This research is about academic advising in bachelor degree of management department in a private university in Bandung City. There are two style of academic advising, prescriptive and developmental academic advising. The result showed developmental academic advising is covered in that department. In this research, the differences in perceptions of academic advising were tested based on gender, origin area of residence, age, year of study, intensity, and frequency of academic advising. The main objective of this research is to provide an evaluation of academic advising process based on academic demographic of respondents. The tests of differences were carried out by using Anova Test and U Mann Whitney Test on 302 samples of respondents. The results showed that there are differences in perceptions of academic advising based on ages, year of study, and frequency of academic advising. Meanwhile, some of variable such as gender, origin area of residence, and time intensity of academic advising, there were no differences in their perceptions. From the research results, the department can redesign the academic advising system which is suited to students to make academic advising becomes one of excellent academic achievement tool.

Blossoming territory is one of the efforts made by the government to improve the welfare of the community. This research is motivated by the high interest of the people and the People's Representative Council (PRC) to make their regional autonomous. On the other hand, according to the Ministry of the Interior of the New Autonomous Region, the results of the autonomous region still failed to develop. To see the welfare of the people in the region resulting from the autonomous, researchers tried to look at it based on the results of regional macro development. Therefore, a Regional Development Index (RDI) constructed, which uses the factor analysis weighting method. RDI can be used to see the achievements of the regional development in Indonesia by looking at the comparison of development outcomes. So that RDI can see the development performance of the new autonomous regency/city and see the comparison with the origin regency/city. Besides, researchers looked at the effect of the share of mining Regional GDP, the share of agricultural Regional GDP, the average length of school for workers (ALSW), the percentage of roads in a minimum good condition, and the growth of Regional Original Income (ROI) to development performance in the autonomous regency/city using the method of regression analysis with panel data. Based on the results obtained, development in the area of new autonomy is not much different from the development in the origin area. Also, the average length os school for workers (ALSW) and minimum road percentage both have positive and significant effects on RDI, while the share of agricultural GRDP has a negative and significant effect on RDI.

The aim of this work is to generate a theoretical physical analysis that could be used as a tool that facilitates the criminalistic function in its objective of clarifying the truth and helping to impart justice. One of the most studied fields of action in the criminal area is related to the scenes of a crime, in which, generally, there are evidences associated with hematic impressions. A drop of blood, in its way towards the ground, follows a trajectory that can be calculated through the laws of Physics, behaving like a body in a fluid. To the extent that this model is more detailed, the position of the blood drop can be described more precisely. A detailed analysis of the displacement in the air of a drop of blood, generated by a cutting wound, is presented. Results could be used to determine the spatial point of origin of a drop of blood from experimental measurements on the hematic impression in crime scene. The proper estimation of this position could be of great help at the moment of a criminal investigation since could serve as an additional evidence offering a clearer vision of the events that occurred, to the judge.

The work presents modern data on the location, morphometry, and genesis of the largest lakes basins of the Kuril Islands obtained in the volcanological expeditions of the IMGG FEB RAS during 2005– 2018 and using open geographic information resources. 1099 lakes were sampled according to the criterion S ≥ 1 km², the list of studied objects included 20 reservoirs, represented by 7 volcanic and 13 lagoon lakes. The considered lakes are clearly divided according to their origin, area and height of the mirror, and maximum depth. The most part of large lakes falls on the Southern Kurils, and the largest water body – the volcanic lake Koltsevoe – is located on Onekotan Island, which is a part of the group of the Northern Kurils. Volcanic lakes occupy an area of 48.26 km² (60 % of the total area of 20 lakes), the depth varies in the range from several tens to several hundred meters. This category of lakes is characterized by relatively high levels of the mirror, which range from 50 to 648 m above sea level. Lagoon lakes occupy an area of 32.15 km² (40 % of the total area of 20 lakes), the depth of water bodies is small – from 1 to 23 m, the absolute height of the lake mirror is from 1–5 to 8–9 m.

Abstract In many Western countries, the total fertility rate (TFR) of immigrant women has declined over the last decades. This paper proposes two methods for investigating such changes in the aggregate immigrant fertility level: what-if scenarios and a formal decomposition. Both methods disentangle the effect of changed composition—by origin area and duration of stay—from the effect of changed fertility within subgroups. The methods are applied to data from Norway, where immigrant TFR declined from 2.6 births per women in 2000 to below 2.0 in 2017. The results show that this decline is not due to successful integration, nor changed composition of immigrant women by origin area or duration of stay. A main reason for the decline is found among newly arrived immigrant women, particularly from Asia. They have a considerably lower fertility now than what the newly arrived had 15–20 years ago. After investigating several possible reasons for the TFR decline among the newly arrived, decreased fertility in origin areas is suggested as a key driver.

This research aims to know the movement patterns of tourist destinationfloating market, Lembang, West Bandung Regency. The method used inthis research is descriptive method with a survey approach. The studylasted from June to July 2019. The indicators are (1) the number oftourist visits each tourist destination, (2) motivation of tourist visits, (3)length of stay, (4) modes of transportation, (5) accessibility to touristdestinations, (6) traveling experience, (7) number of travelingcompanions, (8) tourist attraction. The results showed tourists fromBanten Province tended to only make Multiple Patterns with the type ofChaining Loop and Stopover. The age of 17-30 years dominates the eraof tourists; these tourists do tours with their families as much as 100%.Tourists travel time from the origin area to tourist area is 4 to 5 hours, sotourists further shorten the time of visiting each destination anddestinations visited by more tourists.
