Post-traumatic osteoarthritis could emerge immediately after an injury or one year after a bone fracture, ligament injury, and meniscal tears. In this case report, we present a 30 years old male who previously suffered from joint injury and thus lost the ability to flexion. This patient has already under went internal bone implantation surgery involving the implantation but was removed due to pain, and there was protruding implant on the left knee. On physical examination, there was varus deformity with flexion ranged between 0-5°. On radiological examination, malunion and narrowing of the joint surface were, as shown, clinically inhibit the flexion of the knee. We diagnose the patient with malunion supracondylar femur sinistra and post traumatic osteoarthritis genu sinistra. Liberation procedure (soft tissues release) and osteotomy of the distal femur were performed on this patient. On post-op radiological examination, the implant successfully widens the joint surface and holds the fracture fragment after it was reduced. The joint was immediately mobilize using the machine. It was shown that in a relatively short period, the range of motion could reach 90°. Three months post-op, evaluation was done, and it was clearly shown that the range of motion had not decreased.

Abstract Tear-drop fracture of the axis are rare. It is characterized by a fracture of the anterior-inferior corner of the C2 body. The mechanism is usually in extension which is different from the tear-drop of lower cervical spine. We report two cases of adults who sustained a road traffic accident. They did not have any neurological deficit. The diagnosis was made on radiological examination. They both were treated conservatively with rigid immobilization and recovered well. Tear-drop fracture of the axis are usually stable. Imagery is the key of the diagnosis. Neurological deficit is rare. Conservative management usually give good outcome for non-complicated cases.

The outbreak of the SARS CoV-2, referred to as COVID-19, was initially reported in 2019 and has swiftly spread around the world. The identification of COVID-19 cases is one of the key factors to inhibit the spread of the virus. While there are multiple ways to diagnose COVID-19, these techniques are often expensive, time-consuming, or not readily available. Detection of COVID-19 using a radiological examination of Chest X-Rays provides a more viable, rapid, and efficient solution as it is easily available in most countries. The paper outlines a method that employs an unsupervised convolutional filter learning using Convolutional Autoencoder (CAE) followed by applying it to COVID-19 classification as a downstream task. This shows that the proposed technique provides state-of-the-art results with an average accuracy of 99.7%, AUC of 99.7%, specificity of 99.8%, sensitivity of 99.6%, and F1-score of 99.6%. We release the data and code for this work to aid further research.

The concept of Srotas and Srotodushti Lakshana has been very scientifically explained in the various context of Ayurveda literature. Detailed Srotas and Srotodushti Lakshana are according to Charaka Samhita Vimansthana assessment of Srotodushti Lakshana can be done by Pratyksha Pramana and in detail explanation. The Srotas play an important role in physiology and the pathogenesis of diseases in normal state; they regulate the physiolo- gy of the body and maintain the anatomical structures of dhatus. The influences of aetiology factors on Srotas can affect pathological manifestations. Considering this fact present study explores various aspects related to the Sro- tas, Srotodushti and Srotodushti Lakshana. Objectives-To assessment of Srotodushti Lakshana in Artavavaha Srotas through Clinical, biochemical, and radiological examination in Artavavaha Srotas. Methodology -The study was conducted under two headings, conceptual and survey study. Conceptual study all the concerned litera- ture were referred and analysed and for survey study, the Artvavaha Sroto Vikara observed and survey through face-face interview. -Hence it is concluded that the knowledge of Srotas is not only used in learning about the anatomy of the transport system of the body but also to understand their physiology and pathology. ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: Dysphagia is the most frequent digestive symptom in Chagas disease, although other symptoms are reported. These symptoms can be associated with the degree of radiological impairment of the esophagus and the duration of dysphagia. OBJECTIVE: This investigation aimed to assess the symptoms and the time of dysphagia related to the different degrees of megaesophagus in patients with Chagas disease. METHODS: A total of 29 patients aged 48 to 73 years participated in this investigation. All of them had dysphagia and a positive serum result for Chagas disease. They were submitted to the assessment of symptoms and radiological examination of the esophagus to assess the degree of megaesophagus, which ranged from I (mild change) to IV (intense change). Dysphagia was quantified with the Eating Assessment Tool (EAT-10). RESULTS: Twelve (41%) patients had megaesophagus degree I, 9 (31%) had degree II, and 8 (28%) had degrees III (6) and IV (2). The intensity of dysphagia was not related to the result of the radiological examination, with EAT-10 median of 5.5 for the degree I, 9.0 for degree II, and 5.5 for degrees III and IV (P>0.25). Choking (14%), regurgitation (21%), voice complaint (21%), weight loss (17%), and odynophagia (17%) were not related to the degree of megaesophagus. Voice changes and odynophagia were related to the patients’ time of dysphagia. Likewise, the frequency of symptoms and EAT-10 values were related to the duration of dysphagia. CONCLUSION: The longer the patient had dysphagia, the more frequent were the symptoms reported by the patients. There was no relationship between the degrees of megaesophagus and the symptoms and intensity of dysphagia.

Sarcoidosis with nail involvement is rare and most commonly affecting plural digits. Nail changes are frequently an indication of systemic disease and underlying bone involvement, thus complete clinical evaluation with bone and thorax radiological examination is a necessity in suspected cases. We report a case of onychodystrophy with osseous involvement of only one finger as unique manifestation of sarcoidosis, which is very rare.
