared to be functioning properly so that it can produce useful information for the archiving process up to the stage of making reports, which can be done quickly and accurately in accordance with established procedures. already exist, making it easier to re-access archives and provide public services with accurate and integrated information

Data deduplication is a crucial technique for packing data and reducing duplication when transferring data. It is widely used in the cloud to restrict the usage of capacity memory and aids in transmission capacity sparing. Before redistributing data, an encryption mechanism is used to ensure the integrity of sensitive data during the deduplication process. The SHA algorithm is being used to save data in text format. To generate the security bits, padding is appended to the text. In de-duplication, it calculates the hash, i.e. hexadecimal number, string, and integer data. Hash-based de-duplication is the implementation of whole file hashing to the entire file. Text data’s hash values are considered to as feature properties. In contrast to traditional deduplication solutions, clients that transfer data to the cloud certify duplication inside the cloud data. In virtualization, both limiting primary memory size and memory blockage are considered important bottlenecks. Memory deduplication identifies pages with the same content and merges them into a single data file, reducing memory usage, memory parceling, and improving execution. In cloud storage, the MPT is used to deduplication so that it is used in single copies of the same data for different data owners. If any data users try to replicate the same data, it will be mapped and related to the archive data, implying that the data can’t be stored away. To ensure cloud data security, encryption techniques are used to encrypt data throughout deduplication procedures and prior to outsourcing cloud data.

Abstract. The Conservation and the Restoration of Cultural Heritage is a particularly specialized and interdisciplinary process. It requires scientific monitoring and planning and incorporation of skills and knowledge in the academic milieu. Relevant studies programs and courses are primarily designed to explore the possibility of cooperation between scientists (archaeologists, architects, surveyors, engineers etc.). Participating in such an educational institution (Interdepartmental Program of Postgraduate Studies “Protection, Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Monuments”, AUTh, Greece), the development of a protocol for a GIS related to the restoration of cultural heritage buildings and sites through documentation stage was born out of necessity.Α GIS application including the documentation (geometric, architectural, structural etc.) of the historical complex of Saint John, the Baptist (19th century, Kavala, Greece), while using modern 3D representational techniques (laser scanner, topography, photogrammetry, GPS), and the related thematic information (analysis, archive data) has been organized for that purpose and has been used as a case study. The main objectives of the project are to give guidelines regarding the collection, the processing and the management of heritage data, to articulate the cross-disciplinary collaboration/synergy and to provide an educational toolkit. The methodology is proposed to be applied to other objects of study such as archaeological sites, individual structures, monuments and sites of different dating and use (e.g., industrial, religious, fortification etc.).

Letters archiving is the process of receiving, collecting, maintaining letters in a structured manner by an agency, however, the process of filing letters at the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) Satuan Pendidikan Non Formal (SPNF) Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Salatiga still has problems such as recording letter archive data that still uses a letter agenda book which sometimes occurs errors in recording, archival document storage which is physically stored on a mailing cabinet which is prone to being lost, scattered, or damaged and the large number of existing documents causes employees to need extra time and effort to look for them. With the Letter Archive Information System designed using the prototype method, it allows employees to take part in the design of this system by providing opinions and suggestions on system design so that the results will be more optimal, maximum and can be a solution to the problems that exist in the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) Satuan Pendidikan Non Formal (SPNF) Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Salatiga.
