The Presidential Regulation instigated this research to simplify the Bureaucracy with only two positions in government organisations. Accountability, position, work complexity, authority, coordination mechanism, organizing, and work system can induce several problems when this regulation is implemented. This research aims to critically explore the model for organizing government institutions in simplifying Bureaucracy. This research employed PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). This research shows that the adhocratic organisation model as the antithesis of Bureaucracy by creating several task groups coordinated by the highest functionary position, reconfiguring the management of functionary position, and applicating business process are recommendations to anticipate problems emerging from simplifying Bureaucracy. But, not all government functions can be made adhocratic, and it is also crucial to understand that the management and leaders need to departmentalise in simplifying Bureaucracy meticulously.

The auditor's performance was again highlighted by various cases that emerged in the media some time ago. This study tried to look at the factors that influence the auditor's performance in carrying out his work. Factors of work experience, work complexity, and self-efficacy are of concern to researchers because some previous studies still show inconsistent resultson performance. The study was conducted on auditors in the public accounting firm in the area of South Jakarta, using convenience sampling, with data processing using the help of software Lisrel 8.7 and SPSS 23.The results of the study indicate that work experience has a significant effect on audit performance, while work complexity has a negative effect on audit performance. Self-efficacy affects audit performance.

Background: Several existing studies have reported that occupational factors might play an important part in cognitive function with aging. Objective: We aim to explore the associations between modifiable occupational factors and risk of dementia or mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Methods: Adopting random-effect models, this study conducted primary analyses for all occupational factors and subgroup analyses for the effect of occupation type based on prospective cohort and case-control studies searched from PubMed and EMBASE databases up to March 2020. Results: Among the 38,111 identified literatures, 9 studies on occupation type, 4 studies on work complexity, and 30 studies on occupational exposure were included. In terms of occupation type, mental work conferred a 44% reduced risk (95% CI = 0.34–0.94, I² = 85.00%, p < 0.01) for MCI. In terms of work complexity, higher work complexity conferred a 5% reduced risk (95% CI = 0.91–1.00, I² = 57.00%, p < 0.01) for dementia. In terms of occupational exposure, high strain and passive job in the longest-held job conferred a 1.21- and 1.15-fold excess risk (95% CI = 1.05–1.39 I² = 62.00%, p < 0.05; 95% CI = 1.05–1.26 I² = 31.00%, p = 0.23; respectively) of cognitive decline. Besides, magnetic field exposure conferred a 1.26-fold excess risk (95% CI = 1.01–1.57, I² = 69.00%, p < 0.01) for dementia. Conclusion: Novel prevention strategies based on occupational factors may hold promise against dementia and MCI.

What are the directions of change in the complexity of work and the required skill levels of the labour force in Europe? Three prominent strands of literature suggest conflicting expectations – upskilling, deskilling and polarisation. This question is answered by employing a novel work complexity indicator that measures how tasks are performed at work according to three dimensions: routinisation of tasks, autonomy at work and continuous skill-building. The measurements rely on the European Working Conditions Surveys carried out in 2005, 2010 and 2015. The results show that the European labour markets witness upskilling with some polarisation, although there are significant cross-national differences. They also show that, individually, neither shifts in work complexity within occupations (deskilling hypothesis), nor changes in employment structure (the focus of the upskilling and polarisation hypotheses) can provide an adequate view of trends in the European labour markets. Instead, both vectors of change should be analysed collectively.

The article analyzes some peculiar features in the English translation of the glorious Ukrainian literary monument «On the Campaign of Igor» («Slovo o polku Igoreve») by the famous American researches Jack Haney and Eric Dahl. It also considers the various publications and translations of the work in English, taking into account the Ukrainian monument translation. It is stated that in America there are very few works published by the scholars on this issue. It is connected not with the lack of interest in «On the Campaign of Igor», but it is due to the work complexity with the poem, the problems of translation, and the presence of «confusing selections», as well as unawareness of the political, economic, and everyday situation of those times. It is obvious that the American textbook «On the Campaign of Igor» is a classical scientific English-language edition containing the poem text, explanations, and key aspects. It allows American students not only to study the text of the ancient Ukrainian monument in the original language, but also learn about the historical and literary situation of those times as the Americans imagine it.

This study aims to examine several factors that can influence employee performance including work complexity, career development, and organizational communication The sample used was 76 Bank “X” employees in Surakarta City. The sampling method uses the survey sampling method. The type of data used is primary data. The data analysis method uses multiple regression with the help of SPSS 23 The coefficient of determination test results shows that the complexity of work, career development and organizational communication can explain employee performance by 50.3% while the remaining 49.7% employee performance will be explained by other factors outside the three research variables. The results of the hypothesis test analysis show the conclusion that work complexity, career development, and organizational communication affect employee performance.
